Extended Prologue {1}

Death was waiting. Hellfire licked the tips of his pearlescent fingers as he gripped the edge of his brittle throne. Beneath him were the skeletons of heroes, and other foolish people who had sworn to avenge a loved one's death.

They thought they could kill Death.

They were horribly wrong.

He stroked the jagged edge of a cracked skull and grinned, remembering it's particular story. In the midst of the memory, an explosion of air greeted him, accompanied with the loud slam of the towering gates at the front of the hall. Six ethereal beings stepped in time with each other in a single line. The women filed into a curved line to face Death. He noticed the swift blur of a silhouette take shape next to the goddess on the left end of the line.

No longer were there six goddesses.

There were seven.

|Message to Readers|

I do not support or condone the actions taken by characters in this novel. All pictures courtesy of Google Images and Pinterest, although editing is done by me. This book is a blend of mythology and fiction, so if you notice any similarities...I know. There will be gruesome, gory scenes ahead, so BEWARE. But please, throw all caution to the wind and continue with the read my friends:D
