LORENA WINCHESTER NEVER ASK TO BE 'GOD'S CHOSEN' OR WHATEVER, BUT HERE SHE WAS. She was barely in double digits when her Mother — and unknowingly, her Father too — died, leaving her all alone. Then in swept the angels who claimed she was special with a glorious purpose, so who was a lonely girl to argue. She had nowhere else to go.

Her Mother had raised her to look for miracles in the simplest of things. So when angels came knocking at her door, Lorena Winchester was a bit sceptical. Why her? Why was she so different? What was it about her that made angels leave their heavenly posts to retrieve her?

And then she found out why.

Her Mother never knew her Father, he left before she was born, and Elizabeth Marigold never knew why. But Lorena found out. Her grandfather was a cupid. A lower class of angel but an angel nonetheless. And it was this heavenly blood that allowed Lorena to become the the very thing the angels left heaven to retrieve — a hand of God. 

Surely it was impossible? A young girl to be a hand of God? But it was true.

The angelic blood following through the veins of a Winchester was what allowed her to become one of the most powerful creatures on the Earth. And she had no idea. 

She also had no idea of her Father's passing; having sold his soul to a demon to save the life of his son. And before he left the mortal plane, he made his sons promise him one thing: that they would find Lorena. But when Sam and Dean got in the Impala and drove across states to the address in their Father's journal, their sister was nowhere to be found.

For Lorena Winchester had also left the mortal plane, but she was technically still alive. Because heaven was a peculiar place for someone who wasn't fully an angel. She could enter it without dying and when she did eventually die, she would return. Heaven was good enough, although they refused to let her see her Mother. They said they would if she fulfilled her purpose in their upcoming apocalypse. 

The world was ending. Lorena wasn't that surprised. But what really rattled the newly-made teen to her core was the appearance of a man who seemed... familiar to her. And that man was Dean Winchetser.

Finally united with her brothers, Lorena Winchester must do her best to help them stop the apocalypse. And it seemed she would probably doing all the heavy lifting; not because she was this so-called 'Hand of God' .... but because her brothers were idiots.

• Lorena's mother is the daughter of a cupid which technically means she's a Nephilim. But because cupids are lower angels, the others didn't really sense it and they decided to leave her alone. Lorena's mother didn't really have a relationship with her Father because he's a cupid which is why she gives Lorena John's last name so she would at least have something.

• Due to the fact her mother is half cupid, it means she does have some angelic blood in her system which makes this all possible. Because in the show, the hands of god are good for one hit only but due to the heavenly blood in her veins, it means she has something to keep God's power tethered.

• Her powers: she can occasionally explode power and light (works the same as Kevin's demon bombs but it usually saves the possessed person if they're still alive) but it takes a while to recharge. She's strong and fast. Because of her faceclaim, she basically has Ava's powers from warrior nun - like phasing. 

•Lorena can he injured mortally but the only way she can be killed is the way angels are.

• She has a specially made sword for her made of angel blade metal.

• She can access angel radio but it is a bit low in volume and she isn't naturally fluent in enochian. She naturally knows a few words and the rest is her learning, courtesy of herself and Castiel.

notes:

• Lorena is another Winchester and ends up loving her older brothers so much. She's 13 when they meet her for the first time so they're very protective of her. They basically become more like father figures than brothers. 

•John and Lorena did have some sort of relationship but considering how he only has boys, he doesn't know how to interact with a daughter so they're awkward and he wasn't much of a Dad. But on his death bed, he asks the boys to find her — they are very shocked — and when they go to the address, she isn't there and they search for her for a while but can't find her.

• Lorena lost her Mother not long before John died and when she passed, the angels came in and recruited her. They wanted to train her to be their ultimate weapon as they knew of her power (which she didn't yet) and they helped her use and control it. They, of course, knew the apocalypse was coming so they had to get her ready.

• Chuck befriended her Mother and basically became her unofficial godfather (I know, it's funny because it's 'god'father). He bestowed Lorena her powers when she was a baby but didn't tell anyone.

• Bobby doesn't like her hunting as she's young but he knows she's not like any other kid. He loves her like his own and he's never really had interaction with kid girls and his reaction is the opposite to John's as he does his best to understand and help her. He's so sweet with her, especially as he knows she's been through a lot.

• If Lorena has a love interest, I would imagine it to be much later on and most likely an OC because she's a lesbian. 

• Lorena is shocked and angry to find out the truth about Chuck

• Jack becomes her brother and Castiel is like a Dad to her 

• Basically, Lorena is called to the same green room as Dean in the season 4 finale to prepare for the apocalypse. There he realises that the girl is his missing sister and when Cass sends Dean to help Sam, Lorena joins him. You could include this in act 1 or make a really long prologue, whatever works for you. 

ACT ONE
supernatural season five

• The Winchesters are rescued by God and Dean finally explains to Sam who Lorena is. They are shocked when she knows Chuck and the two reunite (the boys are angry at a lot of people for not telling them about Lorena). The angels keep trying to drag Lorena back to heaven, but she refuses. She wants to stay with her brothers. She agrees that she's allowed to stay only if she returns when they need her the most. They say Lorena is meant to be like a referee to the battle so she's definitely there at the end.

ACT TWO
supernatural season six

• Lorena lives with Dean and gets some form of a normal childhood back. She almost instantly knows something is wrong with Sam, but she doesn't know what. She can hear some of the angel war over the radio. The relationship between Lorena and Samuel Campbell is awkward because he's her brothers' grandfather, but not hers. She is using her powers more. 

ACT THREE
supernatural season seven

• Lorena is devastated by what has happened to Cass — and heaven. She is accepting the title of 'Hand of God' much more now and she's trying her best to help the angels rebuild heaven. Lorena knows something is up with Sam and it takes a while, but he confides in her, and he does this before Dean knows. She tries to use her powers but they don't do much, just soothe his sleep a bit more. She is broken by Bobby as he was now a father/uncle/grandfather figure in her life. She is very surprised to see Cass alive. 

• Lorena does not go to purgatory. She vanishes and ends up under the control of Naomi. Dean is very angry to hear Sam abandoned her too.
