I woke up early and realized that today is the day. Maybe my last day alive.
After I got my tracker in my hand I met with Amy before going into the arena.
I was wearing a brown and green jumpsuit with my curly red hair in a bun.

Then I got on the arena.

"Let the 225th Hunger Games begin,"
The countdown started going.
I looked around and realized that this is a jungle arena. The Cornucopia was filled with suppsupplies and weapons, maybe even more than usual?

Finally the gong sounded and when everyone rushed into the Cornucopia, I stand on my podium. I watch everyone killing eachother and analysing the situation.

When I spotted no one near an axe so I ran there. With an axe in my hands I attacked Maisy from 6. She immediately died after getting hit in the neck, I took her stuff which was a bag with water and food.
Despite being in shock that I killed someone, I ran away from the Cornucopia.
The arena was huge, I climbed the nearest tree and took a slip of my water.
"Things are going pretty good so far," I thought, I had a weapon and supplies.

I have decided to walk around the jungle. I spotted a girl from 10 who was lying dead near the tree with coconuts. They were poisonous, I quickly figured that out. The girl had rope with her which I took.

Couple of hours later, I went to sleep on the tree. Waking up to see the fallen tributes, I have discovered something awful.
The dead ones were: both from 3, one from 5, one from 6, one from 9, one from 10, one from 11 and Georgie.
Poor Georgie didn't survive the bloodbath, I felt so sorry for her.

Another day came and odds weren't in my favour today.
When I was walking around, I heard something near me. I felt alarmed and was ready to throw an axe at someone. That's when I felt someone hitting me in the head.
I fell on the ground with my vision becoming blurry. It was Ruth from District 1.

Is that it?
Am I going to die now?

She dragged me by an ankle while my all the mud and dirt getting into my hair.
I don't remember when I fell asleep but I remember when I woke up.
I in a hole in the ground along with Zoe from 12.
"Talk!" Ruth kicked Zoe in the stomach.
"I won't tell you!" Zoe cried.
I wonder what was going on.
"You!" Charlotte walked up to me.
"Where is your District partner?" She asked.
"S-she died yesterday." I replied.
"Yeah, she's right. I killed her during the bloodbath." Gabriella said.
"So what do we do?" Beatrix asked.
"Let's keep everyone except 12." Francesca told everyone.
I looked around and saw some girl who also got taken by the careers.
Those were Ellen from 9, Josephine from 11 and Layla from 4.
"Ruth, kill her." She added.
"Alright," Ruth took her sword in one hand and with other hand picked Zoe up by hair. Zoe was crying and screaming, poor girl was just 12. Ruth threw Zoe on a rock which made her fall unconscious but still alive.
Then Ruth stabbed the girl in the heart and her cannon sounded.
"You're three are under our control now if anyone tries to escape or betray us will die." Francesca told us.

Me and the other tributes started walking along with the careers. I couldn't believe how much my situation turned from good to bad.
They took away my axe and all of my supplies.

...

After a while we spotted a coconut tree, the same that I saw yesterday.
"Hey, 9" Beatrix started.
"Are those poisonous?" She asked.
"I don't know." Ellen answered.
"Then find out." She threw her a coconut.
I didn't want to say anything, I didn't want to save the girl. I was too scared of saying anything.
Ellen slowly drank the water from the coconut. At first nothing happened but then Ellen fell on the ground and her canon sounded.

There was no blood, coughing or pain.
Just falling to the ground with pale skin.

"Now we know," Ruth kicked Ellen's body.
"Let's go before the hovercraft comes." Francessa ordered she was clearly the leader.
Suddenly an arrow got into Beatrix's leg and made her scream in pain.
Gabriella immediately threw her spear at the girl that shot the arrow.
It was Nina from 8, the spear landed in her stomach and soon her cannon sounded.
"Stupid girl." Gabriella said.
"Get up, Beatrix." Francesca looked coldly at her ally who was in pain.
They all definitely weren't friends.
Beatrix took out the arrow and painfully got up.
"Let's look for a place where we can stay for night." Ruth said and we all moved on.

While the hovercraft was taking Nina's body, I noticed rope sticking out of her pocket. I quickly took it without anyone noticing.

The day two has passed and I was thinking how to get out of the careers. Without my axe they could easily kill me.
