HELLBØUND - Being Human // S1 Episode 2

The next day, Y/N was seen in his room, thinking about his next move. While he is looking forward to hanging out with Loona, there was doubt in his head about his plan yesterday.

Y/N: ...

Deep down, he knew that it was wrong to exploit the two sides and put them together by lying to them and telling them not to worry about it, but he knows that they'll start to be skeptical and investigate for themselves. He was wondering if he should tell them the truth and just take the burden off his chest, but he fears that if he did, he could lose both his home and his job because both sides don't agree with one another. He clenched his fists, trying to think of his next move.

Y/N: ... Let's just enjoy the day and hang out with Loona. I'll worry about our next move tonight. So... What should I do?

He thought about how he could make Loona's experience and judgement on him better than it already is.

Y/N: I doubt that there's anything in Hell that'll allow me to be in the presence of other demons because I'm human... So... *eyes widen & gasps* That's it!

Meanwhile, Loona was seen at her desk at I.M.P., looking through her phone.

Loona: *yawns* I fucking hate waking up...

She felt her left ear flick as a door opened.

???: Hey, Loona.

Loona looked up and saw Y/N.

Loona: Oh. Hey, Y/N.

Y/N: Uhh... How you feeling?

Loona: *raises eyebrow* Fine. Like any other day.

Y/N: Okay. Just wanna make sure. Umm... So, I have an idea on what we can do for our hangout, today.

Loona: "Hangout"?

Y/N: Yeah. You wanted to hang out with me, remember? As friends?

Loona: ... Yeah, of course I did. But, I'm pretty sure it was the other way around.

Y/N: ... Whatever you say, I guess.

Loona: *thinking* Such a dumbass... But, I'm surprised he didn't argue with me. He just... accepted it. I can't tell if he's just being a dumbass or something. Or maybe... He's not trying to be as annoying as Blitzø or Moxxie. *normal* So, what did you have in mind?

Y/N: W-Well... H-How well do you know Earth?

Loona: Earth? The human realm? ... Why?

Y/N: Umm... *bites lips* How would you feel... about travelling to Earth with me?

Loona: *eyes widen* You want to take me to your world?

Y/N: Yeah.

Loona: ... What's the catch?

Y/N: There's no catch, I promise. The reason behind this is I can tell that when we first met, you really didn't like me very much.

Loona: I didn't like you because you were human, Y/N. I didn't like you because I didn't trust you. ... And I still don't. J-Just a little.

Y/N: Well, I wanna fix that by giving you a tour around Earth and how it works. Learn more about humans than what you know, now.

Loona: But, why me? Literally, you could've picked anybody to do this with you.

Y/N: I could, but Blitzø would just pass out to everything I say because he doesn't care, Millie... She's okay. And Moxxie... I'm not even gonna because he clearly hates me and... *whispers* He's racist.

Loona: *stifled laughs*

Moxxie: *off-screen* I'm not racist and I'm not fat!

Loona: Nobody said you were, fatty!

Moxxie: *off-screen* You just did, Loona!

Loona: *chuckles* Yeah...

Y/N: See what I mean?

Loona: I do, but it still doesn't answer my question. I'm the worst kind of person you'd wanna hang with, so why me?

Y/N: Loona...

He didn't like how Loona was talking down on herself like that, so he walked around the desk and held her shoulder, causing her to tense up.

Y/N: *pulls hand back* Sorry!

Loona: ...

Y/N: Loona, nobody said you're the worst.

Moxxie: *off-screen* I did!

Y/N: No one fucking cares about what you think, fatty! Shut the fuck up!

Loona: *eyes widen*

Y/N: Nevermind him, Loona. Look, you shouldn't listen to those kind of words if they don't help you. That's not... healthy. Hey, remember what I said the day I got hired?

Loona: ...

(Flashback)

Loona: ... Back there, what you said to Blitzø... Did you really mean that? You were trying to be my friend?

Y/N: ... Yes. I was trying to talk to you and get to know you so that we could be friends. Look, I don't know what I did to piss you off, but I'm sorry, okay? I didn't mean to.

Loona: ...

Y/N: If we were going to be co-workers, I thought why not try to get to know you. Why not try and be your friend so that we can hang out without having to be complete strangers to one another. But, how am I supposed to try if you won't let me? Is something wrong?

Loona: ...

Y/N: ... *sighs* Look, all I want is to be your friend. Nothing more, nothing less.

Loona: But, why me? Why me, of all people? I mean... You know how I am.

Y/N: True, but I refuse to believe this is actually who you are. I mean, a young lady who's so uptight and distant towards the people that try to befriend you? I know that there's gotta be something more to you than this.

Loona: What makes you say that?

Y/N: ... I have hope that... Deep down, you're actually a good person who's had a difficult life and is having a hard time trusting people.

(Present Day)

Loona: ...

Y/N: I can tell you do remember.

Loona: ... How can you be so sure about that, Y/N? You barely know me.

Y/N: ... I just... have hope. That's all I need.

Loona: "Hope"? There's no hope in Hell. Look out there. It's chaos.

Y/N: That shouldn't mean that you should just give up and let what's out there cloud your judgement. If anything, you'd be no better than everyone else if that's the case!

Loona: ...

Y/N: Loona, we may not know each other very much, but isn't that what this hangout is for? To understand each other? If so, then I wanna help you understand things in a different perspective. Because for this hangout, I want to take you to Earth. I mean, there isn't anything going on in Hell that's better than Earth, right?

Loona: ... N-No. I guess not.

Y/N: So...?

Loona: ... *sighs* Alright. I'll go with you.

Y/N: *fist bump to air* Yes!

Loona: But, I swear, Y/N, if I find out that you're just doing this for the wrong reasons-

Y/N: You won't. Because I have no ulterior motive other than that. You won't regret this.

Loona: *unsure* I better not!

She looks away and blushes slightly as Y/N pats her back to comfort her.

Y/N: *eyes widen* Wait... Oh, motherfucker!

Loona: What?

Y/N: I fucking forgot! You're a hellhound! How am I supposed to show you around if I can't risk you being out in the open?

Loona: Oh... Right.

Y/N: ... Hang on...

Upon realizing something, he turns to Loona.

Y/N: You're able to open portals, right?

Loona: Only if I have the grimoire in my possession. Anything else I can't do without it.

Y/N: ... If most of Hell's hellborn are capable of magic... Isn't there some kind of magic spell that can help disguise yourself?

Loona: Uh, yeah. It's called a "Human disguise." Demons can blend in with the humans to prevent their identity being revealed.

Y/N: If that's so, then are you capable of doing that? I mean, you still have magic if you're able to open portals.

Loona: ... Well, even if that's true, how am I supposed to- ... Oh. *blushes slightly* Right.

After a while, Loona had the grimoire in her hands and flipped through the pages to find a spell for her human disguise.

Loona: Ah-hah! Here it is!

She began to read through the page and made a discovery.

Loona: Wait... Hellhounds don't need the grimoire to do this? I... guess that makes sense.

Y/N: So, you ready to try?

Loona: I-I don't know, N/N. I've never really done this before.

Y/N: Well, it can't hurt to try, can it?

Loona smiled softly and looked through the page for the spell. After reading through it and got it memorized, she sets the book down and stood up straight. She breathed in and out slowly and closed her eyes. Y/N sat on the couch and waited. Suddenly, Loona was enveloped by a light blue flamed aura and Y/N was mesmerized by the light.

Y/N: *eyes widen* Whoa...

Inside the flame, Loona's shadow body began to change as her hellhound form started to change into a humans. Her snout was shorter like a human face, her hind legs were straight like a human, her tail was invisible, and her ears on her head disappeared and reappeared on the side of her face. Finally, her fur was replaced by skin and with the transformation finally done, the flame died down, revealing Loona in her newfound human body.

Loona: *opens one eye* D-Did it work?

She looks at her hands and flipped them to the back. She then looked all over her body to inspect the changes.

Loona: Holy shit! It actually worked! I didn't think it would, but... It did! Hahaha! What do you think, N/N?

She turned around to look at Y/N.

Y/N: Uhh... *shakes head* L-Like you're a completely different person. I wouldn't be able to recognize you if it wasn't for your hair and clothes. I mean... You're just as beautiful as you are as a hellhound.

Loona: *smiles* Thanks. I'll admit, this shit will... take some time getting used to, but I can handle it.

Y/N: Well then... Shall we get going?

Loona nodded and grabbed the grimoire.

Loona: So, where to, first? I can literally take us anywhere on the planet.

Y/N: Hmm... I have a few dream destinations in mind. But first, we need to get to my old hideout.

Loona: *raises eyebrow* You have a hideout?

Y/N: Yeah, but it'll be worthless now that I live here in Hell. If we're going to enjoy the hangout, we'll need money. And we're in luck because I happened to have some stashed away. For safekeeping.

Loona: Alright, where is it?

Y/N: *smiles*

Soon, the portal opened to a dockside and a warehouse, nearby. Y/N and Loona walked through it and Loona looked at the warehouse.

Y/N: Now, I know that it literally doesn't look like much, but it's the best I could manage if I wanted to survive.

They approached the door and Y/N picked the lock while Loona looked away for privacy.

Loona: So, how long did you have this hideout?

Y/N: Since I was a kid. This place was barely used by anyone, so I live in it. Lived, past tense.

Loona: Right.

Y/N managed to pick the lock and opened the door. Loona looked around while Y/N went to his desk. As he did, she looked there and noticed a photo.

Loona: *picks it up* N/N... Are these... your parents?

Y/N stopped what he was doing and sighed.

Y/N: Yeah... The couple you're seeing on that photo is my parents. F/N and M/N. And that baby? That's me.

Loona: So, where are they, now?

Y/N: Don't!

Loona flinched at Y/N when he snapped.

Y/N: ... I'm sorry. I don't... have the best attitude when it comes to my parents.

Loona: Why? Do you... hate them?

Y/N: ... To be honest, Loona, I don't know what to feel. I've never known my parents.

Loona: *eyes widen*

Y/N: The only time I've seen them is when I was a baby, so I don't remember much. ... But... For some reason... When I look at this picture... I'm not getting a negative vibe from it. It's almost like... I remember something. The only thing I remember is... my promise.

Loona: Your promise?

Y/N: A story... for another time. Let's just grab what we came for and head back.

Y/N went to his safe and picked the code while Loona looked at the photo. After what Y/N told her, Loona was starting to question a few things. After a while, Y/N grabbed a wallet and looked in it.

Y/N: Okay. That's it. Let's go, Loona.

He walks away and Loona followed with the photo in her hand. She puts it away in her hair and follows him out. They then went to a back alley and Loona grabbed the grimoire.

Loona: Alright, where to?

Y/N: ... Are you... interested in going to a park?

Loona: A park?

Y/N: I know that it sounds lame, but trust me when I say that the park is a nice place to go to when you want to wind down and relax. Just be away from society and be with yourself.

Loona: ... Well, Blitzø and Moxxie have been a pain in my ass with their stupidity and annoyance, so... I guess... we can stop by.

Y/N: And I know just the place to go to.

Soon, they arrived at a park where children were seen playing. However, when they arrived through the portal, Loona's phone went off and she looked to see Blitzø calling.

Loona: Ugh! Stupid Blitzø...!

Y/N: Is something wrong?

Loona: Fucking Blitzø calling me. He's probably calling to ask where I am.

Y/N: Loona, remember why we're here.

Loona: ... To be away from it all if I feel stressed...

She looks at the call one more time and declined the call. After putting her phone on silent, she follows Y/N into the park as they looked around, seeing adults with their children, parties, and children on swings while their parents push them. Loona walked ahead and looked around some more and Y/N smiled a little.

Loona: Whoa...

Y/N: Come on, Loona. I'll show you around the place.

He walked ahead and Loona watched. She thought about it and followed him. After a while of helping Loona adapt to the environment, they were now seen resting on a hill, laughing.

Loona: Wow, okay, that was a good joke, N/N.

Y/N: If you think that's funny, I've got a couple of quips for you to help deal with Moxxie. For starters... "You're so fat, your body has its own gravitational pull."

Loona: *snickers*

Y/N: "You're so fat, the last time you fell the dinosaurs went extinct."

Loona kept laughing at Y/N's jokes that she could barely control her laughter.

Y/N: One more?

Loona: *stifled laughs* Please...!

Y/N: "You're so fat, you don't get stuck in bathtubs, you get stuck in oceans."

Loona: *bursts out laughing* How the fuck... do you have so many of those jokes...?

Y/N watched as Loona continued to laugh and if he was being honest to himself, he really liked how she was laughing, seeing her smile.

Y/N: ...

Loona: *looks at Y/N* What?

Y/N: Nothing. ... It's just... You have a nice laugh.

Loona: *blushes slightly* Y-You're just saying that.

Y/N: No, no, I'm not. Seriously, Loona. I like your laugh.

Loona: ...

Y/N: What? Was it something I said?

Loona: No. You're okay. It's just that nobody's ever said that to me. Whenever they do, it's always about my ass or my body. But, you? You've never mentioned anything about my body...

Y/N: ... Well, I'm gonna be honest, you do look... beautiful. Like, you're not like any human girl I've ever seen or met. ... But, I was never one to tell someone based on their appearance. I'm... more into their character. Your character.

Loona: My character?

Y/N: Yeah. On the outside, you act like an asshole. Yet, that's not what I'm seeing, right now. I'm seeing a completely different person. Why is that?

Loona: ...

Y/N: I-I didn't mean to offend you or anything. I'm just saying... I like seeing you like this.

Loona: You do?

Y/N: *nods* I always knew you were a different person behind the asshole attitude. I just... wasn't expecting this.

Loona: ...

Y/N: Loona... Loo- *clears throat* Listen... I don't know what happened to you in the past that caused you to be like this, but I can guess that there was nothing good about it, huh?

Loona: ... *nods*

Y/N: Hey, I'm not like the other assholes who hurt you for fun. I really wanna be your friend.

Loona: But, why? Why me?

Y/N: ... I can't really explain it, but looking at you, human or hellhound, I'm getting a weird feeling that... you're not like everyone else. In a way... I understand how you feel because... I'm also... feeling the same pain you're feeling.

Loona: *eyes widen* You are? But... You look fine to me.

Y/N: That's because I try to hide the pain and suffering I'm going through so that I don't worry other people. In reality, I'm hurting. Emotionally. Because... All my life, I've been alone. For years when I was a child, I've lived on the streets, neglected and abandoned. But nonetheless, I've tried to be a good person and always try to do the right thing, even if it sometimes ends up getting me killed or someone else. I don't have a family to call my own.

Loona: ... So, that's why you wanted to be my friend.

Y/N: Yeah... Because I finally found someone who's also putting up a fake front to defend themselves from getting hurt. Even heroes can get scared.

Loona: ... All my life... I've been reminded about how I would never amount to anything in my life. How I won't be able to have anything I desired and wanted.

Y/N: And what was that you wanted?

Loona: ... To have someone to call a friend. And to have a family.

Y/N: What about Blitzø and the others? Aren't they... kinda like family?

Loona: Blitzø babys me all the time. He never lets me have any friends because he thinks they have a secret motive, Moxxie always criticizes me about my job because he's a dumbass, and Millie just wouldn't understand. Blitzø has a long way to go if I'm gonna be able to call him Dad.

Y/N: ... Well... In a way, they're already a family. They just don't want to admit.

Loona: And what makes you say that?

Y/N: Well, Blitzø is your father who worries about your well-being and comfort, Moxxie is like a big brother, and Millie is like your aunt. In a way, that makes you family. I don't know what it's like to be in a family, but even I know that. Trust me. I'm experienced.

Loona: ...

Y/N: Look, give it time, okay? For now, just... try to get a long with them when you get the chance. Otherwise, you'll miss your chance to have what you want.

Loona: ...

Y/N: ... But if you want, I can fill in the gap of being your friend. Of being someone you can turn to.

Loona: Really?

Y/N: Yeah. *smiles* All I ask from you is a chance. So?

Loona: ... *sighs* A-Alright. I'll try.

Y/N: There you go. You know, even if it doesn't look like much, your best is all that matters in life. If you're willing to try, then you're capable of a lot of things if you put your mind to it. Forget about what those bastards say about you. They don't know you the way I do. If anything, they're missing out on so much about you. And if they can't understand, then they're the ones who need to change, not you. And if they won't... Then they're a lost cause. Something that shouldn't be in your life if it's not gonna help you.

Loona: *eyes widen* Since when did you become a sage?

Y/N: *chuckles nervously* Just offering advice.

Loona: Sage advice. *chuckles*

Y/N: *chuckles*

Loona: ... Thanks, N/N. I really needed this. Y'know, for a human being, you're not what I was believed you would be.

Y/N: Well, whoever told you about humans doesn't clearly understand.

Loona: Well, Mr. Human Expert, care to enlighten me?

Y/N: Me? I-I mean, I don't know a lot, but I'll try.

Y/N began to talk to Loona about human history and the evolution of life. It took time for him to find the right words and learn how to explain things, but he was able to explain the history to Loona. After a while of explaining, Y/N and Loona headed to a dark alley.

Loona: Wow... That's a lot.

Y/N: Told you so.

Loona: ... So, humans are who they are because they're trying to survive?

Y/N: Survival is the most important part of life. And humanity is trying their best in their own douchey and bastardized way. Sure, it's unreasonable and inexcusable, but people always have a reason to do what they have to do to survive. Otherwise, why do it at all? ... But, you wanna know something, Loona?

Loona: What?

Y/N: To me, the terms of being human... are more than just what they appear. For example, you're a hellhound from Hell and yet, you have a heart. You're not what humanity believes you to be. Mindless killing machines hellbent on destruction. To me, what defines a human is not about the physical strength they wield, but the heart and soul to be who you want to be. Humans lack the strength of a demon or an angel, but true strength doesn't define a human being. It's their heart and soul that makes them human. What makes you human, Loona.

Loona: N/N...

Y/N: When it comes to emotions, the terms "Human", "Angel", and "Demon" are just ways of explaining who the person chose to be. In life, it doesn't matter if there's a Heaven and Hell. What matters is how you want to live your life as based on who your character is. ... *eyes widen* A-At least, that's what I believe in.

Loona: ... *smiles softly* Y'know, for a human, you're not what I was expecting you to be.

Y/N: *smiles* Just happy to offer some advice. And hey, remember what I said, okay?

Loona: Yeah... Don't worry. I promise I'll try.

Y/N: No promises needed, Loona. Just do it. Just try.

Loona nodded and morphed back into a hellhound.

Loona: So... What now?

Y/N: ... Why don't we just call it a day and... head back? I'm feeling a little tired. *walks ahead*

Loona: Oh... Well... T-To be honest, N/N, I... kinda wanna stay up here a little bit longer.

Y/N: *stops & turns around* Huh?

Loona: After everything you just told me, I wanna stay on Earth a little longer because I wanna learn more about this world. And I want you to help me understand things in a different perspective. So... C-Can we... stay a little longer?

Y/N: ...

Loona: Please?

Y/N: ... *shrugs* Okay. But, I can't promise that I'll be able to explain everything.

Loona: That's okay. I just wanna learn more.

Y/N: Then, I know a good place to start.

Meanwhile, Blitzø continued to call Loona and it always goes to voicemail.

Blitzø: Oh, come on, Loonie! It's not that hard to answer your fucking phone!

Moxxie: Y'see what I mean, sir? This is what happens when you give your daughter her free will. She slacks off to the point she's not even at work on time. Same with that human.

Blitzø: Your constructive criticism is most appreciated, Moxxie. How about you just shut the fuck up, already?

Moxxie: Sir, with all due respect-

Suddenly, the portal opened and Y/N and Loona walked through it.

Y/N: Ladies first.

Loona: *blushes slightly* Th-Thanks...

She walks through it only for Blitzø to hug her.

Blitzø: Loonie!

Loona shook him off and pushed him back.

Loona: What the fuck, Blitzø?! I'm fine!

Blitzø: Where the hell have you been?

Loona: Relax, I was with N/N.

Blitzø: Relax?! Loonie, you were with a human!

Y/N: Who is your employee...

Blitzø: Butt your dick out, prune. This is a family conversation.

Loona: Hey, don't tell him he has no right to talk! Blitzø, he just wanted to hang out with me.

Blitzø: And "hanging out" leads to your holes being fucked.

Y/N: *facepalms* He can't be this dumb. There's just no way.

Loona: Ew, Blitzø, it wasn't like that, at all. He's my friend.

Moxxie: Oh, well, ain't that just great? All the more reason for her to be slacking off at work.

Y/N: Oh, so you're saying she's not allowed to have friends?

Moxxie: Not when it involves her slacking off!

Y/N: You're one to talk when it comes to those calories you need, asshole!

Moxxie: I'm. Not. Fat!

Y/N: Never said you were.

Moxxie: You were thinking it.

Y/N: ... *scoffs* You don't get to tell her how she lives her life. She's allowed to do whatever the hell she wants.

Moxxie: Even if it means forcing the place to go bankrupt?

Y/N: How does free will lead to bankruptcy? Stop making up excuses for her to work like you clipped a leash on her! She's not a fucking dog and she doesn't deserve to be treated like one as if she needs to be muzzled, even if she is a hellhound!

As he was getting angry at Moxxie for claiming that he's trying to restrict Loona's free will, his eyes turned demonic.

Y/N (Demon): She's allowed to do whatever she wants and the fact that you have the fucking nerve to tell her what to do as if you're her father pisses me off to the point I wanna strangle you! So if you ever, EVER, try to treat her like a dog, again, I'LL SHOW YOU WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE BEHIND BARS SO THAT YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND THE PAIN AND SUFFERING!!! You understand me?

As he was breathing heavily, the whole room went silent at Y/N's sudden outburst. While Blitzø, Moxxie, and Millie were speechless, Loona was touched by what he said, but was also concerned about what happened. Y/N's eyes returned to normal as he spat near Moxxie's feet.

Y/N: No one likes a fun ruiner.

He wipes his mouth and walks out of the room while everyone watched.

Blitzø: Well, that was... something...

Loona: *worried* ...

Millie: Is he okay?

Loona: I'll go check.

She walks out of the room and watched as Y/N was looking out the window.

Loona: Hey, you okay, N/N?

Y/N: ...

Loona: ... What you said to Moxxie... You were also talking about yourself, huh?

Y/N: ... No.

Loona: What?

Y/N: ... I've seen my fair share of seeing so many people lose their will to do what they wanna do because of some fucking rules. I know that they're there to help people, but that doesn't mean that the rules are perfect. If anything, they're more like restrictions to some people.

Loona: ...

Y/N: Seeing people like Blitzø and Moxxie trying to tell you what you can't do pisses me off. To me, no one has the right to make that call.

Loona: Why do you say that?

Y/N: ...

Loona sighed as she approached him and held his shoulder.

Loona: Thank you for saying what you said back there, but try to get a hold on your anger. I know that I snap at him a lot, myself, but in the end, it wouldn't make you feel better. If anything, you'd be worse than before.

Y/N: That's the problem, Loona. I can't.

Loona: ...

Y/N: Ever since I was hired, my anger is ten times worse than it usually was. Back when I was... Alive? ... Every time I snap, it's like I'm a different person. I fear that it's a problem I'm experiencing. But now that my anger encourages something worse, I'm scared. Because I can't control it.

Loona: ... To be honest, N/N, I've never seen a human wield that kind of power. I don't know how that's possible, but... To be honest, you scare me when you're angry.

Y/N: ...

Loona: I know that I don't know much about you, but I know this much. You're a nice person. Seeing you act outside of who you are scares me. I worry about you.

Y/N: ... I know. That's why... I've always been alone. I didn't want people to worry about me. Much like how I was hesitant to take this job as an assassin.

Loona: So, why didn't you just walk away?

Y/N: Because of you.

Loona: *eyes widen*

Y/N: You know what I've been through. You know how I feel. That's why I chose to stay. Because you're the only person who understands me.

Loona: N/N...

Y/N sighed as he kept looking out the window.

Y/N: I'm sorry, Loona. I didn't mean to make you worry.

Loona: Don't be. I understand. It's okay, Y/N. I would've done the same thing you did. But last time I checked, a certain someone wanted me to give them a chance. Because even if they deny it, we're like a family.

Y/N: *eyes widen*

Loona: That someone is you, Y/N.

Y/N: ... *sighs* Y-You're right.

Loona: ... But if it makes you feel better, thank you for saying what you said to fatty. It's nice to have someone else do that because when it comes to Blitzø, it's different. I can't explain it, but...

Y/N: It's okay. I don't regret what I said back there. But, I'm not happy with how I just lashed out.

Loona: Then, let's go back in there so you can apologize. I know he doesn't deserve it, but it'll at least make you feel better.

Y/N looked at Loona and nodded. He held his hand out to shake her hand, but Loona hugged him, which stunned him to shock.

Loona: It's nice to have a friend like you, N/N, even if you have an attitude problem. Thank you.

Y/N: ... *smiles & hugs Loona* Same to you.

After a while, they walked back to the room and Y/N apologized to Moxxie for snapping at him. Y/N then explained to Blitzø what he and Loona were doing and are planning to do. Blitzø hesitated, but allowed him to hang out with Loona more. Throughout the day, Y/N has helped Loona understand more about how human history worked and then, took her to the mountains to give her a site to behold. As the hangout ended well, Loona has learned a lot, but she also got to learn a little bit about Y/N's past. And to make things better, Loona was starting to feel a dormant feeling that was unfamiliar. She didn't understand it, but it wasn't a bad feeling.

Loona: Thanks for today, N/N. I really enjoyed it.

Y/N: Thank you for giving me a chance. I'm glad I could help you out. ... Y'know, Loona, even though you're a goth girl, you're fun to hang out with.

Loona: *blushes slightly* I-I am?

Y/N: Yeah. You may have some... awkward elements, but I'm not saying that as an insult. Even with your flaws and imperfections, you're a good person. I'm really glad you're my friend.

Upon hearing him say that to her, Loona's tail started wagging and her blush darkened a little bit more as she held her fingers nervously and smiled.

Loona: *blushing* I-I... Umm... You... W-Well... Uhh...

As she kept stuttering her words, Y/N smiled and rubbed her head. Loona gasped softly.

Y/N: It's alright, Loona. Just relax and take it easy.

Loona: *blushing* ... Th-Thanks... I-I'm glad you're m-my friend, t-too... E-Even though... you're a human... who is my first friend I ever made...

Y/N: Well, I had fun today, Loona. I hope to see you again, tomorrow. We should do this, again, sometime. Sound good?

Loona: *blushing* Y-Yeah... Yeah... I'd like that.

Y/N: *touches Loona's nose* See you tomorrow.

He walks away, unaware of Loona being still like a statue after what happened, but her tail was still wagging and she was blushing more. When Y/N disappeared into the elevator, a lot was going on in her head, she didn't know what to say.

Loona: *barks*

She held her mouth as her eyes widened, but they glimmered.

Loona: ... *smiles & barks*

Meanwhile, Y/N looked at his hand.

Y/N: Again... It's happened, again... What's happening to me? And why is this happening? ... And... How?

A lot of questions were going on in his head as he was trying to figure out why he was embedded with demonic power and why it only works when he's angry.
