CHAPTER 63
The impeccable play of Samudra-manthan had gotten over. Shri Ram was very impressed and promised to give them their rewards in the royal court.
Right now Rameshwari was in her room, lying on the bed. After witnessing the union of Paramanandi and Vallabheshwar in the play, she couldn't sleep.
That scene kept playing on and on in her mind, her heart yearned to relive that moment again, the moment of union with Shreeshaktiswar.
A silly smile was plastered on her face, as she stared the intricately carved out ceiling of her room, while fiddling her fingers.
But she closed her eyes wanting to sleep, yet she couldn't because her mind was restless tonight. She sat straight up, knowing that what she desires will take time.
But neither her heart nor her mind was listening to her. A pout appeared on her lips as she went to balcony to soothe her restless mind.
Leaning on the railing, she looked up in the sky, only to see moon and several stars. Those glimmering orbs in the sky just fueled the desire of union once again.
A sigh left her lips, which were carried by the winds as a message to the one for whom it had come out.
In Shripuram, Prince Mrunmaye was in deep sleep. But when the winds that came from Ayodhya which brought the essence of someone special, brushed through his body, he woke up.
A smile appeared on his lips, feeling that essence and also that yearning message which it had brought. He sat up and looked at the window through which the winds entered his room.
"Ab toh jana padega." He muttered.
-----
The sun had arisen in the kingdom of Shripuram, Maharaj Ratnakar Sagar was in his room looking through some scrolls, about the possible kingdoms for trade alliance.
The kingdoms which the ministers had suggested were good and it was hard for Ratnakar Sagar to choose anyone but he had to give his decision today only.
Suddenly his son Mrunmaye entered the room.
"Pitashree, pranaam." He greeted.
"Kalyanamastu Mrun." Ratnakar Sagar smiled.
"Aap chintit kyu hai ?" Mrunmaye asked.
"Kisi ek rajya se hume vyapar sambandh sthapit karne hai. Kintu jo Rajyo ka sujhaav mantriyo ne diya hai, unme se koi ek chunna kathin hai." Ratnakar said.
"Mantrivaro ne kaunse Rajyo ka sujhaav diya hai ?" Mrunmaye asked.
"Kuru, Puru, Panchal aur Dasyu." Ratnakar said.
"Inme se kisi ek ko chunna toh dusro ke saath Shatruta karna huya Pitashree. Kyuki maine suna hai ki Puruo ne Dasyu ke durg tod unke Nagar ko luta tha aur Kuruo ka yudh Panchalo se sadev rehta hai. Ek samaye aisa tha ki inn Rajyo ke shatruta ke karan Saraswati, Yamuna aur Ganga mei keval shav beh rahe the" Mrunmaye said.
"Wahi toh vidambana hai putra. Kisi ek ko chunna dusre se shatruta mol lena huya. Kintu vyapar sambandh banana awashyak hai. Shatruta bhale ho kintu yeh sabhi Rajya samriddh hai." Ratnakar Sagar said with a sigh.
"Aap Kosal se kyu nahi sambandh banate ?" Mrunmaye suggested.
"Kosal ?" Ha. Maharaj Ram Chandra ke Kosal rajya se adhik samriddh koi anya rajya nahi hai iss samaye. Aur unki shatruta bhi kisi Rajya se nahi hai. Yeh toh ati uttam sujhaav diya tumne Mrun." Ratnakar Sagar smiled.
