"Chaliye Dev." Amarsri said to Srinav who was almost frozen in spot, staring at Mata Sati.

"Meri Mata..." Srinav sobbed.

"Khud ko sambhaliye dev, hum yaha ek shan aur nahi rukenge." Amarsri said.

"Aap kahi nahi jaa sakti !" Daksh yelled coming in front of them.

"Aapne mujhe vachan diya tha ki jab tak yagya samapt nahi hoga aap yeh sthan chodke nahi jayengi ! Aur mai yeh yagya poorn karke hi rahunga !" Daksh said.

"Daksh Jab swayam ka ghar jal raha ho toh yagya se kuch labh nahi hota !" Amarsri said.

"Aapne mujhe vachan diya tha ki yagya mai vighna dalne wale se meri Raksha karengi ! Sabhi devtao ne mujhe yeh vachan diya tha ! Aap sabhi ko kaal se meri raksha karni hi padegi." Daksh said.

"Kaal se tumhari raksha hum kya kare jab swayam Mahakaal ki drishti tum par hai Daksh ?" Amarsri said.

"Iss dur-buddhi ko samjhane se koi labh nahi devi, humne aaj Mahadev ka apmaan saha aur Devi Adi-shakti ko apne aakho ke samne deh tyagte dekha. Iss paap ka prayeschit toh apne praano se dena padega hume." Indradev said.

"Bhul thi humari jo ek ahankari ko vachan de baithe !" Agnidev said.

Suddenly a loud roar shook everyone, all went outside and gulped seeing a dark figure riding on a bull, with blood-lust eyes and with skulls around his neck.

"Yeh kaun hai ?" Daksh asked.

"Mahadev ke Rudra-avtar, jiske chaal se dharti aur Gagan dono kaapti hai. Paapiyo ke sakshat kaal, Veerbhadra." Amarsri said.

"Mahadev ne inhe tumhare praan lene hetu bheja hai. Kshama maang lo unse Daksh toh jeevan-daan abhi bhi sambhav hai." Srinav said.

"Kshama aur uss Shiv se kada bhi nahi !! NARAYAN ! MERE PRABHU NARAYAN !!" Daksh called and Narayan appeared in front of them.

"Mere prabhu ! Mere Aradhya Narayan ! Iss Veerbhadra se meri Raksha kijiye !" Daksh said.

Narayan sighed and summoned an army, the soldiers lunged towards Veerbhadra only to be slaughtered like animals by him.

The gods tried to attack Veerbhadra with their powers but failed, as nothing seemed to be working on him.

"Inhe parajit karna humare liye asambhav hai, kshama kijiye Prajapati Daksh kintu hum aapki raksha nahi kar sakte." Indradev said and disappeared with other gods.

"Yeh devta jab vachan rakh hi nahi sakte toh vachan dete kyu hai !? Aur Narayan aapki bhi sena Veerbhadra par kaam nahi kar rahi hai !?" Daksh exclaimed.

"Veerbhadra ke samne koi bhi sena nahi tik sakti." Narayan said.

"Aap chahte toh abhi tak apne Sudarshan Chakra se iska naash kar sakte the ! Aisa toh nahi Narayan ki aapko Shiv ka bhaye hai iss liye aap meri sahayata nahi kar rahe !?" Daksh accused.

"Murkh Daksh ! Sudarshan Chakra meri shakti ka pratik hai ! Aur Veerbhadra Mahadev ki rudra shakti ka pratik hai ! Aur agar dono shaktiya takra gayi toh pritvi kya sampoor akash Ganga ka vinash hojayega ! Aur tumhari murkhta ke karan mai sansaar ko khatre mai nahi daal sakta !" Narayan scolded.

"Aapne vachan diya tha meri raksha ka !" Daksh said.

"Tumhari raksha ka vachan diya tha, tumhare praano ki raksha ka nahi. Jeevan-daan chahte ho toh Mahadev ki sharan mai chale jao." Narayan said and vanished.

"Meri baat mano Daksh, Mahadev udaar hai unki sharan mai chale jao woh bade se bade paapiyo ko bhi kshama kar dete hai." Srinav said.

"KADA BHI NAHI ! Devi Amarsri ab aapko mere praano ki raksha karni padegi ! Ek behen ko apne bhai ke prano ki raksha karni padegi !" Daksh black mailed.

"Tum jaante bhi ho ki Veerbhadra mere Pita Mahadev ke Rudra-avtar hai, unse yudh karna arthat Mahadev se yudh karna ! Tum ek putri ko pita se yudh karne ke liye keh rahe ho !?" Amarsri said.

"Mai kuch nahi jaanta ! Aapko vachan ka palan karna hi hoga !" Daksh said.

Amarsri looked at Veerbhadra who was angrily approaching towards them, she took her fearsome form of Devi Yudh-Kaushala and then went towards Veerbhadra.

Veerbhadra looked at her, she is the daughter of Mahadev, he cannot attack her.

"Maarg se hat jayiye Devi." Veerbhadra said.

"Mai maarg se nahi hat sakti Veerbhadra, mai aapko Daksh tak pahuchne nahi de sakti." Amarsri said.

"Mai aap par prahar nahi kar sakta Devi." Veerbhadra said.

"Kshama kijiye Veerbhadra, Daksh ke praan mai swayam leleti kintu maine vachan diya hai." Amarsri said.

She summoned a divine rope and tied him in the bond. This was all seen by Mahadev from top of a hill.

"Vachanbadh hone ke karan tum adharm ka saath de rahi ho Amarsri. Kintu mujhe bhi Sati ka pratishod lena hai aur Daksh ko dand dena hai." Mahadev muttered, as he took out a lock from his hair and threw it on the ground.

"Mujhse yeh anarth na karaye Devi." Veerbhadra said trying to break-free.

Suddenly a loud roar was heard, Amarsri and Veerbhadra looked at the direction of the roar and saw none other than Bhadra-Kali, stomping towards the direction of Daksh.

"Nahi !" Amarsri muttered and ran towards Bhadra-Kali.

She quickly made her way in front of Bhadra-Kali, stopping her in her tracks. Amarsri raised her Trishul, she knew unlike Veerbhadra, Bhadra-Kali won't be hesitant to fight her.

Both the divine feminine got ready for a duel. Bhadra-Kali swinged her sword, Amarsri stopped it with the handle of her Trishul. Amarsri pushed the sword up and swinged the back of her Trishul but Bhadra-Kali jumped up. Bhadra-Kali then once again swinged her sword but Amarsri ducked.

As their weapons clashed and collided together, the energy released from that made the entire earth tremble.

Seeing they were busy in battle, Veerbhadra broke free from the divine bond. He roared as he ran towards Daksh.

Daksh summoned an army and ordered the soldiers to attack Veerbhadra, but the soldiers were beheaded by him. Daksh panicked seeing him, coming nearer and nearer by each moment.

"DEVI AMARSRI !" Daksh called restlessly.

Amarsri who was defending herself from Bhadra-Kali's attack looked at his direction and saw Veerbhadra going towards Daksh. Amarsri pushed Bhadra-Kali away and tried to run to Daksh but suddenly a rope binded her, forbidding her to move forward.

She was harshly pulled back, Amarsri looked back and saw none other than fuming Mahadev holding the end of the rope.

He didn't say anything but Amarsri made her trishul vanish and lowered her head, with so much anger in his eyes she was afraid to look at him. Yes she was afraid, just like all the gods, yakshas, gandharvas, humans were at the moment.

There inside Daksh entered the court running away from Veerbhadra, Prastuti and the sisters were mourning over Sati. Daksh approached Srinav to save himself.

"Meri Sahayata kijiye !" Daksh said.

"Ab tumhari Raksha keval Mahadev hi kar sakte hai, unki sharan mai chale jayo. Samay bhi kam hai." Srinav said. Daksh grunted.

A roar shook everyone in the court, as Veerbhadra walked in. Daksh backed away in fear as he fell near the yagya podium. Veerbhadra came towards him and kept his feet on Daksh's shoulders.

"NAHI JEEVAN-DAAN DO ! HEY MAHADEV JEEVAN-DAAN DE ! OM NAMAH SHIVAYE !" Daksh said.

Veerbhadra didn't paid a heed as he beheaded him with one fast swing of his sword. His head fell in the havan-kund. Veerbhadra then vanished in thin air.

Outside, Bhadra-Kali too vanished, Mahadev and Amarsri realized that Veerbhadra had done his work. Mahadev went inside the palace, unintentionally pulling Amarsri with him through the rope.

As he walked in and as saw Mata Sati's burning body, the rope around Amarsri loosened and fell down. Shreeshaktishwar made walked towards Amarsri.

Mahadev slowly made his way towards Mata Sati and fell on his knees, sobbing as he cradled her lifeless body.

Tears flooded everyone's eyes seeing the tragedy that happened in a matter of few hours.
