So Wattpad had an error when I uploaded this. A lot of you didn't get the notification, and so do I. This cause a lot of readers who read this book before confusing why there a fight scene in the next chapter or why Serena didn't join Ash in the fight scene. So I decided to re-upload this to explain.

"I'd rather go to hell then join your scumbag clan" Ash glanced at Calem, made his crews relieved, while Serena was smiling with watery eyes

"Is that your decision?" Calem asked back.

"What, you think I was about to say I love you? Fat chance!" Ash said

"Very well!" Calem then kicked in Ash's guts, made him fell over

"ASH!" Serena ran toward him and held his body

"Don't you put a hand on Ashy boy!" Gary charged at Calem, but he dodged. Alain was about to attack him, but got the same result

"You know what, you twats? I'm not here to messing with you. I'm gonna go back to my lair and begin my ultimate scheme." Calem said

"What is it?" Ash asked in pain

"When your sweet uncle and aunt got in my father's scheme, he was forced to explode the building and ended that. But with my power, his dream finally come true. I will use my machine, the Hypno-Eye-Tron, to hypnotize everyone in this world, and soon I will take over the world and brighten Xander Clan. But first..." Calem finished his sentence then he grabbed both Gary and Alain, who are unconscious on the ground

"ALAIN!" Serena yelled

"What do you want to do to them?!" Ash asked and glared at Calem

"Nothing, I think they will be "helpful" in my plan. Now, hasta la vista, you twats" Calem then disappeared with both Gary and Alain

"No..." Serena knelt down and sobbed, then she felt a hand on her shoulder

"I know it's painful, Serena, but you need to let it go" Ash comforted her and wiped her tears

"Yes, Ash, I will" Serena sniffed

"Oh yeah, Serena?" Ash asked

"Yes?"

"Thanks for always by my side" Ash said

"Me too" Serena said and leaned in Ash, waiting for a kiss

"Ok, this is not kissing time. Let's head inside" Ash pulled back and walked in, made Serena sighed

Once they were inside the house, Ash discussed about where could Calem be
"I don't know where's his lair. It exploded in the past" Ash said

"Wait, Ash. If he needs the energy for that machine, it must be taken in the same spot, where that machine could operate efficiently" Serena said

"Wow, don't say that..."

"Yes, let's find the old place the building was exploded"

"What about May?" Ash asked

"Don't worry. She's sleeping. And this time Xander Clan won't attack our house" Serena said

Ash and Serena quickly ran to where the building was exploded. And surprisingly, Serena was right. Xander Lair was located at the same place.

"Wow, you're smart" Ash was surprised

"Yeah, I know. Can I have a reward?" Serena leaned in one more time

"Uh, not know. Let's save the world first"Ash pulled back and ran into the lair. Serena was a bit mad but decided to follow inside.

Once they stepped in, the lights were turned on, and surrounding them was a bunch of grunts

"Welcome, Serena and Ash. I know you two are clever enough to get here. But nothing with stop my plan. All of you, get them" Calem ordered from the screen hanging on the wall. The grunts were charging at them after the order

"Wanna end this in style?" Ash looked at Serena

"You bet!" Serena soon ended her sentence and attacked the grunts, so did Ash. Punches, kicks, crushes, all took place inside the lair. After a while, all of the grunts were defeated, as Ash and Serena were panting for air

"All of you are useless!" - Calem shouted - "But no worry. I have just finished made these two people become one of us. Be prepared!"

"Ash, don't say they are..." Serena said

"I don't think so, Sere. Or could they be..." As soon as Ash finished his line, the gate in front of them opened. Two people walked out, made Ash and Serena stunned

"No, it can't be..." Serena cried

"Oh no, he didn't..." Ash panicked

They were Alain and Gary. They seemed to be normal, but they had something strapped on their head, and their eyes were crimson red

"Meet my two new members, Alain X and Gary X. Now both of you, get them" Alain ordered

Alain went after Serena. She wanted to fight back but she didn't want to hurt her brother. She received a kick from Alain and fell on the ground

"Alain, please. It's me, Serena. Snap out of it" Serena begged, but Alain still quiet and walked to Serena.

"Alain, snap out of it, please, I beg you" Serena sobbed from the scene. Alain, being controlled by Calem, was approaching Serena, then occured a huge headache. His eyes just changed color repeatedly.

"Serena, kick the thing on... my... head" Alain tried to let out his word

"No, I can't. You will be hurted!" Serena said

"Just... do... it... before it's too late... Se...re...na" Alain was being controlled again and charged at Serena

"Yes, I will. Sorry Alain" She took all of her will and kicked at Alain's face, destroyed the thing controlling his mind

"Huh, Serena, where am I?" Alain asked but received a hug from Serena

"I'm glad you're back, Alain" - Then she turned at Ash, who was still fighting with controlled Gary - "Ash, made that thing on his head exploded"

"Ok, I got it" Ash replied and punched at the machine controlling Gary

"Uh, Ashy boy, what have I done?" Gary asked but also received a bro hug from Ash

"Glad you're back, Oak tree" Ash joked

"No, no, NO! THIS IS NOT OVER! I SHALL MAKE MY FATHER'S DREAM COME TRUE, NO MATTER WHAT!" Calem shouted angrily

"That's the power of our friendship, Calem. You won't get it" Ash said to the screen

"Oh, but can the power of friendship save all of you from this?" Calem said then pushed a big red button on the control panel. After that, the ground started to collapsed and everything crumbled. Ash's platform was collapsed pieces by pieces. When he about to jump, his platform soon collapsed and he fell down. Luckily, Serena was able to grab his hand, but seemed like he can't climb back up. Ash thought for a moment, then looked at Serena

"Serena, let go my hand. You take everyone out of the lair. I will jump down there and fight Calem!"

"No, Ash, I can't leave you. I will join you." Serena said

"Serena, please, listen to me. You need to survive. Just save the others"

"Ash, if you're going to die down there, we will die together. We will fly to heaven. We will... build a new civilization there."

"Serena, that's totally against the evolution"

"I don't care, as long as I can be with you. I love you, Ash" She said as tears running down her cheeks. Ash thought for a moment and spoke out

"All right, Serena, but before that, there also something I want to say"

"Yes Ash?"

"I love you, goodbye" Ash said as he hit Serena in her arm, made her let he go

"ASH!" Serena cried out more loudly

"Come on Serena, let's go" Alain held back Serena before she could do something crazy

"But Ash is down there, I need to go with him" Serena cried and struggled

"Ash has decided to do what he must. You have to accept it. Now, let's go!" Alain dragged Serena out of the lair. As soon as they got out, the lair was destroyed, leaving the basement underneath

"Ash, please, be safe" Serena knelt down and sobbed

Back to Ash, he landed on his feet and walked to Calem, who was setting something for the machine

"So, you decided to come all the way here, huh?" Calem turned back

"Xantorus, no, Calem Xander, this is the end of your life, and the end of Xander Clan" Ash clenched his fist, ready for the final battle with the leader of Xander Clan, Calem Xander, for the fate of the world
