Remus would definitely have the snarkiest, most clever commentary, but he would only speak his thoughts loud enough for the Marauders to hear. Frequently, other students would see James, Sirius and Peter rolling with laughter so intense it was painful. And there, in the centre, would be Remus with the slightest smirk on his otherwise pleasantly engaged expression.
