Untitled Part 3

A blade of blue mana soared in the darkness of the dungeon as a figure dressed in black with light blue runes littering his clothes moved. A hood with the same color scheme with a helmet shoving a t-shaped visor glowing a soft light blue moved as the light around him left trails with each movement.

Following behind him was a mechanical construct with four dagger-like legs carrying sacks upon sacks of crystals. The blade of blue mana easily severed the monsters in his way as he carved through the hordes of monsters in front of him.

Several monsters erupted from the wall as the figure raised his blade. Several arcs of power appeared from his left hand, bouncing from each monster as it killed them, with some of them having their crystals destroyed. Soft pants escaped from the hooded figure as the helmet disappeared, revealing the face of Ren Cruz, his dark hair matted with sweat while his obsidian eyes glowed with determination.

Feeling that the dungeon had already had enough of trying to kill him for now, the young man's sword of mana disappeared, leaving the handle. Clipping it on his outfit's waist, the young opened his inventory button before reequipping the hooded helmet he wore.

'Good, I already hit my limit today, I should be able to go to the city in an hour or so,' Ren thought as he gathered the crystals by himself. 'Gamer's mind might be able to stave off a lot but I am still human... even if I am undead.'

Checking the sacks on his companion, the young man made sure that they were all secured before storing his weapon in his inventory, replacing it with a simple longsword, after all, no one should know his true capabilities.

'All of these should be enough to buy a place to live in, buy some equipment, and more,' The young man thought as he pressed his armor section of the inventory before changing his helmet to a winged forehead protector that covered his ears with a symbol appearing on his right cheek just below his eye. His dark armored robes were replaced with his Greenguard Knight armor set with his black and light blue accented clothes were replaced by a pair of sheaths.

Looking at his mechanical companion, the young man smiled as he continued on his way. 'Man, it sucks that except for my weapons, all my items are for cosmetic reasons only. No fair,' The young man thought as he remembered about his armors, capes, and helmets.

Sure, they looked cool but some of them are even way more detrimental than helpful.

After an hour or so of walking, the young man found himself at the entrance to the dungeon, carrying the sacks of spoils and crystals that he had gathered for... Oh, shit. It's already afternoon?!

'How long did I stay there?! Sure, I took some wrong turns and tripped at some things. But, I couldn't have possibly stayed there for several hours.' The young man thought with a frown as he sheathed his longsword and effortlessly carried his sacks on his back. Taking a back alley route toward the guild hall headquarters.

Sadly, in his decision to evade crowds, the young man took a wrong turn and found himself in a place that was not the guild hall. The young man paused as he saw a familiar woman.

"Hey, Eina!" Ren called out as he looked at the young woman that was his little brother's advisor.

"Ren! Where were you?! It's been- no, stay back!" The half-elf shouted just in time for him to notice that a monster was in the city.

"Am I drunk?" Ren asked himself as the young man looked at the flower-snake monster hybrid. Unsealing the eternal dragon seal, the young man managed to block a thorn in time but it sent him flying toward the half-elf.

"Ren!" Eina called out just as the young man twisted his body mid-air and landed in a crouch, using his left hand to stop himself from hitting the advisor.

"That was close..." Ren said with a sigh of relief before noticing something. He felt lighter than... His loot! The young undead's sack containing his loots, one of them, was on the ground, crushed and shattered.

"FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT!" The young undead roared out, as a wave of magic escaped his form. Acting on impulse, the young man's obsidian orbs focused on the monsters as a screen appeared in front of him. Picking the classes tab, the young man pressed the second best support class that he had.

Oh, it might not be his strongest but he was pissed enough that he was willing to torture those annoying pests.

Light bloomed from his form as the skills of his only rank 9 skill became available to him. The Lightmage class is a magical class focusing on support but not defenseless enough for him to rely on others. The problem is that it was a weaker version of its older brother but it was good enough.

A ball of pure light formed in his hand and shot out towards the plant-like monster's head, severing and cauterizing the amputated appendage.

"I SPENT SEVERAL HOURS COLLECTING THOSE LOOTS YOU LITTLE PIECE OF PLANT-FUCKING SNAKE SHIT!" Ren roared out as a circular lens appeared on top of the monsters. Watching the monsters get frozen, the young undead felt the light that he gave off weaken him slightly due to his undead status but fuck it!

A ray of light shot out of the lens, hitting the monster, cauterizing and vaporizing it in an agonizingly long time composed of four seconds, leaving behind the pained screams to echo in the city of adventurers.

'Damn... that felt good,' the young undead thought ignoring the way how his body itched a bit due to the light.

"I... It's a male Tione..." Obsidian eyes snapped toward the elf, causing her to hide behind her friends. Scowling, the young undead looked at the sack containing his loot. 'Take the alleyway to escape problems my ass.'

"You okay, Eina?" Ren asked Bell's advisor.

"W-what was that?! You've been missing for a couple of days already and you just killed something that gave first-class adventurers a problem!" Eina shouted as Ren blankly looked at her.

'Man, Bell is so gonna get whipped if she becomes his girlfriend,' the young undead thought as he changed his focus toward the girls. One of them, an elf, was injured.

"Thank you for the help," Ren blinked as he looked at the shortest of the group, one that reminded him of his cute little nieces.

"No problem," The young man said as he looked at the quadrio. "Hold still," The undead said as he raised his hand and a net of soft light surrounded the four,

"My wounds!" The elf said as she looked at how her injury healed. Her wounds were sealed shut and her body no longer hurt.

The amazons saw their bodies were also healed from the injuries they got from the fight.

"Come on, Eina. I need to sell these things," Ren said as he gathered the monster drop that he had managed to acquire.

"That's a Goliath tooth!" One of the Amazons, the shorter one, said as she notice the tooth on his hand. "How did you get that?!"

...

'Curse my goddamn luck!' The young undead shouted in his mind as he looked at the female adventurers.

"I killed the monster that drops this," Ren dropped as he walked away, not wanting to say anything else. The young man kept his pace as he looked ahead. He needed to get this day done with and fast.

Stopping mid-step, the young man's obsidian eyes narrowed as he saw a cloaked figure observing Bell. Their eyes met...

'That woman... is dangerous!' Ren thought as he noticed it, someone was observing, watching over, the woman. 'I'll need to use my trump cards to beat him...' The young man thought with a shiver.

"Ren! There you are!" The voice of his patron, Hestia, broke him out of his thoughts. "Where were you?! We were both worried sick!"

A soft and gentle smile appeared on the young undead's face.

"I was in the dungeons and I got lost..."

"Oh, you. That's it! We're all eating out tonight! Your treat! That's your punishment for worrying us!" The diminutive deity shouted with a stern look, yet the sheer relief on her face made the young undead chuckle and ruffle her hair. "hey!"

"Fine, it'll be my treat. But first, we have to cash these in," Ren said, referring to his sacks of crystals and loot.

"All right!" Bell and Hestia cheered at the same time, causing a smile to form on the young undead's face.

---

"30 Million Valis!" Bell and Hestia whispered as they found themselves looking at the young undead with a smile on his face and a cup of coffee in his hand.

"I told you that I was hunting and I got lost." The young undead said as he looked at his little brother and patron. "I panicked and killed everything I can see while the Dungeon just kept throwing waves and waves of monsters after me,"

'Thank God for Gamer's body,' The young undead thought as he looked at the new bank account he was given to store his money.

"Tomorrow, we will be going shopping for a new house, equipment, and other necessities. Hestia?" The diminutive deity had tears falling from her eyes as she looked at the oldest of her children.

"W-why was I given such a good child and why is he so nice to me even after I neglected him," Hestia cried out causing the young undead's eyes to swirl a bit. "I am such a bad goddess!"

Obsidian met a pair of rubies.

'Stop her from crying!' Ren mentally roared to his little brother, not sure what to do to stop Hestia from crying. Hey! He might be overpowered but he was not that great with emotions!

'How?!' Bell asked while Ren just looked at Hestia and at him.

'I dunno! Don't ask me!' Ren shot back. 'Hug her or something!'

'Why not you?!'

'I suck at understanding emotions!' The young undead thought as he watched Bell hug Hestia. Nodding at the interaction, the young man smiled as he finished his cup of coffee.

"R-ren... I want you to have this," Hestia said as she pulled out a knife...

"H-holy shit!" The young undead said as he took the knife in his hand. Wait, despite its simplistic design, it was a beauty. It looks just like like the Blade of Woe from Skyrim! "W-where did you get this?!"

"A secret!" Hestia said with a smile as he looked at her children. "Ren and Bell, you two are my first children, that's why I want you to have these. I am a goddess with nothing to offer and you joined me despite that. I want you to have these two with you at all times as a symbol of our family,"

"How cheesy..." Ren whispered harshly as he massaged his temples, yet several drops of tears fell from his eyes.

"Aww, is our cool and mysterious edge lord of a captain crying?" Hestia asked teasingly as she hid her smile.

"I like black but that doesn't mean I'm an edge lord!" Ren shouted with a bright red face causing both Bell and Hestia to smile at the sight. "But honestly, thank you, Hestia."

"Look, Bell! Ren is blushing!" Hestia said with a grin causing Ren to growl and grab Hestia in a tight yet not painful headlock before rubbing his knuckles on top of her head playfully.

"R-ren! G-goddes!" Bell cried out only for the black-haired duo to look at him with glints in their eyes.

---

The young undead smiled as he looked at the the clipboard of the possible places he can buy as he, Hestia, and Bell sat on a table inside the Hostess of Fertility.

'Good, I can have several safe houses but my bugets for properties are 5 million, 5 million for renovations, 5 for new equipment, 5 for gambling, 3 million for investments, 2 million for gambling, and the rest will be divided in numerous banks for insurance and under different names,' Ren thought as he looked at his choices.

'I can buy a villa and several houses. I could rent some out or build some connections with several shipping companies for easier access to supplies. Hmm... decisions, decisions...'

"Oh, you're back," The voice of Syr Flova cut the young man's thoughts. Obsidian met with a pair of light grey. Light grey that almost shone like...

Silver eyes that shined under the shadows of a hood.

Ren froze as his obsidian eyes widened. 'It's just a coincidence,' Ren thought as he gave Syr a smile.

"Oh, Bell!"

Ren's right eye twitched at how he was heartlessly set aside.

"Ah, Lyon! We're here to play!" The doors of the restaurant opened to reveal a beautiful young woman with red hair and green eyes.

'Why does a lot of female adventurers look like supermodels?' The young undead thought as he found himself looking at the women before looking back at the menu offered to him. 'Wait!'

Ren peeked out of his menu, watching the exchange between the redhead and the elven maid, the one called Lyon. The young man hen turned his head around towards Bell before looking back at the woman.

'They act similar to each other!'

"I found you," A soft yet powerful voice echoed through the loud halls of the taver. Turning around, Ren blinked as he saw a young woman with blue- 'The best color ever' - hair look at his brother.

"Ren, what are you? Artemis!" Hestia cried out with a smile as she stood from her seat an ran towards the woman with open arms.

The woman with the awesome hair ran towards Hestia with a smile on her face that grew brighter with each step. Until she leapt in the air with open arms while Ren stood up from his seat while carrying his mug of mead. Artemis smiled as she wrapped her arms around Bell,.

"I found you! My Orion!" Artemis' voice was fully of happiness and joy as she hugged onto Bell while nuzzling her face on his chest.

"Huh?" Hestia asked as she looked at the sight of her youngest child being held in an embrace by her friend.

"First Hestia, then Artemis? Who next? Athena?" Ren asked under his breath as he finished his mug of alcohol while watching them.

'fuck... My life just got more complicated,' Ren thought as he felt how annoyed 'Syr' was. 'At least it's just Hestia, Syr, this woman with awesome hair, and that hooded chick from before.'
