1 - 6: Promenade
Yawning as they walked down the street, Syn and Alexa were rounding the corner to meet their destination, up much earlier than they'd like after two days of not being able to rest.
"Ah, there he... is..." Syn noticed, but saw two other figures standing beside him.
Agoti caught sight of the blue internet sensation and stood up from the car he was leaning on.
"That's him?" A red figure of deathly similar build to Agoti asked with disappointment.
Syn waved happily as he walked up to them, and the red variant of the entity chuckled.
"Much shorter in person—"
Syn snapped his fingers and released a pressure that shocked those beside Agoti, giving an unamused stare.
The two glared back in shock, but Agoti put his hand up.
"Listen, kid. This is serious. I need you to at least prove you can..." Agoti put air quotes around: "keep up."
"I'm sure you've seen I can handle anything." Syn replied with a smirk.
"Yeah, yeah... anyway, my support lies within Solazar's judgement of you." Agoti stated, prompting the blue flaring figure to step forward.
They silently analyzed Syn before even speaking. Syn noticed that each of the three where at least two or three feet taller than him.
In a grey blazer, white dress shirt, and yellow tie, Solazar adjusted his glasses and nodded towards Syn.
"My name is Solazar. I am Agoti's manager. I've seen your current feats and I must say it is a pleasure to meet you. However there even responsibilities I cannot escape. So I must ask..." Solazar made a mic crackle from flames, making Syn smirk.
"Are you ready?"

"I stand corrected! This dude can rock!" Aldyrx, Agoti's older brother, shouted with a grin.
"Yeah, he's something alright." Agoti chuckled.
"That good? Loved the song by the way." Syn said with smile.
"Very well. It seems the internet's faith in you isn't misplaced." Solazar responded.
"Faith?" Alexa asked.
"Yeah, it's not just that people interested in your fights, man. They're seeing you as some sort of hero. You've been taking down and overcoming that reps in the city with relation to Dearest. While it paints you in a good light, that's bad attention in this city..." Agoti explained.
"Oh... yeah, I haven't had my phone since I fell into the void, so I had no clue." Syn commented.
"I believe we should depart. While we are ahead of schedule, rush hour is every hour in this city...and," Solazar began.
"Agoti, stop sitting on the car!"
•
"...They've made their move. Now I'll make mine." A familiar demon laughed, looking at a black sedan cruising down forty-third.
"All units." He said into a speaker.
•
Sitting in the back seat, between Alexa and Agoti, Syn stared forward in silence.
'A hero... I'm so far from that. I'm literally just trying to survive.' Syn thought in confusion. 'Just how much of a figure is this Dearest guy, her dad...'
Syn suddenly shot his head around.
"Uh... do you guys hear that?" He asked.
Solazar, the driver, looked in the rear view mirror at Syn's face of confusion.
"Nope." Agoti shrugged. "Nothing here." Aldryx added. "Nothing out of the ordinary." Alexa added as well.
She continued, "What does it sound like?"
Syn held a finger up to his lips as Solazar stopped at a red light.
One second.
Two seconds.
Three seconds.
"Who's car is this?" Syn asked with a serious expression.
"Well, I frequent it, but it's borrowed—" Solazar answered.
"Then tell who ever it is, I'm sorry— everyone, get down!" Syn shouted.
Ripping off his seatbelt, he launched his feet off the center console, crashing through the back window and into the air after vaulting off the trunk.
Spinning around to face the incoming missile, Syn clapped his hands and made it explode in the opposite direction, the flames leaving the surrounding barely scathed excluding the raining fire from above.
Syn landed back on the trunk and watched the traffic light turn green.
"DRIVE!" He shouted urgently.
Taking off with maximum acceleration, Solazar stepped on the gas roughly, making the car jerk forward just before bullets could be layed into it.
Now flying down the street, swerving through the cars abiding by the law, Syn snapped his hands repeatedly to try and deflect the bullets being shot from down the street. He could vaguely make out atvs, Jeeps, and several if not a dozen tanks.
"What in the hell is going?!" Aldryx shouted. Alexa looked back and saw what Syn was trying to combat, and realized even she didn't know.
"That's some heavy artillery for one guy!" Agoti said in shock.
"It's Dearest. I assume he knows we're trying to get him to Nikusa..." Solazar guessed. "Aww fuck. That ain't good. Should I help—"
"No." Solazar answered bluntly, making Alexa and Agoti scowl a bit.
Syn watched as the vehicles plowed and destroyed the unfortunate cars too late to get out of there path, and grew furious at the lack of regard for innocent lives.
Sending two quick snaps at enclosing atvs, the tires were ripped to shreds, sending them skidding against the pavement, and those riding into the air.
"Hey, little dude, we're about to his traffic— we can't go around them!" Aldryx announced.
Syn peeked over the roof of the car and saw the jam down the street, making his quick thinking spark an idea. Poking his head inside the car, he smirked.
"Hope they have insurance." He said to Solazar, but he didn't mind the damages.
"Syn, what does that mean?!" Alexa asked with concern.
Syn lifted his body up with his hands, and then slammed his heels into street, making a shockwave powerful enough to send the car airborne with him in two, just barely dodging a rocket aimed at them.
Soaring through the air with Syn hanging from the back rim of the car, the passengers screamed in shock and fear as they flew over the traffic and further down the street.
As the car began to descend, Syn flipped under the car and placed his hands under it.
With slow pulses, the car began to fall at a much slower pace, letting Solazar take off at high speeds again as soon as they landed with a screech.
Syn held on to the rim of the car and planted his feet within the underbody, crawling his way back on top of the trunk.
"How close are we? With how they're acting that will only give us like two minutes." Syn asked.
"We'll be there within the minute!" Solazar replied, focusing on the road.
Syn leapt on to the roof and saw the "goth" building Agoti was talking about. It was the second tallest building in the city, but the issue was that it was right across from Dearest's HQ, a much more vibrant building with direct advertising.
"The source of my problems..." Syn whispered, almost forgetting to hold on to the car.
Solazar swerved around a pickup truck forgetting to signal for a right hand turn, nearly crashing into the car in the left lane.
Syn was unfortunately still thrown off the side, rolling on to the car on their left and into the opposite lane of traffic.
"Oh... no..." Solazar said with obvious guilt, everyone else watching in shock was Syn was being carried back the other way.
"I got it!" Agoti shouted, breaking the glass of his window and throwing his arm out in hopes to retrieve Syn.
•
Syn continued to get cars slammed into his side and head, flying down the opposite end of traffic.
Syn tried to do something about it, but couldn't without damaging the people in the cars.
Curling up as he crashed into another, he gasped for air as the grill hit his back and threw him into the air.
Luckily, Agoti's hand snatched his hoodie and collar, yanking him back down the road just as a grenade blew up the intersection he was previously at.
The armed men began to gain on them after the unfortunate loss of Syn, and now new their location due to Agoti's arm.
Opening fire at the slithering target, Syn spun out his mic and began to beatbox the bullets away, small distortions of air and almost light becoming visible to the naked eye.
The bullets were all either returned to their sender's vehicles or skyward, and just Agoti's arm closed back in on the car, Syn swung out of his grip and back on to the trunk, seeing that the opposing forces had only grew in size.
Not only that, they had units down parallel streets, trying to close in on them.
"Are you okay?!" Alexa asked.
"Could be better. Just would hate to get blood on their welcome mat..." Syn joked, putting his mic away.
"We're here! Hurr—" Solazar was cut off as a rocket was fired from in front of them, the group not even noticing that the road was stopped up ahead.
Syn appeared on the hood of the car and snapped his right hand downward.
A thin slice of air cut through the rocket, letting the flames blaze past the car, but the heat surge through them.
"Damn. This kid's good. I see why the hit is so expensive." He heard someone say, then laugh in a gruff voice.
After slamming on the breaks, the group saw what seemed to be the other half of the opposition officially cornering them.
Syn readied to fight an entire army, clenching his fists as the clips of every gun was locked and loaded.
"What the hell do we do against that?!" Aldryx shouted. "Even I don't think we come out unscathed." Solazar muttered.
"Alexa. Get you and them out of here, I can make it from here." Syn ordered.
Alexa was about to do as he asked, knowing full well it'd be better for him to just push through than leave them in the crossfire. What stopped her however, was when the entire frontline of the troops in front of them were sprayed down by someone else's fire.
The group looked at the top of a building and saw Pico blowing the smoke from the barrel of one of two uzis.
Just as the men were about to retaliate, a stream of fire blocked their view, and three tanks at their rear were detonated, blown to pieces.
The group turned their head again, and saw the same woman with lavender hair from the day before, and behind her a reluctant Tabi.
Syn had no time to speak as the men shouted in range and began opening fire at Syn.
About to defend himself, a familiar figure with black and red hair slid in front of him and swiped his hand, making the bullets deteriorate and crumbled before making impact.
A green glint came from the man's other hand, but it quickly disappeared.
"Wha..." Syn was baffled.
"Don't fucking stand there! Run!" Agoti shouted, rushing out of the car to assist with the others.
Syn rushed past the man who saved him and towards the army, hearing everyone who had his back rush to his aid.
Just as every piece of artillery was about to fire, Syn pulled out his mic and leapt in the air, before screaming at the top of his lungs.
A rupture of air burst violently from every weapon, making all self-destruct and implode from each form of sound emit from them.
Screams of pain and shock came from the men in black and white military outfits, stunning them long enough for Syn to rush forward and take out his first victim.
With a vigorous grunt, Syn slammed his foot into a soldier's neck, sending them crashing into a fire hydrant.
With the entire battle being an all out melee, the brawl began when Syn was socked in his stomach.
Pico landed on their shoulders and popped a bullet in their head, kicking off and kneeing the next soldier in their head.
With the two about to be swarmed, Tabi mimicked Syn and snapped his fingers, detonated the circumference around the two, eliminating the dozen rushing them.
Syn rushed through the smoke and elbowed a soldier in his side, spinning behind them and uppercutting their chin.
With a damaged gun in hand, a soldier thrust the barrel at Syn's nose, but the man with black and red hair caught it, before punching away the assailant.
"The name is Shadow. Keep moving." He commented.
Syn nodded, lunging forward and throwing an invisible haymaker into a soldiers gut, the speed of his fist enough to send them crashing back into his comrades.
Dodging a kick to his hip, Syn jabbed the culprit's face, before weaving under their sluggish hook, leaping up, and sending a spinning kick to the back of their head.
Syn saw he was less than 10 meters from the building's front entrance now that all the tanks and vehicles exploded from his shout.
Sliding to his side, the lady with lavender hair caught a soldiers punch by wrapping her arms around it, before tossing him over her hip and kicking his back, making him fly into another soldier attempting to ambush Syn.
"Here you are in trouble again. My name is Blaze. I would like to continue this conversation after this is all said and done," She said with a smile, before grabbing his hood and swinging him around.
Using this sudden mobility to his advantage, Syn began kicking whoever who came close to the two, before Blaze sent him flying towards his destination.
Spinning like a ball, Syn yelled as he drop kicked a soldier into the glass door.
Unfortunately, the glass was sturdy— unfazed by the impact. Syn kicked the unconscious soldier away and tried to throw the doors open, but his arms were grabbed, and he felt two knives entire his thigh and slash his shoulder.
Luckily, Agoti punched the soldier on Syn's left, and Aldryx uppercut the one on his right, freeing him.
"Can't risk them catching him inside— you know what that means!" Aldryx shouted with a grin.
"Alley-oop!" Agoti shouted, grabbing Syn by his hoodie and jumping into the air.
Aldryx leapt after them, grabbing Agoti by the arm and spinning him around, before sending him launching upward.
Agoti copied Aldryx and began flipping backward, swinging Syn upward with a toothy smirk.
"Don't let us down!" Agoti shouted as Syn flew towards the top of the building.
Syn clenched his fists as he neared the top floor, and reeled back his hand.
With a snap, Syn crashed through the glass of the last floor, sliding into a long corridor with stained glass along it, as well as chiseled pillars.
Syn panted, one hand down on the floor, one back with his mic in hand, the blood pouring from his shoulder and thigh now evident by the red on pants, and the red dripping down his white shirt.
Across from him, a woman with white-hair with a pink underside gave a content smile, but when she saw the look in his eye as he stood up, she picked up a pink microphone from her desk.
"It's so nice to finally meet you! I've only heard good things." They began.
Syn spun his mic in his hand, ready to prove his worth, since desperate times called for desperate measures.
"I need help." Syn said bluntly.
"As do I. But... are you sure that's what you want? From me, of all people?" The woman asked.
"Agoti was right. I'm only but so fast... I either destroy against my better judgement, or aren't strong enough to settle disputes by myself." Syn said with a straight face.
"Ah, a man who can acknowledge, accept, and has the will to change his flaws. Refreshing. Then shall we?" The woman asked.
Syn nodded, watching as the woman stood up to reveal her incredibly overwhelming height of ten feet tall. Syn's eyes widened as he almost didn't reach her hips, but shook his head.
"Lets begin." Nikusa said with glee.
