It had been a month since Ash was reported missing. Serena was at home, kept hoping that Ash was still alive

"Hey Big sis, can I do something for you?" May approached and asked

"Big sis?" Serena confused

"You know, we are a family, so I think I could call you that. Beside, it's something to help me remember my brother, Ash. But if you don't like it, I can-" May got cut off because of a hug from Serena

"Thanks, May. I love it" Serena said

"May, you're ready, time to go" Alain said

"Okay Ali, just wait for me" May replied

"So, what were you two hiding? Speak out!" Serena smirked at May

"N-Nothing, it just..." May panicked

"We're officially dating" Alain spoke out the truth

"ALAIN!" May blushed

"Wait, I thought you were with Mairin" Serena asked

"Yeah, but she is a bit.... immature to me. So we broke up" Alain answered

"You just go out first, I want to talk to Big sis a bit" May said

"Okay, whatever you say" Alain walked out and waited for her

"So what was it?" Serena asked

"Alain wanted to kiss me... on the lips" May blushed

"Oh come on. I know you like it" Serena smiled

"But I'm still 14. I'm scared"

"So what? I had my first kiss at 16, when I was with... Ash...." Serena's smile turned into a frown, which May noticed it

"Uh... Serena... I'm going now. Sorry" May walked out and went with Alain

Serena then laid out on the bed and sighed. She first saw a bandage, reminded her first meet with Ash, when she took care of his bruises. She then saw the closet filled with Waifu pillows, reminded her how Ash blushed when she talked about it. But then she saw the hole created by her butt, and she remembered the time when Ash climbed on the roof with her to star gazing. She cried a bit and smashed the desk next to her

"Baka, baka, baka, BAKA! WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME, ASH, TO SAVE THE WORLD?!" She sobbed in a pillow. She was starting to lose hope about Ash.

But suddenly, a miracle appeared

Serena heard the door bell rang. She didn't want to come down and open the door as she wasn't in the mood. But one voice shocked her

"Are you home my sweet Honey cake?" A familiar male voice outside the door stunned Serena. "No, it can't be him. Or is it?" She thought to herself when she opened the door

"Hey Serena" A raven haired boy let out a grin at her. It was... Ash. Ash had somehow come back from the death and went back to meet Serena. But he received a powerful slap from Serena. The slap was too powerful that he was knocked down to the ground

"WHERE WERE YOU?!" - Serena shouted at him while crying - "DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG YOU HAVE LEFT?! I HAVE BEEN LIVING IN DARKNESS AND MISERY THE WHOLE TIME, AND ALL YOU CAN SAY IS "HEY"?!"

Ash looked at Serena and bowed his head. He knew he deserved this. She was right, he did left her for too long.

"Serena, I'm sorry. If you don't want to see me, I'll just go now" Ash turned his back and left, but he was tackled by a sudden hug from Serena. She turned him around and kissed him passionately, the kiss she had kept for a month, as her sign of forgiveness. Ash shedded a tear and kissed her back.

"Where were you?" Serena asked, but this time with a worried tone

"Let's get inside. I'll explain everything" Ash held Serena's hand and walked in. He told Serena about what happened to him in one month

*flashback*
"Where am I, and why my body is so... light?" Ash confused when he woke up in a mysterious place

"So you're finally awake, Ash" A mysterious voice called from behind

"Who are you? And how long have I stayed here?" Ash asked

"I'm the author of this book. And you've been in coma for almost 3 weeks"

"Wait, what? And where is this?" Ash asked

"You're in Author Void, this is the place I watch and control all of the characters, especially stop them from saying something that could break the fourth wall. But you totally broke it, and now the readers are going to get me. Nice try, Ash"

"I know, so why are you here?"

"I'm here to replace the fourth wall with a better one. A fourth wall made from.... uh... whatever the material of Wolverines's weapon"

"Final decision, huh?"

"Whatever. Anyway, I'm also here to do what the readers want: Revive you"

"Wait, so I... died?"

"Yeah man. But I managed to teleport you before the explosion. But this is the thing, Ash. Are you sure you want to go back?"

"Well yeah. I-"

"Ash, think twice. Serena might have done something while you're missing. She may have found a new boyfriend, could be Gary, or even, worse, she commit suicide. So Ash, you sure you want to go back, even that's mean you have to face the possible truth in front of your eyes"

Ash remained silence

"Listen. You can have a place at Author Void. You can become my assistant. Or even more, you can go to heaven and who know, you could meet Serena up there. You guys can do the you-know-what with her and... uh... like she said... build a new civilization up there. The choice is yours, Ash"

Ash was thinking about something. Then, with his determination, Ash spoke out

"I've made up my mind. I want to go back. I believe in Serena. She won't do something foolish. I know she's still believe I still alive"

"Very well. I guess, this is our goodbye, for now" The author then snapped his finger, teleport Ash to his house, while Author Void vanished slowly

"Wait, what can I call you from now?" Ash asked

"Just call me Author-kun. I want to remain the secret for now"

"Ok, bye"

*end of flashback*
"And that's what happened" Ash said then he saw Serena was looking at him all the time

"Uh, Serena, Earth to Serena" Ash waved his hand

"Oh, sorry Ash. I just happy when I saw you back" - Serena sobbed - "I thought I lose you forever"

Ash then embraced her into a hug, wiped her tears

"As long as you're here. I'll always be with you" Ash then kissed Serena

"Wow, it happened so fast. I feel like it was yesterday" Serena said

"What do you mean?" Ash asked

"Well, just couple of months ago, you were a shy and weak boy. You used to be depressed as well. But look at you now. You're the hero. My hero" Serena smiled

"And look at you too. At first you were an unfriendly and grumpy girl. But now you're friendly and kind" Ash said

"Who did you say was grumpy, Ashy?" Serena gripped his hair

"Uh, n-no one" Ash panicked

"Oh my Shyly Ashy. I love you" Serena leaned in

"I love you too, my sweet Serey" Ash leaned in but Serena pulled her head back

"Wait, Serey?" Serena confused

"Yeah, that's the nickname I gave you, love it?" Ash smiled

"I always do, Ash!" Serena tackled him into a hug and kissed him crazily. They were having a little tongue fight in their mouth

"Uh, Ashy boy, where were you, and what are you doing with Serena?" Both of them looked up and saw Gary, who was making a what-the-F look

"G-Gary, I can explain" Serena approached Gary

"No need to, let's talk about it tonight. I'm going to my room now" Gary walked upstairs

"Wow, that escalated quickly" Ash said

"I know. Anyway, continue?" Serena smiled

"You bet" Ash smiled back and they got back to what they were doing, but also tried not to make this too "far".

I am about to write an epilogue of this, but you can make a choice. I mean, I was thinking about a sequel. So, this is my question. Do you want a sequel of this? But I have to say that I'm not guaranteed the sequel will be better than this one. If you don't want it, then it's fine with me, too. I'll just make an epilogue and move on to my other book, Body Swap and could be a new one. So just give your opinion.
