Time flies so fast, especially when you're outside like this.

For example, the sky turned dark faster than Gabimaru thought.

He and his wife Yui have been walking for quite long now but they still haven't made it out of this forest.

It's understandable because this village is quite unknown to it, maybe that's why he sees so few people live in this place. But Gabimaru also found strange about it.

Why is the way here so easy but the way out so difficult. If he hadn't asked a villager just now, he and Yui would have been lost.

And according to what a villagers said earlier, every time someone wants to get out of here need to cross the path deep in the forest.

This made Gabimaru feel little annoyed when it was already dark and he and his wife still hadn't gone all the way.

"It's too dark now, I can't see anything" Yui helplessly.

The Shinobi turned at his wife, her forehead wrinkled and she also moved slower than before. Seems to have been walking for too long so Yui look a bit tired.

Gabimaru quickly regretted it, he should have stayed in that village to rest. Although there are few people living there, at least it was safer than staying in the forest like this.

He said to her "Looks like we have to find some house to stay rest! How about we go back to the village?".

"Aren't we already far away from it?" Yui reluctantly "It'll take a lot of effort to go back there, dear".

His wife is right, if they goes back now it will only take more time. But Gabimaru can't let both of them sleep in the forest like this.

It's too dangerous.

Walking slowly, he busy thinking of a solution. Then Yui suddenly grabbed his hand tightly to stop him.

"What is it?" He asked worried.

She gently raised her finger and pointed forward "There's a house over there!".

Gabimaru looked in the direction she pointed, narrowing his eyes to see better because it was too dark.

"You're right!" He raised an eyebrow "It's a house".

The two stood silently watching for a while then Yui grabbed her husband's hand to pull him "Let's go there and see!".

They slowly walked closer to the house, looking closer it felt a bit like the small house they both had before. It's just that this house looks much older.

"Looks like this house is abandoned, dear" Yui said softly.

Gabimaru nodded slightly, it's normal to have an abandoned house in the middle of a deserted forest like this. But why choose to live in the forest instead of living with the people in the village, wouldn't that be safer to be in a crowded place.

And then he guessed maybe the previous owner of this house liked to live alone, liked the quietness just like him then.

His wife asked gentle "Do you want to come in?".

"Okay" The Shinobi sighed.

When both of them entered the house, the first thing that caught their eyes was that is full of dust and spiderbwebs. Also, the wooden floor and walls are cracked, it seems like this place has been abandoned for a long time.

The white hair man looked around, he suddenly thought that maybe sleeping in this house is not a good idea at all. Who knows if there's something in here that jumps out and maybe is a wild animals.

"You're sure you want to rest here?" Gabimaru asked his wife.

"I don't think it will be bad, we can clean this house a bit!" Yui hesitated "Besides, it's dark now, we have to rest for tomorrow".

Gabimaru listened to his wife and agree, to be honest he can still go on but he can't let his wife get tired. So Yui went looking for brooms while he went looking for candles to light up the house.    

While they started cleaning the place together, he looks out the front of the house and noticed about something.

Finally this house have one thing he liked about, it had the same front porch as his and Yui's previous house. It reminded Gabimaru when he used to sit at there and do a lot of things with Yui.

Like talking with her some random stuff.

Peeling chestnuts together everyday.

And he would often rest his head on Yui's lap to listen her sing with her beautiful hand stroking his hair.

He stood there and suddenly smiled at those memories without noticing that Yui came over, she slowly touched his hand and gently placed her head on his shoulder.

She chuckle lightly "I still missed them too... everyday".

"You're done yet?" Gabimaru also touched Yui's hand.

"Yeah!" Yui smiled "And I also found pillows and blankets too, they still very new so we can use them. I was thinking we can sleep in this room, it looks cleaner and is quite airy too".

He stroked her hair gently "Do whatever you want, Yui".

Yui happily went to get them while Gabimaru cleaning the remaining dust. When everything is done, the two began to spread the mattress and then lay down to rest.

His wife is probably already asleep but he hasn't, the white hair man can't sleep and just stares boringly at the roof of the house.

Then he looked over at Yui and gently turned his body to her side, he didn't dare to move too much for fear of waking her up but watching his wife sleep was still more interesting than staring the roof.

Gabimaru glance at her for a while and touched Yui's cheek lightly, her skin was soft and warm like a ray of sunshine.

The sunshine that gave him the strength to keep fighting.

Then suddenly Yui wrinkled her forehead causing Gabimaru to startled because he thought he had woken her up, he was about to let go but Yui moved closer to lie in his arms and continued to sleep. 

He blushed furiously, now he was completely stiff. Gabimaru slowly took a deep breath to calm down himself then he continued listened to his wife's steady breathing.

Seeing his wife sleeping peacefully like that made him feel happiness overflowing in his heart, he wrapped his arms around Yui tightly and kissed her lightly on the forehead.

"Good night, my love" Gabimaru said and also went to sleep.
