Imogen Harris and Lando Norris used to be the bestest of friends. They met back while they were carting, their parents were close and by default, Imogen and Lando were too. Then Lando got better, way better, and he started spending less and less time with Imogen.

While Lando started racing in junior formulae, Imogen was left behind to go to school and forget about her friend. While he got to live his dreams, Imogen was forced to try and make new ones, to be content with what she had.

Now, he's up with the big shots. Racing a Formula 1 around the world and doing a pretty good job at it. Imogen, still a massive fan of sport, went into sports journalism and works across the UK reporting on the Rugby Super League. Rugby was her father's and brother's favourite sport, so when she couldn't get a position reporting on her own favourite sport, she chose the next best thing.

Until one day, an offer arrives, Imogen, being a young Rugby and Formula 1 fan, posts on social medias her opinions and analyses. An up and coming popular and youthful Formulae online news company named Formula Flash invites her to work alongside them. Imogen, always fighting to be as close to her dreams as possible, has no second thoughts on taking the job.

But with a new job, comes a new realm to adjust into. While touring England for Rugby had been fun, following Formula 1 around the world is something else entirely. At first, she's shadowing their major journalist- Jasper Orlo- but when he takes ill midway through the British GP she has no choice but to take his place.

And thats how it happens. That's how she goes from congratulating Lewis Hamilton, her hero, to meeting the eyes of her childhood best friend. At first he doesn't recognise her but then she says her name, tells him who she's reporting on behalf of, and it's like a tsunami washes over him. She's here, in front of him, the girl he loved and lost and...she's here. In one of his happiest places.
