There once was a vet named Oliver

He wanted to be a famous tooth polisher

Cheerfully he went to the zoo

He didn't know what he'd gotten into

Soon to be dinner of expert caliber.

There once was a lioness named Pearl

Whose toothache made her head twirl

The vet asked her the matter

As he climbed up the ladder

On him Pearl hurled, the poor girl.

There once was an extraction traumatic

Oliver yanked out the right tooth in a panic

Pearl roared at the pain in her gum

She bit Oliver in the bum
