Life's Road

The road that extends before me

Cannot be traveled by everyone

I'm left wondering if I'm looking at

The rising or setting sun.

It stretches out for miles

Will it ever be done?

Along the way,

Will I have any fun?

The road lies open

Full of unanswered questions.

My only hope is

If I make it to the end

I'll have reached

my true destination.
