Hippo Dance

A silly happy hippo

Did a fancy prancy dance,

Such a sight to see,

A hippo dance on land.

Oh how the animals laughed!

One rumbly hungry crocodile

Showed his giddy toothy smile,

As the hippo squatted a spot

In the watery nile,

Right by the grinning crocs mouth.

The silly happy hippo

Suddenly danced no more,

Unaware as its lippy hippo grin grew.

The croc confused kept smiling back,

'Til suddenly he knew why the hippo danced.
