The Sassed, Harassed, Not-So-Fast Hippo

I am the sassed, harassed, and not-so-fast hippo.

I can't escape it.

The lions snarl at me,

And the snakes, they hiss.

So I try to chase them

But I slam into a tree.

So clumsy!

I am the sassed, harassed, and not-so fast hippo.

I wish I could ignore it.

The gators snap.

The mice taunt.

And when I talk back,

I get cracked.

So bad!

I am the sassed, harassed, and not-so- fast hippo.

But today I will stand.

So everyone else can be sassy and harrassing.

I am the King of the Water

With my paw on my hip(pos)

And I show my teeth we glee.
