CHAPTER 60

It was the evening of the play, the royal family was excitedly coming to great hall where the stage was set up for the Nat-Nati to perform.

Soon Rameshwari came to the hall, and saw that the high seat belonging to the king had an unoccupied seat beside.

And hence desiring to sit next to her father she went towards it but before she coul sit, Lakshman occupied the seat.

"Chachashree !" Rameshwari whined.

"Kya Rama ?" Lakshman asked with a smirk, feigning innocence.

"Chachashree, woh mera sthaan hai." Rameshwari said with pout.

"Priya bhatiji, tumhara naam toh nahi likha yaha." Lakshman said.

"Maharaj ki putri hone ke naate, unke paas ka daahina sthaan mera hai." Rameshwari said.

"Maharaj ke santaan toh samast praja hai. Aur praja mei hum bhi hai." Lakshman said.

"Mujhe Pitashree ke paas baithna hai, Chachashree." Rameshwari said.

"Mujhe bhi bhaiya ke paas baithna hai." Lakshman said.

Seeing their never ending banter, Urmila shook her head.

"Swami, kya hatt pakde hai aap ? Baithne dijiye." She said.

"Urmiley, tum sadev Rama ka hi paksh kyu leti ho ?" Lakshman asked.

"Kyu na lu ? Meri putri hai." Urmila said.

"Accha ? Toh apni putri ko apne paas bithalo. Kyuki mai nahi dene wala yeh sthaan." Lakshman said.

"Toh mai kaha baithu ?" Rameshwari asked with a pout.

"Woh dekho, Ram bhaiya ke aasan ke uss taraf Bharat bhaiya baithe hai. Tum unse sthaan maang lo." Lakshman said.

"Chachashree Bharat ko kyu kasht dena ? Aap majhle chacha hai na. Aap baithne dijiye mujhe." Rameshwari requested.

"Nahi." Lakshman shook his head.

Rameshwari pouted while the elder son of Sumitra supressed his laugh.

"Urmila chachi, mere paas baithne ko sthaan hi nahi hai." She said.

And the very next moment she was picked up from behind and found herself in the arms of her father.

"Ramey, tumhara sthaan meri goud mei hai." Shri Ram said or more like reminded.

Rameshwari chuckled as Shri Ram sat down on the high seat, placing her on his lap. She then turned her head towards Lakshman, and stuck her tongue out at him. The elder son of Soumitra narrowed his eyes at her.

Once everyone was finally seated, earthern lamps of stage were lit. Soon came the sutradhaar, the narrator to the stage.

"Narayan aur Mahadev ko kshat kshat naman ! Swagat hai aap sabhi yaha ! Ek romanchak yaatra par jaha hum kaal-chakra ko ghuma kar, Satyug mei jaayenge, uss samaye jab sansaar se Shree lupt ho gayi thi !" The sutradhaar said.

A/N

Sheshnag and Amarsri, a saga of never ending bickering.

It's true somethings never change, neither did it change in the scenario of Lakshman Rameshwari.... And spoiler alert.....

Nor will it change in the case of Krishneshwari Balram 😂😂
