"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"

The whole RFA gang shouted as the twins just stood there, shocked with what has unfolded before them.

"Y-you guys..." Saeyoung said as he smiled the brightest smile he has ever shown.

"You didn't have to do this you know..." Saeran muttered as he looked away, obviously flustered because his entire life, he never experienced having a party thrown for him.

"Nonsense! We are family. It's only natural for us to celebrate your birthdays with you. Now, let's go blow out the candles!" MC said as she grabbed the twins' wrists and led them to the table with the cake.

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you! Happy birthday, our dear twins, happy birthday to youuu!"

"Now make a wish!" The older twin closed his eyes and held his hands together, while the younger twin just looked at his brother, dumbfounded.

"Saeyoung, we're too old for this. Stop it." He hissed at his brother, to which Saeyoung didn't pay much attention.

"Saeran, you're never too old for wishes! Just try it, okay?" Saeyoung smiled and returned back to his position a while ago. Saeran just sighed and went along with his brother.

They both blew out their candles, which are 22 by the way, and everyone cheered. As everyone were talking and chatting, they were disrupted by a plate falling on the floor. Is something wrong?

"Oh my gosh! Honey Buddha Chips birthday cake?! You're the best honey!" Saeyoung screeched and hugged MC, to which the girl returned back.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief as they thought something bad may have happened. Saeran just stared at his brother gobble up his cake. He just didn't understand how one would like cake that much. He wasn't really much of a fan of anything made out of wheat. MC noticed this and approached the younger twin.

"Ah Saeran! I know you don't like cake that much so I prepared something else for you." The brunette said as she set out and ice cream cake decorated with different types of sprinkles and toppings.

"That's not all!" She continued as she put a huge amount of ice cream in a bowl and handed it to the already drooling Saeran.

"Go on. You deserve it." Saeyoung smiled as he gave his brother a pat on the head, giving him reassurance.

"A-ah. Thanks..." He hesistantly took the bowl from the smaller female's hands. He took a bite of the ice cream cake.

"Uwaa..." He muttered as he continued eating.

"Is it good? I had Jaehee help me in making this." MC smiled and handed Saeran a napkin. The younger twun just nodded his head and just continued eating.

"Cute..." The couple whispered and took a lot of pictures of Saeyoung's cute little brother.

He just continued eating until he ended up finishing the whole tray of ice cream cake and a whooe gallon of ice cream.

"Aww.. You didn't save some for me?" Saeyoung pouted at his brother.

"No I didn't. Get lost, you nerd." Saeran hissed at his brother. He just chuckled and did what he was asked.

"Salty as ever, my dear brother." He muttered and went to go talk to Zen, who is sneezing really bad by the way because a certain cat mom brought a special guest.

All was well and fun until a knock on the door was heard. Everyone was confused.

'The whole RFA gang is here. Who could that be?' Saeyoung asked himself.

"I'll get it!" As Yoosung opened the door, everyone inside the house was shocked, but not MC.

"Vanderwood?!!" Saeyoung shouted and ran towards the male.

"Hello. I've come here to deliver a gift from... Your mother." Vanderwood said as he entered the house, all eyes on him.

"Our mom? What? Why? How?" Saeyoung blurted out after a few seconds of silence. It has been a while since he contacted his mother. Maybe the last time was when he and Saeran were separated. As expected, Saeran has a look filled with anger, but Saeyoung knows he is sad deep inside.

"I asked Vanderwood here to go find your mom." MC stated as she walked over to where Vanderwood and Saeyoung are.

"What? Why?"

"Because she's still your mother. No mother alive would want to miss their sons' birthday. So Vanderwood and I tracked her down, and after months of searching, we found her in a small house near your hometown. When we reached the house, she welcomed us with the warmest smile. We introduced ourselves, and when we told her we knew you both, she was just so overwhelmed and happy she started bursting into tears. She really missed you..." MC said and looked at the two with a sad look.

"If she missed us why didn't she come here with you?" Saeran suddenly spoke and gave MC a glare.

"Because she's sick. She didn't have much time left. As much as she wanted to come here, she can't." Vanderwood spoke up, earning again another batch of surprised looks from the others, especially the twins.

"She's... Sick?" Saeyoung whispered and looked down, obviously shocked with the news he just heard. Saeran was utterly speechless. He's just standing there with his eyes wide with shock.

"She wanted you to have this." Vanderwood held out an envelope to the twins. Saeyoung looked up and took it, and carefully opened to see its contents.

It was a picture of the twins when they were still babies, sleeping soundly.

"Hey... It's us. Haha.." Saeyoung smiled sadly.

"Yeah." Saeran just replied with a sad look.

As they were looking at the picture, something else fell from the envelope.

"A paper?" Saeran picked it up and opened it.

"This is... A letter from... Mom..." Saeran muttered loud enough for his brother to hear.

"Dear Saeyoung and Saeran,

Happy Birthday to my beloved twins! I'm sorry Mama couldn't be there with you to celebrate. Though I'd like nothing more than to see you again, I'm afraid I no longer have the strength to do so. You've always been in my thoughts since the day we parted. I couldn't stop thinking about you two. I hope you both are happy in where you are now. If you boys are happy, then so is Mama. Be well my dears. I love you so much, do not forget that.

Everyone in the room was quiet as Saeyoung read the last part of the letter, until they heard quiet sniffles.

"I-" Saeran tried to stop his tears from falling, but he failed, so he just let them fall onto his cheek and to the paper he was holding.

"Oh..." Saeyoung couldn't help himself so he let the tears fall and wrapped his arms around his brother.

All the feelings they've suppressed for the past years when they were separated from their mom and from each other were let out. All the RFA gang could do was just stay silent and let the twins pour out their feelings.

"Hey Saeran..?" Saeyoung said as he broke the hug, tears still streaming down his cheeks.

"After this, let's go see mom okay? We can bring her some Daffodils. She loves them right? I just want to see her smile again... I miss her so much..." Saeyoung said, his voice cracking.

"I miss her too..." Saeran whispered and pulled Saeyoung into another hug.

MC teared up a little bit with the event unfolding in front of her, while the others just smiled. After a while, the twins have finally calmed down and are now sitting down on the sofa.

"You bring the daffodils, I'll go bring some strawberries... Do you think she'll like them...?" Saeran suddenly spoke. The older twin was surprised, but then a smile formed on his lips as he put his arm around his brother's shoulders.

"Of course! She'll love them." Saeyoung beamed at Saeran. For the first time in a while, Saeran gave a bright smile and nodded.

"So, want to bet on which twin gets to drink the most beer in just 30 minutes?" Saeyoung grinned mischievously.

"God, you are so childish. Count me out." Saeran stood up and started walking away when MC stood on his way.

"Nope! You are going to drink your heart out tonight! It's your birthday for pete's sake! Enjoy yourself more, Saeran!" MC said and handed him a can of beer.

"Fine! But just one drink alright?" He said as he was pulled back down the sofa by Saeyoung and MC sat next to him.

After a few more hours of partying and drinking, everyone, even Jaehee, is wasted.

"Too... Much... Partying..." Saeran slurred his words before he passed out.

Poor Vanderwood. Once he wakes up, he knows he's going to be the one cleaning ALL of this mess.
