Chapter 6 -The Bet and The Aftermatch-
A couple of months has passed since I join Beacon, and it's a bid of a mad house from time to time, and the special training that Ozpin mentioned, really consisted in a very different training method. Rogue helps me fighting against human opponents, Nickel helps me with training my aura and semblance, and lastly, Ozpin made a special setting on the simulator for me. It essentially is one Grimm creature that is fifty times stronger then usual.
It's brutal, but it's the only way for me to surpass my limits, and I enjoy it. I was training at the simulator on Grimm Eclipse mode. Right now, I was fighting against a King Taijitu, or one half of it.I quickly pulled out both scythes and run towards the last head, preparing myself to either decapitate it or impale it. I saw the giant snake trying to squash me and quickly back flip to dodge it.
"Impalement it is," I said to myself before striking both scythes into it's eyes.
"Round 20 finished. Do you wish to continue?" said the AI.
"No thanks," I said, changing my weapon to their gauntlet form.
"Nice show, (F/n)," said a female voice behind me.
I turn around and saw Yang leaning against the door frame.
"Hey bombshell. What are you doing here?" I asked to her.
"I actually wanted to talk to you," she said, walking towards me.
"Oh? Do you need something?" I asked curiously.
"I guess you can say that," she said in a suggestive manner.
I gave her a questionable look, knowing what she's getting at.
"Yang," I said in a serious and a slightly annoyed tone.
"Fine, I want to go on a date with you," she said.
"No thanks," I said bluntly.
"I knew you would say that, but I want to make a bet with you," she said, as a smirk started to form on her face.
"I'm listening..." I said, with a slight hint of doubt in my voice.
"I will fight the special mode that Ozpin designed for you and survive for five minutes. If I win, you're going on a date with me, if I lose, I'll do anything you want for a week. How does that sound?" she said with a smile.
"Do you have a gambling problem or something? That custom mode makes the Grimm fifty times stronger then normal. There are some bets that you just don't take," I said to her, looking as if she's insane.
"What's wrong, Masked Massacre? Cold feet?" Yang taunted me with her nickname.
"I'm more worried about your health. But... if you want to go do, go ahead. I won't be stopping you," I said, walking out of the arena.
Then it's on," she said walking towards the center of the arena.
I sat down and look at what the blonde bombshell is going to do. She summoned a Beowulf to fight. Now, normally those aren't to much of a problem, but given that is on my custom mode... this can end very badly.
The Beowulf quickly charged towards Yang, but she gave it an uppercut, sending flying upwards. Once the Grimm landed, it quickly recovered, like nothing happened to it. It quickly made it's way towards her again, and this time succeeded in charging to her, sending Yang flying around the arena.
"I warned you that this mode is brutal," I said to her.
"You say that and one minute has passed already," she said with a grin.
-Four minutes later-
She succeeded. She freaking succeeded. She was one point away for her aura to be in the red, but she succeeded.
"Looks like I won the bet," said Yang, between breaths.
"Remind me to never make a bet again," I said, in a slightly annoyed tone.
"Sour loser, are we?" she asked, tauntingly.
"I know that I'm not going to have a gambling problem in the future, that's for sure," I responded.
"Come on, cheer up. I'm sure we're going to have fun. Now, if you excuse me, I'm going to rest up a bit. See you tomorrow!" she said, walking away from the simulator.
I stood there, frozen for a moment.
"What the Hell am I going to do now!?" I asked myself out loud.
I started to make my way towards my dorm. I need to calm down and at the moment, Echo can help me with that now. Once I enter, Echo made it's way toward me. I look around the room, and saw Rogue lying on his bed listening to music and Nickel at his desk, busy as usual.
"Hey (F/n). Are you alright? You seem kind of troubled," said Rogue.
"Well... Yang made a bet with me and I lost. I know now that I won't make beds anymore," I responded.
"Oh, boy. What was the bet? I know that Yang can do some mean things if she wants," I said Nickel.
"She wants to go on a date with me. And you guys know the problem there,"I said to them.
"Yeah, secluded from humanity for years. Need some tips?" said Rogue.
"I would appreciate that," I responded.
-The next day-
'I know that I'm regretting this, but a bet is a bet. I know that I'm not going to that again,' I to myself as I go to RWBY's room.
I knocked on their door and waited patiently for Yang to come out. But instead of Yang, I saw Blake open the door.
"Hey,(F/n). Do you need something?" she asked calmly.
"No, but I do wish to see Yang. Lost a bet to her," I responded.
"Yikes, well... I wish you good luck with her," she said, stepping away from the door, revealing Yang on her bunk bed.
"Hey there, cutie. Ready to go?" Yang asked.
"As ready as I ever be," I said, my voice full of regret.
"Come on, I just know the place where we can enjoy, or me at least," she said, jumping off from her bed and walking towards me.
I just roll my eyes, 'This is going to be a long day.'
"Where are we going?" I asked her.
"We're going to Junior's," she said, leading towards the garage.
"Who's Junior?" I asked, following her.
-Junior's Bar-
"Was that really necessary?" I asked to Yang, looking at the knocked out guards at the entrance.
"What? I like to make an entrance," she said walking in the bar.
The moment we entered, the loud music blew me away, and all people that were inside pointed their guns to Yang. She seams unfazed my all the guns, and so did I, really. As long as they don't attack me, I won't attack them.
"Weapons down, everyone!" said a man in a suit.
"Blonde, what do you want?" he said in an annoyed tone.
"Relax. I just came with a friend for a drink," she said, walking towards the bar.
"Your usual, I presume?" he asked.
"Yep, one Strawberry Sunrise," she said, with a smile.
"You come here often?" I asked Yang.
"Somewhat. I usually come here when I want info, but tonight I just want to go out on a date with you," she responded.
"I can already tell that this is not my cup of tee, but I do keep my promises," I said, taking seat next to her.
"That's something I like about you," said Yang with a smile.
"What do you mean?" I asked, curiously.
The moment I asked that, I saw Yang blushing.
"Well, you see... I had my eye on you for a while, and I wanted to go on a date with you. But I knew you wouldn't agree," she explained.
"So, you risked your well being to go out with me," I said, finishing her sentence.
"You can say that, yeah," she commented.
"You are aware that I'm still not used to socialize with people. Let alone being in a relationship," I said taking, sip from my water bottle.
"And I want to help you with that. Show you that the world isn't as cold as it looks like," she said with a kind smile.
"Yang, I may have been isolated from humanity, but I'm not that antisocial. It just take some time for me," I explained.
"Well, maybe I can help with that," she said, her face leaning closer to mine.
I started to lean in too and closed my eyes. The moment our lips came in contact, I felt my heart racing. After a minute, we separate.
"Wow," I managed to say.
"Wow, indeed. You're quite a good kisser, if I say so myself," she said, with a smirk.
-Few hours later, back at Beacon-
I was helping Yang to get to her dorm, because she had one too many drinks. Thanks Oum nothing bad happened in the club, because I know what Yang is capable of. Especially from yesterday's bet.
"Thanks for *hic* for carrying me back. *hic*," she said drunkenly.
"No problem. I had a lot more fun then I though," I said to her.
"I *hic* I know something that *hic* will make it unfor- *hic* unforgettable," she said with a hint of lust in her eyes.
"Better not. And I don't know much about alcohol, but I know that you might feel ill in the morning," I said opening the door to her door.
"Come on, dear hic* Don't be a party pooper," she said, trying to drag me to her bed.
"Sorry, but I won't do anything that I'm going to regret tomorrow," I said, walking out of her dorm.
"Goodnight, Yang." I said walking toward my dorm.
'Yeez, what a night. And apparently got a girlfriend now. How will this turn out for me and what will this do for my future?'
