Chapter Three
{Jedi's POV}
It's always going to be this boring isn't it? A young Espeon asked himself as he furiously shoved things into his bag.
Why was he so furious?
Arceus knows why.
He was just mad his life was this boring.
Go to school, go home, eat, sleep. That's all my life is!
His parents—Vaporeon and Glaceon—always made sure he was the safest Pokémon in the world.
He was grateful towards them, but he wanted an adventure. He wanted to go out and explore a dungeon. His parents wouldn't even let friends come over unless they were watching him like a hawk.
He sighed, attempting to calm his anger into something more manageable.
I shouldn't be this angry. I have nothing real to be angry at. The teenage Espeon pondered as he reached for a pencil.
His paw pressed against the pencil's sharp end, moving up towards the eraser of the pencil.
He paused at the middle, his fuzzy purple paw curling around the pencil.
His ears fell as he heard a loud crash upstairs.
Arceus, can't that Sylveon stay quiet? He always has to make so much noise no matter what time of the day. Sheesh. What I wouldn't give for our sister to return to us. He thought as he released his hold on the pencil.
He pressed his paws against his hearing holes.
"RUPERT TURN OFF THAT RACKET THIS INSTANT!!" The Espeon yowled loudly.
It was hard for him to be louder than his brother's—Rupert's—music.
His throat began to hurt from the yowling.
Why at 7:30 in the morning? Why couldn't he just wait to sing his horribly voiced songs until this afternoon?
Rupert was only a couple of years younger than him. Approximately fourteen. Apparently fourteen was the year of him doing rock and roll.
More annoying than amazing. The Espeon thought as he heard his brother crash down the stairs.
How'd he know?
They were the only two in the house this time of day.
The school bus would pick them up in...about fifteen minutes. Give a few minutes if the bus driver's slow as he always is.
He wasn't even a slow Pokémon, and yet he somehow was slower than a Slowpoke. And even then that was an insult to the Slowpoke.
Mr.Espeon's door was flung open and a loud yowl that followed his own followed. Like three minutes after he shouted.
"MAKE ME, JOE!" Rupert shouted.
The Espeon rolled his eyes.
Why the hell did the bastard have to use a silly name for his nickname?
No offense to any Joes, but Joe is used way too much.
The Espeon groaned and rolled his eyes, his brother's silly face turning upward into a smile.
Fuck you.
If the Sylveon wasn't his brother he would be so dead right now.
Sure it was only a nickname, but it stunk. Just like the Sylveon's breath every Fish Friday. Which for him might as well be every day.
"My name is Jedi, Rupert. You know this. Stop teasing me with that ridiculousness," The Espeon remarked.
The younger Sylveon pounced, running Jedi's head with a Sylveon paw.
Jedi groaned, swiftly using his paws of fury to push his brother off him.
Too bad I'm left with him. Though it could always be worse. I could be left with a killer alien! Jedi thought.
"Get off of me!" Jedi squealed, kicking him off.
The younger giggled profusely.
"Have you had breakfast yet?" The Sylveon asked, quickly getting off his brother.
That was a fast change of topic.
Jedi lashes his tail in thought.
Of course it was easy to find since he had a very high IQ being an Espeon and all.
Nerp.
Wait that's not even a word.....
"No. I haven't." Jedi said, knowing his brother didn't have psychic powers like he did.
He glanced towards the kitchen with his psychic powers, and with quick thinking he lifted a Pokepuff; He brought the Pokepuff to his room.
Always too lazy to get them myself, he thought as he reached out with a paw to grab the floating treat.
"Hey, could you do that again? I want one too!" Rupert asked, shaking Jedi.
"Okay! Okay! Stop shaking me! Sheesh." Jedi remarked Saltily.
His expression changed soon after his eyes glowed, and he picked a Pokepuff that just somehow happened to be sitting on the counter.
Our parents must have bought them for our first day of school. He noted as the Pokepuff slammed into the wall.
Jedi flinched, his brother gazing at his change of features.
"What happened? Please don't tell me you destroyed the Pokepuff already!"
"Oh you know I did. This happens every day." Jedi commented.
Rupert glared at him for a second before the two burst into laughter.
How do we get into the exact same situations each and every day? Jedi wondered as he laughed extremely hard.
It was funny to him because it was...well repetitive.
You would think an Espeon would know not to drop his brother's pokepuff when his brother really loves pokecuffs.
They're literally the only thing he will eat besides fish.
"We waste a lot of Pokepuffs!" Rupert snickers with a grin.
"We really shouldn't keep doing this." Jedi added with a grin that expressed they probably would keep doing that no matter how serious they were taking things.
As much as Jedi faked being annoyed at his younger brother he really loved the little guy.
"We should probably get going," Jedi said as he conjured up another Pokepuff from the kitchen.
His brother took it and almost choked on the tasty dish.
What he gets for putting it all in his mouth and expects it to go down without chewing it first.
Jedi snorts at his brother.
"Careful or you might not make it to high school." He warned.
Rupert shook his head.
"Let's head outside. I think I can hear the bus," the Sylveon commented, changing the subject.
Jedi shook his head.
School. Right.
The Espeon picked up his backpack, his brother had his already.
Jedi and Rupert headed out Jedi's bedroom, walked through the hallway into the living room, and then opened the door.
The two left their house, not forgetting to close and lock the door before leaving.
Jedi pocketed the key in his backpack.
Don't want someone finding it in a flowerpot and inviting themselves in, he remarks to himself.
The two walked to a stop sign, and paused. The two waited for the bus to arrive.
Lucky for them, the bus arrived only shortly after Jedi had eaten his Pokepuff.
Jedi licked his lips as his gaze turned up towards the approach death contraption.
The stairs were so high up, Jedi didn't know if he could reach them even if he jumped up on them. Did the school ever thought about the Pokémon who aren't that tall?
Rupert lead the way, bracing himself for a tense jump. It only took five seconds, but his legs stretched out, paws reaching for the first step. His front paws then reached out for the second and so on.
Jedi followed, running up the stair. With his bad luck he tripped and fell.
The Pokémon on the bus began to laugh at him.
Of course that would happen. Jedi groaned in his head as he ducked his head, taking a seat besides his brother.
His ears flattened as thoughts ran through his mind.
Hopefully this day will just get better. I hope, Jedi prayed as his tail went between his legs.

Author's Note: Finally we get a chapter with Jedi. What do you think of him so far? What about his brother? This was 1200-1300 by the way.
I'm not sure when I will get back to this, so you will be left with just
Three chapters. This book will be on hold for a couple of months at least.
Thanks for reading thus far.
I hope you enjoy. Now onto the fanart of the ship and all that:
Umm not sure what to think of that Flareon. Expression's kinda creepy to be honest.
Awww, so cute. Pretty sure there's the same creator for many of these. XD.
Anyways until next time! 🤪
