CHAPTER 4)

FRED POV:

Watching Harriet and Rick made me feel happy that she is finally happy. And I will make sure that it stays that way. Sure, Rick had told me he had an ex-wife who could become jealous, but I never thought she would become like a banshee. I really don't like her or Shane.

The way they look at her is really brought out my protective side. I know that my brother is feeling the same thing as me. That reminds me, I needed to talk to Merle. He has become very protective of Harriet and Teddy in the short time since he had learned that Har was his blood family. What I wouldn't all do to have Sirius here with us as well, to ensure Harriet was safe.

I know Sirius loves his daughter. I can still remember that day Harry told me that Sirrus had blood adopted her. She was so happy she had a dad. Sirius had sworn us all to secrecy, to never tell Albus.
And ever since Har had blood adopted baby Teddy, because Remus and Tonks were killed, Sirius became a grandfather to Teddy.

I was brought out of my thoughts when my name was being called.
"Fred. FRED!"
I look up at my brother. "Sorry I was lost in my thoughts," I replied to George.
"Fred, I really don't like the way that Lori woman Is looking at our sister. I have seen Shane looking at her like he wants to eat her. We need to make sure that they stay away from her," George tells me.

I told him that we needed to talk to her uncles and Rick. George agreed, so we both went to look for them. It didn't take us long to find Merle and Daryl, as they were just coming back from hunting. I walked over to them with George.

"Merle, Daryl can we talk to you both for a second," I called out to them.
"What can we do for ya?" asked Merle.
I made sure that no one was listening before I started to speak. "Listen, I need you to please keep a close eye on both Lori and Shane. Lori has been giving Har nasty and dirty looks. Shane is looking at her, like he wants to eat her," I told them both. I could see the angry looks on their faces.

"Don't you worry, old Merle and his baby bro will make sure that they don't go anywhere near Harriet or Teddy. I will skin them both, then feed them to the walkers," reassured Merle.
"I will also be talking to Rick," I told them. They both agreed and went to start sorting the meat out. I knew that we would also have to tell Harriet. We knew that she hates it when you keep things from her.

Both Har and Rick were in the RV, so I walked over to talk to them. George is keeping an eye on Shane and Lori, meanwhile.
"Har, Rick, I need to talk to you both. I have already spoken to your uncles about this as well, Har, " I began.
"Ok, Fred, what is it that you need to talk about? Is everything ok?" Harriet asked.

I began to tell them everything. That I did not like it when Shane and Lori were around Teddy. And that the way Shane looks at her gave me the creeps. I could tell this made Rick especially angry.

"Shane better keeps away from you and Teddy. I don't even like him near Carl. Thank you for telling us, Fred." Rick thanks me.
"Fred, don't worry. We are not going to be staying there long. We are going to make a stop by the CDC, then we will go to dad," Harriet reassures me. I pulled her into a warm hug and then left to go and sit with George and help both Merle and Daryl.

HARRIET POV:

I can't stand an angry Lori. It's not like I have done anything to her.
Rick and I are talking in the RV, Teddy in my arms. I walk over to Teddy's room to place him in his crib, then I pant a kiss on his forehead. Then I go to the fridge and grab a beer for Rick and a soda for me. Then I sit down next to him on the couch.

"You ok, Harriet? Thank you for the beer, love," Rick thanks me.
"Yes, I'm just missing my dad. I just want to go to him right away, but I know that I will find him at the prison, he told my brothers and me about," I replied to Rick.

We sat there, cuddled into each other's arms, as I suddenly heard Fred calling Rick and me.
"Har, Rick, I need to talk to you. I have already spoken to your uncles, Har," George says to us both.
"Ok, what is it that you need to talk about? Is everything ok?" I ask them.

He told us everything that Shane and Lori were up to, and yes, it made me so fucking angry. He told us also about what he and George had talked about with my uncle.
"Shane better keeps away from you and Teddy. I actually do not like him near Carl as well. Thank you for telling us, Fred," says Rick. We thank him for telling us.

"Fred, don't worry, we are not going to be staying that long. We are going to make a stop by the CDC, then we will go to dad," I told Fred. George pulls me into a warm hug before they went away.

"I just can't believe them, Harriet. They are just pissing me off more and more," confides Rick in me.
"I'm used to people like that. My old headmaster Dumbledore is not who he seems, but I'm always one step ahead of him. He doesn't know that I have a mate," I told him. Dumblefuck really will wish that he never meet me when I'm finished with him.

The door to the RV opened, and standing there was uncle Daryl. "Little niece, come on, food is about ready. Oh, and when you do leave, myself and my brother are coming with you," said Uncle Daryl to me.

Once he left, I turned to Rick and kissed him. "Come, Rick, let's go eat something, then we can come back. I really don't want to stay near Shane and Lori longer than necessary," I explained to Rick.

"Mmmm! I agree with you. I want to cuddle up to you later when our boys are sleeping," Rick says. It made my heart swell to hear Rick saying our boys. I know that Teddy already loves Rick and Carl just as much as I do.

Rick opened the door for me, and we both went to sit by my uncles and brothers. The look Lori gave me was laced with pure jealousy.
Tonight, we had squirrels and vegetables as our meal, which I had cooked earlier that day. It was nice and quiet tonight, but I had a feeling that it would not last long.

"Rick, come and sit by me, please. I am your wife, Carl, and you should come and sit beside me," demands Lori from Rick.
Both Rick and Carl did not even attempt to move.
"No, thank you, Lori. Go sit with your boyfriend, Shane. Oh, and Lori, I will only say this one more time we are not married anymore," Rick tells his ex-wife. I can tell that Lori is getting angry. She turns and says something to Shane.

"Harriet, would you like to come and sit next to me and have a nice chat?" Shane asks me. How he looks at me makes me want to throw up everything I just ate.

"Why would I want to sit with you when I am happy where I am, so no, thank you. You got your girlfriend there beside you. Chat with her," I reply. Just before Lori could say anything, we all heard a scream.

I look up and see a walker is in the process of trying to bite Amy. I quickly pulled out my sword, which I plunged right into its brain.
"Thank you for saving me, Harriet," thanks me Amy.
"Go into my RV, and stay there. It will be safe in there, and please keep my son safe," I tell her. Andrea also thankes me for saving her sister.

There were still so many walkers that I had to grab my gun. It didn't take us long to kill the walkers. Sadly a few of the campers did not make it. Uncle Daryl and Merle were burning the bodies of the walkers, as well as the ones that got killed.

I knew that we could no longer stay here. We had to go. I looked to where Rick was and walked over to him. "Rick, we can't stay here no longer. I won't risk my family," I told him.
"I know, love, I too agree with you. It's time to go to the CDC, then we find your dad," agreed Rick.

Shane had heard us and demanded that we go to the army base, but it was just too far away. "Shane, it is too far to go. But if you want to go, then you can go," Rick tells him.
"So, you're just going to follow her. I'm your best friend, please, Rick," says Shane accusingly.

"Shane is right, Rick, let's just go with Shane ok?" Lori says while trying to kiss him. I watch as Rick pushes away from her.

"What the fuck do you think you are doing, Lori? I'm not your anything! No, I'm going with Harriet and her family. And Carl will be with me," said Rick angrily to Lori. Rick didn't give her a chance to say anything back to me.

"You ok, Rick?" I ask him softly.
"I'm ok, love. It's just Shane and Lori, but that is just what they are always like. Come on, love, let's get moving," Rick says. He pulls me in for a kiss in front of Lori, and I can hear her grumbling. I told him that it is a hard life, but we would do whatever would get us through this.

"Harriet, may we please speak to you?" asked Dale. I nod my head and slowly walk over to him.
"Ok, what would you like to talk about," I replied.
"Please, we want to come with you. We that are Andrea and Amy, as well as Carol and Sophie, Jim, Glenn and myself," Dale asks. They are good people, and I knew they weren't safe with Shane or Lori.

"Of course, you can come with us. Make sure you got everything you need and put it in your vehicles. We are leaving in 30 minutes," I told them all.

I left them to sort their things out when suddenly I got pulled aside by Lori. "You are a slut, who takes things that are not yours. You will never get Rick. He loves me..." she starts to rant, but I silence her.
"Listen to me, you silly bitch! Rick is mine, and he will never be yours ever again," I shouted at her.

"What would he want with a little bitch like you? He wants me! He is just angry and confused, that's all," Lori shouts as she slaps me across the face.

That's it! I have had enough of that fuck bitch. I grabbed her by the hair and dragged her to Shane. "Keep your bitch on a leash," I told Shane.
I started to turn as I heard Rick shouting my name and telling me to duck out of the way. I did, and as I turned, I saw Shane had a gun pointed at me. Shane didn't even get a chance to pull the trigger, as Rick was instantly on him and beating the crap out of him.

You could hear Lori begging Rick to stop, but he continued to punch him again.
"You ever pull a gun on Harriet again, and I will kill you!" screams Rick angrily at Shane.
Rick walks over to me to ask if I was ok and pulls me close to him. "I am fine. Thank you for saving me, Rick. You are my knight in shining armor," I whispered to him.

My uncles came to make sure I was ok, as did my brothers. I told them all that it was time to go.

Next chapter is already done just having my beta check it over.
