Dear Mr Scamander,

My name is Molly Weasley and I am writing to you about my second eldest son, Charlie. The boy is seriously interested in all magical creatures, you see. We bought him your book two years ago, and he has been dreaming of meeting you in person. I dare say you are like a hero to him.

Now, I perfectly understand that you are most certainly a very busy man who has lots of his own matters to attend to, so meeting in person is out of question. But maybe you could write him a little letter? His 12th birthday is coming in two days. He would be happy beyond belief get a small message from you personally. Just a few encouraging words will do, really!

Sorry to be such a bother. If it is not too much of an inconvenience, then send it with the owl that delivered this letter.
