We decided to stay in all day but all I can think about is the letter. I mean it is a joke right. When it was 6pm the door bell went off making all of us freeze. So I decided to go and answer the door. Standing there was an old man with long grey hair and even longer grey beard.
"Hello I am Albus Dumbledore." He told me with a smile. "Headmaster of Hogwarts." I knew my eyes where wide like golf balls.
"Please come in" so I moved out of his way. When we went in the front room everyone was silent. "This is Albus Dumbledore" I told them I saw shock on all there face. So Albus sat down.
"I'm here to see what your answer is to the letter." He said.
"So I'm a witch". I asked.
" yes and a powerful one at that." He told me.
"What about Shawn." I asked
"Ashleigh you have different dad's." My mum told me.
"What." I said.
"Ashleigh your dad is powerful and the most evil wizard in history." Albus told me. I could tell this was going to break my heart. "When he started getting powerful he got followers called death eaters." At this my and Kay burst out laughing.
"Who would want to eat death." She asked gasping for air. Albus chuckled.
"He believes that there should be pure wizards or some half-bloods. He believed that muggles, muggle borns and other half-bloods should die. There was a rumer going around saying that he will be defeated by a wizard born in June. So he found the child and killed his parents but when he went to kill the boy but the spell didn't kill the child but he vanished." Albus told me. So my dad killed innocent people. "He wants power and now he knows he has an heir."
"An heir." I asked.
"Someone to help him to get to power." My eyes widened he wants me to hurt innocent people.
"No I refuse to help him." I told Albus.
"Good know I will pick you up at 9am tomorrow to get your school supplies and if you have any problems write a letter an owl is close by." Albus told me and then he vanished.
"Wow." Was all I could say. My mum said she will come with me and after an hour of arguing with the others we decided they will stay home because it will be to dangerous.
