Fortunately because of the events yesterday I was actually able to wake up today without any issues, it seems that the adrenaline still hasn't worn off. I spent most of my time yesterday thinking over the incident that happened at the Prism tower. First the Garchomp that couldn't get a hold of itself, secondly the mysterious trainer that helped stop things from escalating any further, but what really topped it off for me, something that will take a while to forget, is the image of the figure jumping off of the top section for his Greninja. 

The person is extremely brave to risk his own life to save his pokemon, most trainers even the strongest could jump in front of an incoming attack to save an injured pokemon. However, putting your own life in danger, and facing death is a whole new level for me. Fennekin and I can barely even handle getting the least bit dirty, I remember when one time Fennekin refused to cross a muddy puddle.

Pondering on things that have happened in the past is useless, if the person really is that isolated there not even the slightest chance that I will be able to even get to see him again. I sighed, and noticed as Fennekin slowly woke up. She gave me that smile filled with happiness and showed me her eyes filled with ember.

"You know, seeing I am awake this early... It would be a waste to get nothing out of my beauty sleep being swept away." I said to no one in particular. A devious grin made its way and covered my face.

I took this as an opportunity. All these times it's been me, but now is the perfect moment for a little thing I liked to call payback. With my mind being made up, I walked into my mothers room making sure to be extremely quiet to avoid waking them up. "Ok Fennekin, when I give you my signal I want you to use scratch on Fletchling while I scare my mom to death" I whispered to Fennekin

"Fenn-" The fire type pokemon tried to speak up but what instantly blocked by my index finger "Shhh! Quiet Fennekin we don't want them waking up..." 

I made my way to my moms bed and looked at Fennekin while he jumped on the bed and got next to the night stand that Fletchling sleeps in. Noticing that both of us were positioned, I showed Fennekin my hand and started counting down, three, two, one...

"WAKE UP MOM! YOU'RE GOING TO BE LATE FOR WORK" I screamed into my mothers ears, while I could hear scratching noises on the other side of the room

"AAAAAAAH" My mother screamed, completely scared to death and jumped out of bed. On the other side of the room could be heard very high pitch squeak "Fletch! Fletchling! Fletch- Fletch Fletchling! FLETCHLING!" Fletching was aggresively waving it's wings towards Fennekin while clearly demonstrating its anger that it got woken up in such a brutal way.

"Uuuh, Serena... Why did you have to wake us up in that way..." My mom began, I couldn't stop laughing at them. Eventually I stopped and answered her "I thought that maybe you would like to experience what I go through many times, since you are so invested into my business"

Once I explained my reasoning behind the attack, she also burst out laughing. It was short lived, but still a moment that was great to share with my mom. We both went downstairs and made breakfast. Today was one of those days where she wouldn't bother me by reminding me of some of my earlier thoughts.

When I finished breakfast I got my bag and headed to school. While waiting on the bus stop most of my friends arrived, those that live close by. "Serena! Are you okay!" Dawn screamed into my ears before grabbing me into a giant bear hug. I was confused by her actions, It's not like I did anything life threatening. "Hi to you too Dawn, but why exactly are you so worried about me?" I questioned her

"Did you see the news yesterday?" May joined in "Yes, but I wasn't even near that" Prism tower is far away from my house, nearly a half an hour walk "One of the hyper beams went towards your general direction and we were really worried about you" That explains it I guess.

"If you were so worried why didn't you come yesterday?" I caught her off guard and got her at her own game "I ehm... We t- it was..." but someone else finished her statement "dangerous?" Gary ended with a question. I giggled at their response, it was still funny yet a little worrisome at the same time.

After that we got to school. As soon as we arrived, right off the start you could hear gossip going all around the place. "Looks like we weren't the only ones watching yesterday" Gary added. He was right, everyone was in their own little groups talking to each other about Garchomp and that trainer. I didn't think much of the gossip, but I was very interested in the topic, more specifically the male trainer.

We soon left for class. It was really boring, and I could barely even pay attention. Sooner rather than later I ended up falling asleep. Fortunately for me the class ended without the teacher noticing my absence. I made my way through the hallways of the school, I went to my locker to put some notebooks away while also grabbing other equipment for my other class. 

Currently I had a free period, which means I could do whatever I please in the next hour. I reached my locker and put in the correct code. After opening my locker door, I took my backpack off my shoulders and proceeded to open it. At the moment the backpack was open, the first thing my eyes noticed was the supplies that did not belong to me. I then thought back to yesterday when Ash left leaving all of his things.

I sighed 'I guess I better go give them to him before he notices that I have them and thinks that I stole them' I didn't think of this as a bad thing. This means that I will be able to talk and interact with him again, it was an opportunity knocking on the door, and there was no way I am ignoring it. "Oh, but he might be in class..." I said to myself out loud. Feeling slightly disappointed I left school to go to eat out, while walking towards the exit of the school and going outside I noticed Ash.

'Looks like he has a free period as well' I ran after him, he was going into the forest for some odd reason. I was getting deeper and deeper. I thought that I was lost for sure, but I just kept going. Nothing could be seen on all of the sides, there were just trees upon trees. Suddenly the thought of Beedrill attacking me made its way into my mind and froze me in place. 'Why did I follow him, I could have just waited outside of the forest..." I said in my mind with worry

I was then unfrozen by a familiar voice giving our commands, they were very faint but I could still make it out to be Ash. I followed the sound of his voice until I saw a clearing up ahead, after a few more steps I noticed him in the middle of the opening. I smiled at the sight and started walking towards him, but something prevented me, it was this unexplainable force of doubt going through my mind.

"Alright Pikachu, while approaching the target use iron tail, and then add an electro ball onto that!" He shouted at his partner "Pika!" The yellow mouse pokemon replied with confidence. 'Did he just command him to use two moves at the same time?'

I watched as Pikachu turned it's tail a blinding white and ran with the speed of light towards the rock, just before reaching it a ball of shocking energy began forming and grew to the size of a Wailmer. My jaw dropped as I stood their in complete shock while Pikachu threw the ball of electricity at the large stone  and proceeded to drop using iron tail.

"An amazing combination... Maybe, I should take something from that for my performance" I said to Fennekin who was also watching. But the combination didn't end there like my mind thought "Pikachu use that recoil from the iron tail to lunge into the air and finish this with a thunderbolt"

While I was in awe, my eyes took notice to Ash, mostly onto his lower region of his chest. From the blast of the deadly combination, Ash's clothing was being affected by the wind, the wound looked fresh, actually it looked as it this was gained recently. 'Wait a minute, didn't the trainer from yesterday get cut by the Garchomp?' My thought process was interrupted by the electric pokemon bouncing off of the rock and proceeded to use a powerful thunderbolt, since electricity had no effect on the ground it bounced into every direction, even ours and ended up striking the tree right next to us. "Ah!" I screamed and jumped away

I stood up and noticed that both Pikachu and Ash weren't continuing their training. I was still out of their sights, which thank god for that because I could feel them staring towards my direction. "Who's there! Come out right now, or we won't make this easy!" Ash yelled into the tree and bushes that Fennekin and I were hiding behind.

"Pika, Pikachu!" His partner added. I froze, I didn't know what to do. I was in too much panic to think straight, instead of walking out and admitting it was me, I made the irrational move and decided to run for it. Completely forgetting about his stuff, it fell out of my hands and I sprinted while hearing a phrase "Pikachu use thun- huh?" Ash didn't finish his sentence though.

I turned my head back and saw him staring at me while I made my escape. 'Wait, why didn't Ash attack me like he said he would? I'm positive he would do that no problem to anyone, but he decided to hold it back on me.' I said in my thoughts, we somehow managed to reach the edge of the forest, I looked back and saw nobody 

"Ergh! Stupid Serena, why didn't you just stay and explained why you were watching him!"
