ONCE UPON A TIME, IN A LAND KNOWN TO MOST IN LEGEND, LIVED A HAPPY COUPLE BY THE NAMES OF MERLIN AND NIMUE. Merlin was the most powerful sorcerer in the whole of Camelot but his love for Nimue was much stronger. And their love resulted in something they both would die to protect: their daughter, Morgana. 

But like all good things, their quaint family life came to an end.

Nimue, with her heart consumed by vengeance, drank from the Holy Grail and bestowed upon herself power that should never have been released. She became the first ever Dark One and was the epicentre of the evil plague that tore through lands and decimated all in its wake. Morgana lost both her parents in one move. Her Mother was now consumed by darkness and had trapped her love, her daughter's father, in a tree that not even Morgana could tear him from. She was made an orphan by her own Mother.

But Morgana was not alone because with her Father's Apprentice at her side, the two carried on the great sorcerer's work and helped the realms become safe from the darkness. The Apprentice spent his days guarding her Father's hat and ensuring each Author was on the right path whilst Morgana travelled the realms and ensured they were protected from the Dark Ones that came after her Mother. 

The never ending cycle of evil led her to Rumpelstiltskin in the realm known as the Enchanted Forest. He had to be one of the most cunning and devious Dark Ones she had ever met and achieved things that the previous bearers of his dagger had only dreamed of. And it was in this land that Morgana got swept up in a large purple cloud which stripped her and everyone else from the land.

For twenty eight years, Morgana was cursed to live in a town where she was normal. No magic. No memories. 

She had a quaint little shop on Main Street with herbs, crystals and holistic medicines which she sold around the town. And for some reason she didn't know, the Mayor of Storybrooke was frightened of her. The most powerful and manipulative woman in town was afraid of her. Morgana couldn't quite make sense of it. Then, the curse holding them there was broken by a kiss of true love.

Morgana was herself again and once the Dark One had restored magic to their small pocket of this new land, she felt better than ever.

But Morgana did not want to stay. For there was such a big world out there to explore and she wanted to see it all. And besides, the town had their own issues to deal with concerning Regina and the consequences of breaking the curse. She wasn't sure if she wanted to get involved with that. So, by using all the magic she could muster after decades, Morgana managed to slip across the town line without any memories nor magic slipping away.

But her time in the Land without Magic didn't last too long without being spotted. Because one day a man by the name of Nick Fury came knocking at her door and demanded an explanation to the magic he had seen her do just hours prior. It didn't take her long to realise that the man before her was a defender of this Land so she told him the truth. The whole truth. And instead of locking her away in some highly guarded prison or a psych ward, he asked for her help. He wanted her to join the Avengers Initiative.

So that was what Morgana did.

Now, with an Asgardian God on the loose with a glowing blue space cube, Morgana is called in to help. Here she must use her magic to help her new home and people, just like she had done in the Enchanted Forest and in Camelot. But she must keep her secret safe as she grows closer to the members of this so called 'Avengers' all the while she's growing close to one genius in particular.

• Yes, Morgana's cursed name is Morgana because she's that powerful. Honestly, if she was to tap into her full potential, she could probably destroy all the realms if she wanted to. 

• In Storybrooke, Morgana is the quirky lady in town who has a shop full of organic remedies and crystals. Magic without the Enchanted Forest or Camelot.

• Morgana has met every dark one to have ever existed. She has made it her mission to prevent that darkness from becoming what it is capable of: a plague that will destroy every realm. 

• After leaving Storybrooke, protected by her spell, Morgana retains her powers in the Land without Magic but they're much weaker than they used to be. Still, Morgana is an incredibly talented and powerful sorcerer.  

• The Avengers and Tony don't know about Morgana's truth. Tony finds out when she gets the call about the death of the Apprentice (who Morgana loved like a brother and had known for a millennia). And when Morgana and Tony return from Storybrooke, she reveals to the others what she's been hiding. Wanda already knew because of her telepathy thing but honoured Morgana's wishes and said nothing.

notes:

• She's Merlin and Nimue's daughter so she's like the oldest person in Storybrooke.

• Morgana also knows a lot more about magic and the way the world works than Rumpelstiltskin much to his displeasure. He knows she's more powerful but doesn't like to say it aloud.

• And because Morgana is more powerful, she found a way to escape Storybrooke immediately after the curse, without losing her memories, and whilst keeping her magic. Basically, imagine the barrier as a thin wall, when Morgana stepped through it, she made it so it formed around her like a bubble. If the bubble breaks, she loses her memories and magic, but that won't happen. It's almost impossible.

• I feel like Morgana would find The Dragon some time during her stay in New York and they would know each other considering how old they both are.  

• It takes a while for Morgana to tell the others she's actually from Camelot and that fairytales are real. They just think she's some sort of old witch until she eventually tells them. The only one who knows is Nick Fury. 

• They like to joke about how Morgana has a name from Arthurian Legend and chose an Arthurian legend related hero name.  

• Gotta love Thor and Morgana bonding over how much older they are compared to everyone else and how he's in awe of her type of magic. 

ACT ONE
avengers assemble

• After leaving Storybrooke after the curse is broken, Morgana makes her way to New York. Blending in in New York is much different than Storybrooke so she struggles and Nick Fury finds her. She explains everything but makes him promise he won't go after Storybrooke. He keeps an eye on her and then recruits her to join the Avengers. Tony obviously flirts with her instantly. Thor and Loki are surprised by her magic as they thought Earth didn't have any. Morgana is fascinated by science as it's basically magic (Tony disagrees). They truly bond and he's a part of her life by the end.

ACT TWO
post-avengers assemble

• Tony often stops by her apartment and checks in on her before they move into Avengers Tower. Morgana senses some magic in New York and is confused and follows it to find Gold, Emma and Henry. Henry is in awe of her. She returns to Storybrooke for a little to help before going back to New York. Morgana helps Tony with finishing up the tower and they kiss and get together. No one yet knows her truth. 

ACT THREE
iron man three

• Morgana and Tony's relationship is going well which is probably because no one knows yet — apart from Happy and Pepper. She can tell Tony is struggling and tries her best to help him. She doesn't completely take over Pepper's place as Pepper is still injected with the serum and Morgana goes with Tony after his home is blown up. But it is Morgana who falls. And both Tony and Pepper are devastated. But she's okay and they come out as a couple publicly.

ACT FOUR
avengers age of ultron

• Morgana and Tony are together. Morgana finds out Robin and Marion are in New York and invite them to Tony's party. She even invites Gold as Robin tells her he is also in the city. Morgana doesn't know Tony and Bruce are working on Ultron. When Wanda uses her magic on her, she sees how hopeless she was when her father was turned into a tree. Morgana tries to protect everyone she can at Sokovia, but it isn't enough. She and Tony go off together.

ACT FIVE
ouat season 5a

• Storybrooke phone Morgana to tell her of the apprentice's death and she's heartbroken. She has to tell Tony the truth, finally, about who she is and where she's from. She then returns to Storybrooke WITH Tony and goes with them to Camelot. Morgana is home and the people welcome her. She's very useful as she knows Camelot as well as every Dark One that has ever been. Tony is in awe. Morgana is hurt with Robin at the ball. In Storybrooke, Morgana and Tony remain to find out what happened and she's devastated to hear of her Father's death. Then her Mother comes back. But they don't go with the gang to the Underworld and return home.

ACT SIX
captain america civil war

• Morgana doesn't like the accords but signs them anyway. Besides, Ross doesn't know about Storybrooke so if she broke the accords, she could run away to other realms. She's reluctant to enlist Peter's help because he's a kid and reminds her of Henry. Morgana hates seeing the team like this and barely fights them. She's saves Rhodey!!!! He's still got a broken bone or two but nothing as bad. She understands why Steve did what he did, but she's still upset. 

ACT SEVEN
spiderman homecoming

• Morgana and Tony are watching out for Peter and she's growing to really care about the boy. Honestly, these two are such parents when it comes to Peter. Tony has meetings, but Morgana goes to his decathlon match. This act is a lot about Tony and Morgana becoming more of a couple and coping with what happened to the Avengers. Tony proposes to Morgana in front of the press, but then surprises her a few days later and does it the way he wanted to. 

ACT EIGHT
ouat season 7

• Morgana gets an email from Lucy asking for her help. It's how she finds out about the new book and she realises it isn't a mistake and she goes to help. But Morgana is pregnant so Tony is reluctant to let her leave, but he knows she can take care of them both. Morgana keeps an eye on Weaver because she knows he usually wakes up before anyone. Lucy is just happy that she has proof. Pregnant Morgana bonding with bartender Roni, love it. Morgana is a little confused by the whole time travel, new Hook etc. But the book Henry wrote clears up enough. At the end, the curse is broken and she returns to Tony.

ACT NINE
avengers infinity war

• Tony and Morgana are already married now, but she has just had their baby (you can decide the name) so that's what Strange congratulates them on instead. Strange is obviously intrigued by her magic as it isn't like anything he's seen so later they have a little discussion about that. Morgana goes to space and fights Thanos. She's devastated when Peter's dusted and all her and Tony can think about is their child. 

ACT TEN
avengers endgame

• They return to earth where Pepper immediately reunites them with their child. They're both too weak to go find Thanos again. Five years later, their child is older now and they also have a 2 year old (again, you can decide their name). Steve comes asking for their help and they eventually agree. As a good luck charm, Morgana gives Tony a magical pendant her father gave her. Morgana sticks with Tony in the time heist. Tony still does the snap and they have a funeral. BUT a few days after, she finds the necklace and it's glowing. She takes her children back to the united lands (whose magic protected them from the snap) and uses magic and the pendant and Tony is brought back!!! But he can't leave the Good Queen's domain.

• A sweet epilogue would be nice of Tony and Morgana raising their children.
