I was hidden behind the boxes in the Cornucopia. There were a lot of food there, so I didn't have to worry about that.
Then I heard an announcement
"Attention all tributes! You have an hour to get into the Cornucopia, otherwise your tracker will detonate!"

I was lucky enough to be already there but unlucky that everyone will come here now.

I decided to stay hidden and hope that no one will find me.

Careers and Lavender from 10 came to the Cornucopia.
Gabriella quickly stabbed Lavender in the chest as she noticed her.
"Sorry but there can only be one victor." Ruth said and attacked Charlotte with a sword.
"You bitch-" Charlotte yelled.
Ruth stabbed Charlotte in many places and then Gabriella threw her spear at Ruth's head.
Two cannons sounded.

There was only me and Gabriella on the arena. She was standing back to me, the countdown didn't end yet so she thinks that I didn't arrive yet.
That's when I threw my axe in her back.
"How?" She mumbled as she tried to get up.
"Magic." I smiled and was ready to get my axe back but Gabriella threw it away.
I had no weapon and I spotted that she was trying to get her spear from the ground.
She didn't got to because I took out my rope and tied it around her neck.

Gabriella was shaking while trying to get out of my trap. Soon she started to pass out and she stopped moving.
I didn't free her though, I knew that before dieing from being chucked, she first have to pass out. I waited with the rope around her neck until I heard a cannon.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, the victor of the 225th Hunger Games and 9th Quarter Quel is Dawn Wood from District 7!"

I couldn't believe that I have won. I was so happy that I now can see my family again.

Dawn went back to District 7 to her family. The Capitol didn't like her but she managed to act good enough so they don't kill her family. Dawn suffered from trauma after the games but didn't fell into any addiction until all of her siblings didn't need to be taken care of. After her brother Victor died, she became a drug addict and later died from the drug overdose.
