CHAPTER 6).

SIRIUS POV:

It's been over 6 months since all this shit happened. I had come to America to be with my daughter Harriet and my grandson. I know she has her brothers with her, but I just worry about them. As the world went to shit, there was only one place I knew of that would be safe: The West Georgia Correctional Facility. When I got there, the prison had not looked that great. There had been a big hole in one of the walls.

The first thing that I did was rebuild the place. I erected strong black wards around the entire perimeter and got rid of Inferi inside. When I was younger, I had read much of my father's library and learned a lot. I wasn't sure if this had anything to do with dark wizards; I knew this: 'An Inferius (pl. Inferi) was a dead body, reanimated by a dark wizard's curse. They were similar. But intrinsically distinct from a zombie. Inferi were created through the magical branch of dark arts called Necromancy, the Art of Raising the Dead.

So as of right now, I think this whole mess was created by a dark wizard who had a tantrum.
First, I got rid of the Inferi outside of the prison and then inside. Then I checked if there were any survivors. Turned out the only ones left were a few prisoners named Axel, Oscar, Andrew, Tomas, and Big Tiny.

I really don't like any of them except Big Tiny.
Tomas really thought that he was the Top Dog. Well, think again!
It didn't take me long to get rid of them well, except Big Tiny, who stayed with me till the rest of the group arrived.

After a while, Arthur, Bill, Charlie and Lucius and Draco finally arrived. They reassured me that Snape and Minnie would be coming soon.
I bet you are thinking: Why are the Malfoys here? They are bad. Well, sorry, but they're good and are on Harriet's side.

We all made sure to bring enough food that would last at least 50 years or so, and with the help of magic, it would stay fresh.
Soon, more family and friends would join us.
Only a selected view knew where I was. Luckily, most people like Dumblefuck and Molly and the two youngest Weasleys did not know where I was. And they should be glad that they were not here because I certainly would kill them if they were.

I was looking through the kitchens when the wards went off. "Tiny, keep everyone together," was all I said as I went out to see what or who was trying to get past the wards.

It was Snape and Minnie, and I was so glad that they were finally here with us.
"Snape, Minnie, so glad that you have made it to us. Minnie, what is wrong. Why do you look so angry?" I asked her after greetings were over.

"Albus and Ronald are going to try and get Harriet back. Ronald is to marry her and get her pregnant. After the birth of the baby, kill her. I know Harriet already knows what they are up to but to hear it from their mouths was something else..." Minnie tells me.

We carried on talking more while I showed them around. Snape was happy that both Lucius and his godson Draco had made it.
The last thing I showed them was where they would be sleeping. Then I told Snape and Minerva to get some shut-eye after this long journey.

"Hey mate, are you ok there?" Tiny asked me after I joined him again. I looked over to him and gave a small smile.
"Yeah. Ok, thanks for asking. I just wish that Harriet would hurry up and get here. Plus, I feel like Dumbledore will try and keep looking for us, and when he does find us, I will kill him," I told him with a bitter tone.

HARRIET POV:

We could hear the metal cracking from the explosion. I was glad that we got out after the destruction of the CDC in time. Now we are on the motorway, and we had no choice but to stop as Dale was having problems with his own RV.

"We need to look for water and some supplies," Rick says to us. I knew Rick was right. But I got the feeling that we should not be on the motorway out in the open.
"Rick, I really don't like this," I said. Rick placates me that it's gonna be ok and that we won't be here that long.

So, Dale and Daryl are trying to fix the RV while Rick and Merle are looking for weapons. The kids and the rest of the group went to look for water and supplies. I made sure Carl was close to me, and Teddy was securely strapped to my front. Andrea and Amy were looking through some clothes they had found in an abandoned car, while Carol and Sophia were trying to look for new footwear for Sophia. I had found a couple of weapons. A Winchester rifle and a hand knife.

My name was being called, so I turned to the voice. It was Jim. I walked over to him, and as I got closer to him, I could see that he was smiling.
"Harriet, look what I found," Jim said happily to me. I looked at all the water Jim had found in the van and called for Fred and George to come over and shrink it. But before they could do this, I needed to get Jim out of the way. Jim surprised me there by saying: "Don't worry, I saw you doing magic at the CDC. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone."
I was just happy that Jim didn't think I was a freak.

"Carl and Sophia, you need to have a nice drink," I called the kids over.
"Ok, take a breath. Don't drink too fast, or you will get sick," I said to the kids. I smiled at them both.

Soon Teddy would wake up for something to eat. I think it is time to try my little bug on solid food. I had made sure to look for baby food and put them under a preserve charm to keep them safe to eat. Most of the time, I was the one that made the food for the kids.

Once I made sure that the kids had a good drink, I told Sophia to go and stay close to her mother. I also made sure that Carl was beside me. Teddy was fast asleep strapped to my front.

I left Jim with my brothers while the kids and I searched the cars. Suddenly, I felt like something was looking at me. Just as I turned to look at the group, I could see Dale waving his hand in the air. He urgently signalled us to hide, as there was a herd of geeks walking this way, and they were very close.

The first thing that I did was run over to Rick and hide under our own RV. I put a calming charm on both Carl and Teddy to try and keep them both quiet.

I tried to do the same with Carol and Sophia, but they were just too far from me. I just hoped that my brothers would keep them both safe. I could see them under Dales RV. But I couldn't see Amy or Andrea. I hoped they were ok.

Jim and Theodore were also under a car, but I couldn't see Everyone. I grasped Rick's hand so hard that I almost broke some bones. "It's going to be ok, my love," Rick whispers in my ear. I could only give a soft smile. If I had tried to speak, I would have broken down.

It was quiet after all the geeks had left.
So very slowly, Rick clawed out from under the RV. Before I could come out, I heard Carol screaming for Sophia. I scrambled out from under the RV and searched for my uncle Merle and called him over to me.
"You ok little moon," he asked.
"Yeah! Please can you look after Teddy and Carl while I go and check on Carol?" I asked. He told me that he would watch them both. I thanked him and went over to Carol.

I felt sorry for what she was going through. I just knew that I needed to find her and get her back into her mother's arms. "Carol, look at me, please," I softly say. "I will do everything possible to find Sophia. Now go sit with my uncles," I reassured her. She tried to go with me, but I just couldn't take her with me. It was too dangerous.

After making sure that Carol was with my uncles, I walked over to Rick. "Let's split up. I have my ways to find her, and you have yours. Will meet back here in 1 hour."
He agreed, and I kissed him. I placed a kiss on Teddy's and Carl's forehead and went into the forest. I made sure I was out of sight before I pulled out my want and whispered: "Point me to Sophia."
I made my way to where it was telling me she was, only to find that she was too deep in the woods. I would have to track her the old fashion way.

An hour later, I could hear soft crying. Turning to where the crying was coming from, I found Sophia scared and hiding behind a fallen tree. "Sophia, it is ok. It's me, Harriet," I tried to reassure her. She ran crying into my arms. I calmed her down, and we were about to go back to the group, but suddenly heard a loud gunshot in the distance.

RICK'S POV:

Watching Harriet walk into the woods on her own made me unhappy, but I knew that she could look after herself. I look around to search for Carl and Teddy and found them with Merle. I walked over to him and told him that I would be heading out to search for Sophia. He told me that he would come with me.

I needed the kids safe and I knew that Fred and George were busy helping to get Dales RV working again, so I asked Daryl to watch them. "Are you sure that you don't mind?" I asked him. "Of course not, they are both family to me. Just make sure that you don't get hurt, or else Harriet would kill you, Rick," Daryl says to me. "Both of you be good, and I won't be long," I told them. I kissed the kids goodbye on the forehead. I knew that Carl wanted to come with me, but I needed him safe.

Before Merle and I were about to go, Jim walked over to us and said he would come with us. I didn't mind as it was better to have more looking for Sophia. So Merle, Jim, and I went looking for Sophia as well. I was starting to get really angry that we had not found her yet. I just hoped that Harriet had a better time.
Suddenly right in front of us, a geek appeared, and it had fresh blood around its mouth.
"Rick, we could open it up and see what it had eaten," offers Merle.
"That, Merle, is a dam good idea," I agree.

I watched as Merle cut open its stomach, and the smell was so bad that I wanted to hurl. "No, only rot. This thing has only eaten animals." Well, I was glad to learn that Sophia is still alive.

We walked further into the woods till Jim stopped and told us to look behind the tree on our left side to find a deer standing there. It was a beautiful thing to see. I could see the sheer happiness on Jim's face at seeing the deer. Jim got closer, and the deer only stood there and watched. Suddenly it sprinted away, as a gunshot disturbed the silence. We watched as both the deer and Jim fell to the floor. Merle and I ran over to him. "Jim, stay awake. Can you do that for me?" I ask him softly.

I looked over to Merle, and I knew he was thinking the same thing as me. Jim was dying and needed help and fast. I could hear someone approaching, and I turned my gun on them.
"You did this! You shot him," he shouted angrily at this man.
"I swear I didn't see him there. I'm so sorry," the guy tries to tell us. I told him that Jim needed a doctor and fast.
"Come with me. I know a doctor that will be able to help," he tells us.
We had no choice but to follow him to this farm.

On the porch stood an older man that looked over at us. "Please, can you help him?" was all I could say.

"Well, I can try," the old man replied.

IN THE NEXT CHAPTER, WE WILL HAVE THE GREENES HELPING TO KEEP JIM ALIVE, AND THERE WILL BE AN OLD ENEMY OF HARRIET THAT TURN UP AT THE FARM.
