CHLOE PAGE KNEW A THING OR TWO ABOUT BAD DREAMS.

Evil had introduced itself to her when she was too young to understand it and it had been in her mind ever since. Every night when she rested her head, darkness and blood infected her dreams and showed the young girl nightmares her developing brain could never have come up with. They said she was crazy, disturbed and dangerous. Even her own Mother thought so. 

Kids avoided her school. She would often hear them whisper 'My Mom said to stay away from Chloe Page, she's a freak' around the playground, like a game of Chinese whispers but the message never got distorted. As a child, it was harder to hide her ability. Her somewhat strange capability to talk to those that had already passed on. But when she got older, Chloe began to realise that she could tell those ghosts to go away and most of the time, they would listen.

With High School came a fresh start for Chloe Page. Nearly everyone from her middle school went to the same High School but she was determined to begin again and that meant attending somewhere they didn't. So, with her prescribed meds in her bag and a determination to have a new life at school, Chloe started High School. And finally people began to talk to her like she was a normal person and not some 'freak' as the parents of her previous classmates had dubbed her. She was just Chloe.

But that didn't last forever.

Her medication usually wiped her out at night so her Mother would take the opportunity to go into the city and party to her heart's content. Chloe obviously knew, not because she was a bit psychic, but because her Mother was a terrible liar. And so it continued this way. She would go to bed and wake to find her Mother half-asleep and drunk beyond recognition. This had been going on for years. But one night, something... strange happened.

Chloe was yet again given terrible nightmares. But this time, it was about her own Mother.

And when the police coming knocking at her door, Chloe realises that what she saw was true. She had witnessed her own Mother's death.

Thrown into this case by her dreams, Chloe is recognised by another psychic, the one with the police. It seemed that the night her Mother was killed, Chloe and this other psychic had shared a dream. They had been connected. Her name was Allison Dubois and she vowed to protect and help Chloe Page no matter what.

With her Mother's killer still on the loose, Chloe must help her new friends and the police to solve the case. All the while something is on the horizon that she can't yet see. Because as it would turn out, she did have a Father after all and his name was Lee Scanlon.

 • Chloe is just like Allison and is a psychic. 

• She may be young but she is already very powerful. She can see ghosts, have premonitions of the past and future and she's good at guessing. 

• Chloe takes meds for her dreams as her Mother took her to the doctor, but they don't really work. Instead they just knock her out so she doesn't wake up for a while. 

• Chloe sees what happens to her Mother as well as Allison. Allison can tell someone else is there. Sometimes Ali and Chloe share dreams and in the future, they can tell when they're sharing a dream.

notes:

• Chloe is one badass, lesbian psychic and I love her so much. Feel free to give her an OC love interest if you want. She deserves love.

•Lee is so supportive of her. He's worried about the fact that she's psychic but he does his best to help her and he's completely okay with her being a lesbian. 

• Chloe usually wakes up startled but sometimes, when she sees something so bad, she screams. She's still a teenager so she hasn't had as much time to desensitise herself to these things as Allison has. And when she does wake up screaming, Lee immediately goes to her room and comforts her.

• The relationship Chloe has with her Mother is complicated. Harley never hit her daughter or anything like that. She had Chloe quite young so she missed out on the prime of her life and blames Chloe for that. So she makes sure Chloe takes her meds and is passed out before leaving to go partying. Harley is more neglectful than abusive.

• After Chloe finds out Lee is her Dad, she doesn't call him Dad until later. Her relationship with her Mother has made her sceptical on the idea of family. So she just calls him Lee to start with. You can decide when she calls him Dad.

• Lee and Harley were high school sweethearts which is why he recognises her. Harley never told him about Chloe.

• Chloe would love Allison and the family. She grew up with no family and Allison is helping her with her ability, helping her to feel normal. And the girls adore her and she adores them. It's like Chloe finally has sisters.

• Chloe ends up becoming a cop like her Dad so when she's old enough she enters the police training program.

• Act 1 would start with the case of Harley Page. Chloe dreams about it. Harley is raped and murdered in an alley outside a club. Lee is called to the scene with Allison and IDs the body, goes to her house and is surprised to find a daughter there. Allison can sense that they met before in their dream. She is the one to encourage Lee to take the DNA test. Chloe stays with Allison until the case is over. And after the crime is solved, she lives with him.

ACT ONE
medium season three

• She most likely arrives early/mid-season 3. Now Chloe is living with Lee and is determined to be like Allison and use her gift to help solve cases, but he refuses. This just adds tension to their already complicated relationship. Chloe's first big case is helping Allison with the SOS Killer. From then, her involvement is on and off. Because of how infrequent Chloe helps at this point - and her age -, Allison does not tell the journalist about her so she isn't outed as well.

ACT TWO
medium season four

• Chloe is still helping solve cases but she has to be more careful now as eyes are on Allison for her psychic gift. She occasionally helps Allison with cases for Cynthia. Chloe wants to help her Uncle Manny become DA again. Chloe dreams about when Cynthia kills the woman who helped kill her daughter. Chloe is now starting to see Lynn as more of a mother figure instead of just her dad's girlfriend so they're growing close.
