CHAPTER 64
Inside the dimly lit hut, King Vishrutavaan of Kosal sat regally on a simple mat, the sacred text resting in his hands. Dilip, with his wife Aarvi beside him, felt a mixture of surprise and confusion at the unexpected visit.
With a respectful tone, Dilip inquired, "Kya Avanti Kosal ke saath kisi prakaar ki sandhi kar raha hai ?"
"Nahi, Rajan. Mai yaha kisi rajnetik prayojan se nahi aya hu." Vishrutavaan said with a smile.
"Mahishmati ke Rajmahalo ko chhod, aap meri parnkutir mei aaye... Mai samjha nahi." Dilip said, his eyes betrayed a hint of curiosity and wariness, unsure of the king's intentions.
Vishrutavaan smilingly said, "Parnkutir ko hum Ram-vanshi Rajmahalo se kam nahi samajhte, Rajan."
"Aap baar baar mujhe 'Rajan' keh ke kyu sambodhit kar rahe hai ? Maharaj, mai abhi keval ek saadharan vanvasi hu." Dilip said, his mind racing with questions.
Vishrutavaan chuckled, "Kya vanvasi Raja nahi ban sakte ? Humare vanvasi purvaj toh chakravarti ban gaye the."
"Kintu mai Raja bana nahi hu." Dilip said and lowered his gaze down, a sigh escaped his lips, "Apna rajya chhod diya hai, dusra rajya samaksh hai kintu pata nahi uska punarsthapna kaise hoga.... Iss liye aap mujhe 'Rajan' na hi kahe."
Vishrutavaan's gaze became solemn as he replied, "Uske liye hi toh mai yaha aya hu."
With a sympathetic gaze, the king of Kosal, handed Haiheya the sacred text wrapped in an orange garment. Dilip's frown of confusion turned into a mix of curiosity and disbelief as he carefully unwrapped the ancient-looking text. The pages were yellowed with age, bearing intricate letters that spoke of centuries of knowledge and power. Dilip's gaze shifted from the text to Vishrutavaan, a silent question hanging between them.
"Surajya Samhita ?" Confusion clouded his eyes as he glanced from the text, which was considered the most prized heirloom of Kosal. Dilip couldn't help but ask, "Yeh toh.... Yeh toh Vishwavijayi Rameshwari dwara rachit granth hai.... Yeh aap mujhe kyu de rahe hai ?"
Vishrutavaan gave him a small smile, "Ek swapn mei Devi Rajkumari ne hi mujhe aapko yeh dene ka aadesh diya tha."
A profound silence enveloped the humble hut. Aarvi watched her husband intently, recognizing the turmoil within him.
"Iss granth mei Rajniti ka samast gyaan samaya hai. Rajkumari dwara rachit Surajya Samhita sadharan vyakti ko bhi Chakravarti Samrat bana sakti hai." Vishrutavaan said.
For a moment, Dilip remained still, his gaze shifting from Vishrutavaan to the text. The weight of the heirloom in his hands felt both daunting and exhilarating. As Dilip's fingers traced the intricate patterns on the cover, a sense of responsibility and destiny stirred within him. Could this be a sign from the gods ? Was destiny truly opening doors for him to reclaim a role he had long forsaken ?
"Rameshwari mujhe yeh granth kyu dena chaahti hai ?" Dilip's voice was barely over a whisper.
Vishrutavaan said, "Woh aapko Haiheya Samrat bante dekhna chaahti hai. Woh chaahti hai ki aapki khoyi huyi kirti aapko punah mile."
As he absorbed the words, Dilip realized that his destiny was intertwined with the legacy of kingship, and his ambitions need not perish in the forest.
"Mujh par aisi kripa kyu ?" Dilip asked.
Vishrutavaan smiled, "Prachin kaal se ek rishta hai unka aap dono se. Jo iss yug mei bhi saarthak hoga, jab woh aapke putri ke roop mei aayengi."
As those words left Kosal-naresh's lips, shock rippled through Dilip and Aarvi's beings, their eyes widening in disbelief and awe at the prophetic revelation. Aarvi clutched Dilip's hand tightly, her eyes mirroring his incredulity at the weight of destiny's hand in their lives.
She muttered, "R-Rameshwari.... Arthat Harihareshwari... Humari putri hogi ?"
"Ashcharyachakit na ho, Aryaa. Aap unke Vidyashree avatar ke Mata Pita bhi reh chuke hai. Ab unke aane wale avatar ka palan bhi aap hi karenge." Vishrutavaan said.
Shock and disbelief washed over Dilip and Aarvi as they exchanged a glance filled with eternal bliss and realization. The weight of destiny and legacy descended upon them, intertwining their lives with a purpose greater than themselves. Dilip felt a surge of ambition reignite within him.
He proclaimed, "Yadi Devi Amarsri ka avtaran humare yaha hoga.... Toh woh Rajmahal mei hoga, iss parnkutir mei nahi."
Dilip's determination to establish a kingdom for their daughter sparked a glimmer of his past ambition, leaving Aarvi reminiscing about the passionate and driven man she fell in love with.
Dilip turns to Vishrutavaan, his voice trembling with gratitude, "Aapka dhanyawad hum kaise kare, Maharaj ?"
The king of Kosal with a gentle smile said, "Sab niyati ke aadhin hai, Rajan. Mai toh keval ek madhyam hu, Paramatma ki leela mei. Iss liye aapse keval ek prathna kar sakta hu."
"Bataiye." Dilip said.
Vishrutavaan joined his hands and requested, "Jab devi ka prakatya aapke yaha ho jaaye, toh kripiya ek baar.... Keval ek baar unhe Ayodhya awashya laayiyega. Bas yahi ek iccha hai."
Dilip held Vishrutavaan's hands and smiled, "Awashya. Mai vachan deta hu."
