Harry POV

Rachel and I are walking to my car now.

I recently just got a Cadillac Escalade. My BMW is nice, but I wanted something more safe for Avery, Lydia, Alice, or Elise. I still have my BMW, I just got the SUV when I take out Eve and I's daughter. Plus the Escalade looks pretty badass.

"Can I ride shot gun?" Rachel asks me.

"Are you twelve yet?" I ask.

"I just turned eleven,"

"Then no," I say with a smug smile.

"Please? My Mom lets me sometimes," My eyebrow raises at her. "She does, you can go ask,"

"No," I say again. She gives me the puppy dog face which makes my eyes scowl. "Fine, but I get control of the radio still,"

"Okay," Rachel grins. She opens the door to my car and gets in. I go on the opposite side and open my car door.

Once I'm situated I make sure Rachel has her seat belt on. "Lock your belt," I say.

"It is locked," She says while looking down at the buckle.

I pull the belt out until it locks and she makes the 'oh' face.

"So, where have you decided we go?" I ask Rachel who has a smug smile.

"The nail salon," I knew it. "If that's alright with you,"

"That's fine," I say. She gave me the name of the salon and I put it into my GPS. "What color are you getting?" I begin to drive.

"I think a dark pink," She says. "You?"

"Do I have to get a color?" I ask while glancing over at her.

"Yes, it's part of the experience," I chuckle at her words.

"Fine, then pick it for me," I say. "Don't make it flashy," I warn.

"I won't," She snickers. "Oh, before I forget my Mom gave me some money for my nails and lunch,"

"You're not paying," I say.

"I have money on me though," Rachel says.

"So do I," I grin. "Everything is on me today, don't worry about it,"

"I'm still going to offer," She warns.

"I'm still going to turn you down," I say causing her to snicker.

"How's Eve?"

"Good," I say with a gentle smile. "She said hello,"

"Tell her I said hi back," Rachel says, I nod. "Have you picked a name for your baby yet?"

"We're debating on four names so it's still undecided," I tell my sister who nods.

"Don't make it a typical name though. Be original," I laugh at her words.

"We'll try," I make a left.

"How's Max?"

"Good. The other day he was eating my shoes," I say causing her to laugh.

"How nice of him,"

"Yes very," I agree sarcastically causing her to snicker. "How's Lexi doing?"

"Good. She keeps asking for a dog," Rachel huffs.

"You don't want one?" I ask with a raised eyebrow.

"I've been asking for one since I was five and it's always been no. But when she asks it's like Jesus himself is asking, so they always say yes,"

"So, you're getting one?"

"They're looking for ones tomorrow," She tells me. "They're going to the shelter Eve volunteers at."

"It's a lovely place," I say. "I don't think your Mom and Patrick said yes to her on purpose though. Maybe they've been thinking about for a while,"

"I doubt it," She murmurs. "I've asked and it's always been a hardcore no. Lexi asks and they think about it and she gets it,"

"Does that bother you?"

"Yeah," Rachel tells me. "I never get what I want but Lexi does. Was it like that with you growing up?"

"My Mom always turned me and my sister down with unreasonable things. If we wanted pizza one night she would get us it. But if I wanted a new lego set out of the blue she'll tell me no most of the time. It did keep me from becoming spoiled,"

"Lexi is spoiled," Rachel mumbles making me snicker. "I love her, but she's spoiled,"

"At least you're getting a dog," She shrugs her shoulders and nods. "Do you like living there?" I ask.

"Patrick and my Mom are nice people," Rachel assures me. "It's just that I feel like they favour her over me," She admits. "I know Patrick does because that's his daughter but my Mom does it a lot,"

"I wouldn't take it personally," I tell her. "It's just because she's the youngest,"

"Maybe," She says. "Do you think you'll spoil your daughter?"

"Yeah," I say with a chuckle. "It will be a rare case when I don't," I look over to Rachel who smiles at me. I smile back and pull into the parking lot of the salon.

"Do you like the color purple?"

"If it's a dark purple I'll wear it," I say. "If it's a light purple then no,"

"Okay, so dark colours?" Rachel clarifies.

"Yes," I say. She nods and unbuckled her seat.

We get out of the car and walk into the salon.

I've never gotten a manicure before. I never wanted too or needed too. But hey, it's an experience. I also got a hand massage which was new.

Rachel picked a dark purple color for me which was fine. I looks black but in lightening it's a noticeable purple.

She got a dark pink that was called "magenta". It's a pretty color that I wouldn't want. We also got our feet done which I hated.

If I could keep my feet in the hot water and kept it at that, I would be fine. I didn't like my feet being touched or whatever they did. I was too ticklish. But, it made Rachel laugh so that's fine.

We're in the car now going to lunch. "Thank you," She says to me again.

"You're welcome," I say.

"How's your feet?" She giggles.

"They feel disturbed," I answer with a snicker. I cringe at the thought of doing that again. The manicure was fine. The pedicure I didn't like.

"At least you got a matching set now,"

"All of my dreams have come true today," I joke causing her to laugh. "Have you gotten any new lego sets lately?"

"No," She says. "I've been playing with the ones I have and rebuilding a few. Some are wobbly so I'm fixing it,"

"How interesting," I say.

"Very," Rachel murmurs.

"Are you into barbies?"

"No, I never was," She informs me. "I was more into the blocks and puzzles,"

I nod. "Barbies scare me," I admit.

"Your daughter might like them," I huff.

"Maybe she'll want lego's instead and not the stupid American girl dolls,"

"She'll probably want both," Rachel hums.

"I know but I can dream," I say. "They're just so odd and weird,"

"They're only weird if you make them weird," I chuckle at her words and pull into the parking lot to the diner.

Rachel wanted to go here because she says they have good food. I didn't argue because I just wanted her to be happy today.

"Do you like your name?" My sister asks me randomly while we eat.

"I do," I say. "Do you?"

"It's alright. My Mom could've done better," I shake my head at her words and place my fork in my mouth. "Did your Mom name you?"

"I'm pretty sure," I say.

"What's your middle name?" She asks curiously.

"Edward," I say. "What's yours?"

"Promise not to laugh," Her green eyes meet mine.

"I promise," I say.

"Matilda," She mumbles lowly.

"That's not mad," I assure the eleven year old. I sip my water and speak. "I've heard worse,"

"I think it's a weird middle name," She informs me.

"It's different, that's for sure," I tell my sister.

"Yeah, it could've been Marie or Rose," I smile at her words.

"Yeah, you got a point," I chuckle.

"What's Eve's middle name?"

"Francesca," I tell her.

"That's nice," Rachel says, I nod in agreement. "It makes my middle name seem worse," I laugh at her words and she smiles. Her dimples appear on her cheeks making mine appear.

Once Rachel isn't shy around you, she's a cool kid, in my opinion. I'm glad I've gotten to know her, we have a lot in common.

"We're gonna make a small trip somewhere, is that alright?" I ask Rachel before I take her home. The radio is on but it's low so we can still have a conversation.

"Yeah, that's cool. Where do you need to stop at?" She asks.

"Ah, you'll see." I grin to myself and make a right once the light is green.

We stand in lego land at the mall staring at the different sets they have. Her green eyes are wide and scan every box she is able to see in sight.

"Get what you please," I tell Rachel. She looks at me, eyes still wide and shocked.

"That's too much," She says.

"My bank account says otherwise. Think of it as the ten other birthday and Christmas's I missed," I say. Her eyes soften and me.

I feel her arms wrap around me tightly and her head press against my stomach. I hug her back and smile. "Thank you for today," She tells me. "It means a lot,"

"It's no problem," I say. "Now, lets get the coolest sets, yeah?"

She nods against me and we soon start walking around the store in amazement.

The boy lego's are still better than the girl ones.

I get home around five.

I'm greeted by Max who is jumping on my legs. He's gotten a lot bigger than from when we gotten him months ago.

I walk to the den and see Eve watching TV. Her eyes look to me and she smiles. "Did you have fun?"

"I did," I sit beside my girlfriend and kiss her cheek. "How are you doing? Good?"

"I'm doing great," Eve assures me. "I like the nail color,"

"Thank you," I say with a soft chuckle. "I got a pedicure today and I hated it,"

"Ticklish?"

"Very," I say. I lean back more and sigh. "I would never do that again," Eve snickers and rests her head on my chest. "How's the baby?"

"Good. She was kicking a lot earlier. I don't know, I'm just ready to push,"

"You have another month," I remind her. My girlfriend shrugs.

"I know, I'm just done," I smile softly and kiss the top of her head. "In a good way though. I just want to hold her and stuff already. Plus my back is on fire,"

"Want me to rub your back?"

"Yes please," I smile at her words. Eve turns her back towards me and I start rubbing her back like I have been the past few months. I don't mind, it's least I can do.

I'm excited to be a Dad again. The closer we are to October the more nervous I am though. I just want everything to be alright for once.
