CHAPTER 106
Under the watchful eyes of Parshuram, Karn had blossomed, his skills honed to a razor's edge. Parshuram, impressed by Karn's dedication and his unwavering thirst for knowledge, had generously shared his vast knowledge of weaponry, imparting the secrets of celestial arts and the intricacies of divine weapons.
Karn, eager to prove himself worthy of his Guru's teachings, had dedicated himself wholeheartedly to his training. He practiced relentlessly, pushing his limits, striving for perfection in every aspect of his martial arts.
Parshuram, pleased with his progress, had begun to share with him the secrets of powerful weapons, each more potent than the last. Karn, in turn, showered Parshuram with unwavering devotion. He served the sage with utmost humility, anticipating his every need, ensuring his comfort, and diligently practicing the techniques taught to him.
As Karn's mastery grew, a ripple effect spread across the realms. Devtas, Gandharvas and Rakshasas were pleased with the young warrior.
The Devtas, observing Karn's transformation, felt a flicker of hope. They believed that with proper guidance, Karn could shed his wickedness, his ambition tempered by the wisdom imparted by Parshuram.
The Gandharvas, the celestial musicians, rejoiced at the prospect of witnessing the birth of a new generation of warriors, warriors of unparalleled skill and courage. They envisioned themselves composing epic ballads, singing praises of Karn's valor, his exploits echoing through the heavens.
However, it was the Rakshasas, who saw the truth. They observed Karn with a different kind of interest. They saw in him a kindred spirit, a warrior driven by ambition and a thirst for power. They knew that the seeds of wickedness, once sown, could never be truly eradicated. They rejoiced, knowing that Karn, with his newfound power, would become a formidable force, a disruptor of the divine order, a champion of chaos.
Right now, Parshuram was teaching Karn, a special divine weapon. With a grave expression, he began to demonstrate the astra, a weapon of immense power, passed down through generations of his lineage. Before Karn's very eyes, Parshuram willed the weapon into existence. It manifested as a swirling vortex of energy, a blinding white light that seemed to consume the surrounding air.
It was the infamous Bhargavastra, a weapon of immense power, capable of unleashing devastating destruction. Karn, his eyes wide with astonishment, beheld this awe-inspiring display of power. He had seen many weapons, but nothing compared to the Bhargavastra.
"Gaur se dekho Karn," Parshuram said, his voice grave. "Yeh astra samast sena ka naash ek baar mei kar sakta hai. Iss liye iska prayog bade dhyaan se karna, laparwahi se yadi iska prayog huya toh yeh tumhari shakti ko nasht kar dega."
Parshuram, after a moment, caused the weapon to vanish, leaving behind only a faint shimmer in the air.
"Ab mai tumhe Bhargavastra prakat karne ka mantra sikhayunga." He said, his voice deep and resonant, "Mere baad dohrao."
Karn, his mind reeling from the display of power, focused intently. Parshuram began to chant, his voice echoing through the stillness of the air. Karn, following his Guru's lead, repeated the mantra, his voice rising and falling in perfect synchronicity.
As he chanted, a tingling sensation spread through his body. He felt a surge of energy, a connection to a power beyond his comprehension. And then, as if summoned by his own voice, the Bhargavastra materialized before him, shimmering with an ethereal glow.
Karn, his breath catching in his throat, beheld the weapon, its power palpable, its beauty awe-inspiring. Bis eyes gleamed with ambition. This was definitely the most powerful weapon he had obtained till now. The Bhargavastra, with its blinding radiance and immense destructive power, was a force to be reckoned with. He felt a surge of exhilaration, a sense of power coursing through his veins.
He believed now that with the Bhargavastra in his arsenal, he was truly invincible. No warrior, no matter how skilled, could stand against him. With the Bhargavastra at his command, his power had increased exponentially. And he was confident that he would soon acquire the Brahmastra, the ultimate weapon, the weapon that would solidify his position as the most formidable warrior of his time.
Parshuram's voice, calm and measured, brought him back from his reverie. "Ab Bhargavastra ko wapas lene ki vidhi sikho."
Karn, his mind alert, focused intently on his Guru's instructions. Parshuram then proceeded to instruct Karn on how to withdraw the Bhargavastra. He guided him through a series of intricate mantras and complex visualizations, teaching him to channel his inner energy and retract the weapon back into his being.
Karn, with unwavering focus, followed his Guru's instructions. He concentrated deeply, channeling his inner energy, and slowly, methodically, he began to withdraw the Bhargavastra. With a final surge of will, he succeeded. The weapon, shimmering and pulsating, retracted back into his being, leaving behind only a faint trace of its presence.
Karn, his breath catching in his chest, was pleased. He envisioned himself, invincible, wielding the Brahmastra, crushing all opposition, surpassing Arjun, and finally claiming the title that had always eluded him – the greatest warrior of Aryavart. His ambition, once a simmering ember, now burned with an even fiercer intensity.

A/N
You know some people claim, that during Kurukshetra war when Karn uses Bhargavastra, Arjun runs away. Which is obviously FALSE.
Firstly, Karn doesn't use Bhargavastra on Arjun, he used it on the army of Panchalas. Secondly, Arjun admits he doesn't see point in retreating but Krishna says they need to go and see YUDHISHTHIR who was wounded. That's why Arjun leaves from the battle.
Also Krishna assumes that the use of Bhargavastra would exhaust Karn, why ? Most probably because he used it wrongly, on Panchala army who were obviously weaker in prowess than Karn.
As we always see with divine weapon, whether it's Dron, Mahadev, Indra or even Narad Muni, they always warn not to use it on humans or enemies who are inferior to you. And Karn is seen using it on normal Panchala soldiers.
