{Chapter 6 ~ Kidnapped!}
"So, how are we going to hunt this wizard down?" Luna asked excitedly.
"Wait, there's more to the story," I stopped Luna.
"More? Okay then," she sat down on the floor.
I sat down on the floor too, my legs crossed.
"When I got to Ron, he was trapped by Ginny and I threw him a rolling pin. He didn't catch it though, it hit him straight in the chest. Ginny turned around to face me and when our eyes met, I collapsed. When I woke up, Ginny told me she had a weird feeling and she felt like someone was watching her. She said it had started at ten o'clock. But ten o'clock was the exact time I had pulled my father's book out from the restricted area. I went to look at the book and flipped the pages until I came across the last page. Only the top half was there and there were some notes. The notes said whoever pulled this book out, a curse will be put on one of their loved ones. Their hearts will take six months to turn dark and they will eventually bring chaos to the Wizarding World. Once this world's destroyed, they will go to the a Muggle World."
"Okay, now that's bad. But I think we can find the wizard in six months," Luna smiled.
"But the wizard's probably dead now, and we have no idea where his younger generation is," I said helplessly.
"Didn't you say your father's book title was called 'Old Spells for Time Travel'?"
"Why- Oh, I know! No, the book said it takes perfect skills and talent to master those spells. That's just something we don't have," Harry protested.
"Harry, we can learn. Remember, if you keep trying, nothing is impossible," she smiled.
"I guess," I shrugged my shoulders.
There was no stopping Luna now.
"Come on, let's get to The Burrow," she said as she held my hand and we Apparated there.
"Follow me," I said as I led her over to my bed.
I lifted my pillow up and stopped. No fancy book lied there. No. It couldn't be gone.
"Harry? Is something wrong?" Luna asked worriedly.
"Where's the book?" I freaked out.
"Where is it? No, no, no, no, no. Come on, come on. Book, show yourself!"
"Harry don't worry, we can find it again. Remember, things we lose always have a way of coming back to us. Not always in the way we expect," she smiled.
"Luna, I know your mother was very great and knowledgable but now is not the best time to be hearing her quotes," I said.
I had pulled apart almost my whole bedroom now. Maybe there's one thing that could work, I thought.
"Accio Book!" I yelled.
About fifteen books came flying to me all at once.
"Quick! Luna help me search all these books," I said.
We both started rummaging through the books until Luna stopped me.
"Wait, I think I hear something thumping," she said.
She walked over to my wardrobe and opened it just a crack. Wide enough for a small book to fly out. Swish!
"Ouch," I groaned, the book hit me right in the face.
"Oh, I'm so sorry!"
"That's okay," I smiled weakly.
"Is it the right one?"
I looked at the cover. It looked the same but something was different about it. I could feel it, I felt like it was... 'Fake'. I was almost positive it wasn't the real copy. Suddenly my wardrobe creaked slowly and the door opened fully. Out stepped a red eyed and black haired Ginny Weasley.
"Luna! Get away from there!" I yelled.
But she wasn't quick enough. Ginny grabbed her and pulled her into the wardrobe with her. She had closed the door so I couldn't see them. I could hear Luna scream and then everything went quiet.
"Luna?" I opened the wardrobe door slowly and peeked inside.
No one was in there. When I looked closer I could see something dark red. Blood. I forced myself to look even more closely. I could see something almost white, glinting in the light. It was a piece of Luna's hair.
"Luna! This is all my fault, I never should have told her," I sighed.
I walked back over to where the fake copy of my father's book sat. I flipped through the book. Blank. All the pages were completely blank. That confirmed it, this book was a complete fluke. I picked the book up and threw it into my bin. I heard a click when it landed. I went to save the book from the rubbish and when I picked it up, it started glowing red. The middle circle on the front cover had opened up. You could see just slightly, a tiny scroll in it. I carefully placed the book on my bed and ran down to the kitchen.
"Mrs Weasly! Do you have any tweezers I could borrow?" I asked.
"Sure thing, they're up in my room. Are you okay? I heard some thumping noises up in your room."
"Yes, I'm good," I lied.
I ran up the very many flights of stairs and into Molly Weasly's room. I found her tweezers and then I ran back to my room. I shakily approached the glowing book and kneeled down on my floor. I held the tweezers above the scroll and opened them ever so slightly. I lowered them and closed them over the scroll. I pulled them out and let go of the scroll next to the book. I carefully picked it up, it was too hard to read.
"Engorgio!" I shouted.
As soon as the words left my mouth the writing started growing. When it had stopped I read.
Harry Potter,
You probably know by now this is a fake book. I have taken Luna far away, but don't worry, I won't hurt her. You will just never be able to find her again! In five months and thirty days I will be able to bring chaos to this world and destroy it!
Ginny Weasley
P.S. By the way, you will be the last to fall.
You will be the last to fall. That meant, that I would have to watch my friends fall first.
