CHAPTER 133

Shri Ram entered his room after a long day of work. Finally all the work for Swayamvar had been completed as per proper accordances.

Although he had eagerly been waiting for her marriage to take place but now since since only a night was left before Akshay tritiya, a part of him couldn't believe that his daughter, his Ramey was all grown up.

He walked up to the golden idol of Devi Sita, a smile adorned his lips.

"Humari Ramey, itni badi kab ho gayi Sitey ?" He muttered.

Shri Ram eyes then fell on the sandook that was just kept beside, it was quite special to him as it had all the souvenirs of his daughter's childhood.

He opened the sandook, and the smile on his face widened. He took out a white garment, a chuckle left his lips.

"Sitey dekho, yeh woh vastra hai jisme Rameshwari lapeti huyi thi jab Mahadev ne use hume saupa tha." Shri Ram said holding the garment close to his heart as he looked at the idol of Devi Sita.

He then took out silken clothes, the very first ones that she had worn, they were neatly folded with jewellery she had worn in them, he even found the first pair of her footwear among them

Shri Ram then found the golden bowls and spoons which was used in her Annaprashan sanskar. He looked around more in the sandook and found a golden horse.

"Vibhishan ka diya huya Ashwa.... Smaran hai Sitey yeh khilona uske saamne rakh do toh kisi anya khilone se nahi khelti thi." He said enthusiastically.

He then found some papers which had alphabets and rough drawings of buildings that she used to make in her free time.

"Socha nahi tha ki bhavano ke chitra banane ke baad sampoorn nagaro ka sthapna kardegi. Pata hai Sitey, log toh Ramey ke dwara punah-sthapit Shravasti ko dusri Ayodhya kehte hai." He said.

Shri Ram then found a small wooden sword, a feeling of pride swept over him, it reminded him that his little Ramey, had conquered the entire earth for him.

As he looked around more and more things in the sandook, the eyes of Shri Ram moistened a little, seeing all the things he had kept from her childhood, the clothes, the jewelry, the papers, the toys, the wooden swords, small bows and arrows.

And now his daughter had outgrown all these things, oh how he wished to relive those days with her again, oh how he wished his wife was there in such a moment of his life, to share the happiness or to console him.

"Sitey, kaash tum yaha hoti...." He muttered with a sigh.

Luv Kush entered the room of Rameshwari as she had summoned them earlier. Seeing her they both smiled widely.

Her hair was being steamed with fragrant herbs, her hands and feet had already been adorned with beautiful designs of henna. And her skin seemed extremely radiant as a result of all special ubtan application since past few days.

Overall, she was gleaming in the bridal glow.

Seeing her brothers, Rameshwari smiled and grabbed a rectangular bundle, wrapped in a yellow cloth. She went towards the twins and gave it to them.

"Luv Kush, yeh mere gyaan ki dharovar hai. Surajya Samhita. Isme Raj-niti, Raj-tantra aur Raj-dharm ka sampoorn gyaan vyaapt hai. Ise sambhaal ke rakhna, kintu swayam tak seemit nahi, kyuki isko rachne ka mera udeshya hai aane wale Rajao, Maharajao aur Samrato ka maarg-darshan." Rameshwari said.

Luv Kush nodded with a smile and bowed to the text, touching it on their heads.

"Yeh granth tumhara aur tumhare bhaiyo ka bhi maarg-darshan karega, jab samaye aane par tum sab Raja banoge." Rameshwari said.

"Jiji, aapka yeh hrin hum kaise utaare ?" Luv asked.

"Hume aapki Guru-dakshina batayiye." Kush said.

"Meri Guru-dakshina bas itni hai ki tum bhavishya mei nyaaye aur dharm se shaashan karo." Rameshwari said with a smile.

"Jo aagya." The twins said.

A/N

This chapter gave me intense nostalgia.... Although only few months have passed for us... But it really felt like 20 years have passed ✨

Well that's the magic of a book, I suppose.
