CHRISTMAS is something many people cherish deep in their hearts, whether they are a young child yearning to rip open those gifts that taunted them for days to the adults who wanted the children to be occupied. But for Noelle Lovecraft, it was another burden; a burden she holds deep into her heart that's been weighing more and more till she breaks.

THE GUILT OF WAR bore scars physically and emotionally on Noelle, or Noel as most call her (against her wishes sometimes). She could still remember the stench of blood and stillness that day, bodies littering around her, it haunted her, strangled her till she was pleading for death.

HAVING LOST EVERYTHING and reeling still from war nearly a year later, Noelle is finally ready to move on attempt to find a stable job and forever forget that day like everything else. With the abandoned bakery dream she had, a nanny job landed right on her lap with a person she had a crush on years ago while at Hogwarts. Maybe this year will be different.

THE WORLD HAD CHANGED for him, everything he had ever known was gone just like that. James Potter had become a respectable Auror and apart of the order of the Phoenix with a young son, having lost his wife Lily that halloween night two years ago. It left him with crippling fear of losing his own son just like the day he remembered seeing his own wife dying that fateful day.

RAISING A SON alone was hell, with a rising job and stress of a toddler especially when Christmas rolls around it's like everything is amplified to a thousand.

HE DIDN'T WANT TO GET a nanny but with winter work and being a single father weighted down on his shoulders, he never expected to fall for the one person James couldn't have, even while mourning the woman he felt he truly love or at least loved.
