I hear Police sirens.

I see officers rushing in and tackling him.

I smell the strong scent of cocaine.

I taste my strawberry bubblegum.

I touch my fathers favorite hat that he left behind.

I feel nothing.

   It's been two days since the freak out at the mall. Maddie keeps texting me, I ignore it. I don't want her to worry about me. I feel like a burden. To everyone.

   I have decided to use the weekend wisely and to take care of myself.

  After doing a load of laundry I go into the kitchen to eat some food. The problem is all I have is canned carrots that have literally been sitting in the pantry for forever. Well shittoki mushrooms I actually have to go to the store.

((Flashback))

"Where are my keys?!?!" Mom screamed.

"Ma, They're right here!" Tyler yelled.

"Thanks honey. Harmony you'll be ok here won't you? We're just going to the store for a bit." Mom stated.

"Yeah. I'll be fine."

"K. Love you sweetheart!" She said rushing out the door.

"Hey, Ty?" I say.

"Yeah?" He says harshly.

"Take care of mom and don't let her buy any liquor."

"Got it" and he rushed out the door.

I close my eyes. I try to feel the curves on the side walk that I have skated many, many times. I take a deep breath and jump. I open my eyes and land on the board smoothly and keep on rolling down the side walk.

   About 5 minutes later I arrive at Walmart. Yes, Walmart. I'm on a budget ok? I didn't make a list for the store because I don't really know what I need. This is the first time I've been shopping by myself. Other times I've been with Maddie or Tyler. Tyler...

((Flashback))

Knock.Knock.KNOCK.
   I turn my head to the door. I see a shadow of a man standing outside. Carefully I peak through the eyeglass. It's my neighbor, Officer Queen. I swing open the door.

   "Hey Officer Queen. What's up?" I ask.

  "Um. Uh... Something happened on Twill Road today." He said softly.

   "Cool. Is that all?" I urge.

  "No, um your moms black van crashed.... Tyler is...coma...Your Mom is.... hurt....Are you..."
It was all a blur. I couldn't see, hear, or feel anything. For the second time in my life I felt nothing.

I shiver at the thought of that day. Wait what cereal did mom always buy? Captin Crunch. I grab 3 boxes for good measure.

° BRING BRING BRRRIIINNGGG °

   I pick up my phone. "Hello, this is Harmony Greene. Who is this?"

   "Hello Harmony! This is Greenview Adult Disability Center. We have not recieved the payment for your mother this month. May I please talk to your guardian?"

Crud! "Um she isn't here right now can you leave me a call back number?"

  "Yes it is 123-456-7890"

  "Bye" I hung up the phone. I don't want to talk to my mom. I know that I love her but I can't bring myself to see her.

  ((Flashback))

"Officer Thank you for driving me to the hospital." I say trying to keep back tears.

"The room numbers are 705&713," he paused "I hope they are okay."

  "Thank you." I state while getting out of the car.

I run to the nearest elevator.

There is already a man in it but at this point I don't care what my crying face looks like I just want to see my brother. I press the 2nd floor button with my hands shaking. Tyler. Tyler. Is he going to be okay?

  The door closes and the happy elevator music starts to play. Tyler always used to mock elevator music. Why am I acting as if he's already dead? Tyler. Tyler. Tyler! I scream out in greif and crawl to the floor. Kicking and punching the speaker as if it was the only thing keeping me from Tyler. Tyler. Would it make a difference if I told him that I loved him before he got into this car wreck?

I hear the elevator door opening.

I see the man's arms restrain me.

I smell the strong antiseptic scent of the hospital.

I taste the blood pulsing in my mouth from biting it too hard.

I touch the arms of many security gaurds trying to put me on a gurney.

I feel nothing.
