CHAPTER 49

Shri Ram was trying to make his dear daughter talk to him, but she was too exhausted to even say a word. All she would do is hum at his voice.

Her eyes were sometimes closed, and sometimes half open but not even for a few moments. In such condition of unconsciousness, Shri Ram wasn't able to give her the medicines also.

But suddenly, he felt a divine aura around him. He turned to see a bright light, entering through the window into his room and taking a sagun form.

The form of none other than Adiyogi Mahadev, with dreadlocks adorned with moon on the head, ashes smeared on his lustrous body with ornaments of Rudraksh adorning them and the best among Nagas, Vasuki as his necklace.

He was carrying the terrifying Trishul in his hands but benevolent expression and charming smile on his face, which gave a sense of assurance.

Seeing his isht-dev in his Sagun glory, Shri Ram got on his knees and joined his hands. Tears automatically fell from his eyes, seeing the transcendentally beautiful form of Mahadev, the god of gods.

"Hey Parabrahm, hey sarva-swami, hey Umapati mera pranaam swikaar kare." Shri Ram said.

"Hey Trilokadhipati, uthiye aur apni chinta mujhe batayiye." Mahadev said.

"Aradhya-dev, aapse kya chhupa hai ? Aap toh sarvagya hai. Aap hi ne toh mujhe jagat ka sabse bada sukh diya hai ek putri ka Pita bana ke. Kintu aaj wahi putri ke swasthya bigadne ke karan mai atyant chinta mai hu. Meri antim asha aap hi hai." Shri Ram said.

Mahadev smiled and then looked at Rameshwari, who was lying on the bed with her eyes closed. He walked towards her and took a closer look at her figure.

He steadied his Trishul on the ground, and kept his hand over Rameshwari's forehead, which was extremely hot due to the fever. But his soothing touch lowered her body temperature.

Shri Ram could see her cheeks went to its actual colour and breathing became normal. He was elated seeing her open her eyes fully.

She looked at Shri Ram, who had a happy but teared expression on his face. Her eyes then fell on the mighty Trishul, standing with all its glory.

Rameshwari's gaze then fell on the Adidev himself. She sat up and got down from the bed, quickly touching the feet of Mahadev. He smiled caressing her face.

"Yashasvi bhava." He blessed.

"Aradhya-dev, hey Rameshwar, mai aapka dhanyawaad kaise karu ?" Shri Ram said.

Rameshwari looked at Shri Ram and then at Mahadev, who had a charming smile on his face.

"Mahadev, aapne toh mujhe chaaro oor se dhanya kar diya hai. Mere paas shabd nahi hai ki mai apna abhaar prakat kar saku." Shri Ram said.

"Mere aur aapke madhya, dhanywaad ki aupcharikta kabse aa gayi Shri Ram ? Mera man aap mei laga rehta hai aur aapka man mujhme. Aapki chinta ka abhaas mai kar sakta hu." Mahadev said.

Shri Ram smiled gratefully at him, and so did he. And as it was the time to leave, Mahadev reached out for his trishul but apparently it didn't come in his grasp.

He looked to side, and it wasn't there. Shri Ram too noticed it and frowned. Both of them looked around until their gaze fell on Rameshwari standing on the door step looking at the mischievously.

And to Shri Ram's utmost shock and Mahadev's pleasure, the trishul was in her hands, as she giggled and ran off.

"Ramey !" Shri Ram ran behind her while Mahadev followed behind with a smile on his face.

They both followed her into the royal garden, where she ran around and around the bushes holding the Trishul up in her hands while both Mahadev and Shri Ram chased her.

And who knows how Mahadev healed her, because not even Shri Ram was able to catch her today. The Adi-dev ran ahead while the Adi-purush ran just behind him.

"Ramey ! Ramey ! Putri woh khelne ki vastu nahi hai !" Shri Ram said.

Mahadev chuckled as both of them chased her around several bushes, but to the devta above this was a sight to panic. The universe-ending Trishul was in the hand of a four year old.

From Kailash, Mata Parvati laughed uncontrollably seeing the chase with her divine vision. It was ironic how the supreme gods who run the entire world are now running after a four year old.

"Putri Rameshwari, trishul lauta do." Mahadev said sweetly.

Rameshwari finally stopped and looked at him with a smile. Walking towards him and handing him the trishul. Shri Ram took a sigh of relief, but still he was happy that her daughter was back to her normal healthy self.

Mahadev was elated with this little game, so much that he picked her up in his arms. Taking the damroo that was tied to his trident, he played it to entertain her.

Rameshwari giggled hearing the beats of the damroo while Shri Ram was blissful.
