Hey guys! I know an unexpected update well even I was not going to update but then wrote this before the exam could start and completed today. So enjoy it and most awaiting part.

Give lot's of comments since I have updated during my exam time. Also note that this is just an unexpected update. There won't be more updates till I finish my exam.

Avoid mistakes if any.

16 years before

A lady was walking/pacing in the living room of the mansion all worried with a 4 month old baby bump.

"Manik, where are you? It's so late." Nandini mumbled looking at the watch.

"Mumma!" She turned only to see 10 year old Rehaan and a 5 year old crying Aradhya near the stairs.

She got all worried seeing them like that. Moving closer to them she asked

"Kya hua? Aru aap kyun ro rahe ho?"

"Mumma, she fell down from the bed." As soon as shs heard Rehaan, she took Aradhya towards the sofa and checked whether she got hurt or not. Her hand had become all red and she knew she cannot move her hand.

"Rehaan aap Aru ke sath raho. Mumma abhi aayi." Pecking Aradhya's forehead she moved towards kitchen and living room passage and took the car keys.

Holding Aradhya in her arms she moved out of the house with Rehaan following her.

"Shh! Bas rona nahi. Abhi hum doctor ke paas jayenge phir aapko doctor theek kar denge." She said wiping her tears. Rehaan opened the door for her and Nandini let her stay on the back seat and fastened the seat belt. So did Rehaan.

Taking the driving seat, Nandini drove to the nearest hospital which was 10 minutes away. While driving she told Rehaan.

"Rehaan, call papa and tell him. Here." She handed him the phone and he immediately called him holding Aradhya in his arms.

"Phone nahi utha rahe hai." He said almost crying seeing his baby sister crying really badly.

"Try again baby. Please." She said and he bobbed his head. He called him again and on the last ring Manik picked it up.

"Hello, Nandini I'll be la...."

"Papa, aap jaldi aao... please." Rehaan cried listening his voice as he is his strength and he being not with him is really difficult.

The other side

Manik was busy with his friends since after a long time they were jamming. Though they don't make music but just for the sake of keeping them sane they were doing it.

The music was so loud that Manik's ringtone was not audible. For nano second they stopped when Manik heard his phone ringing.

"Guys. Need to take the call." Saying this he picked it up.

"Hello, Nandini I'll be la..." But before he could complete he heard and crying Rehaan on the phone.

"Papa, aap jaldi aao... please." He got worried listening him.

"Rehaan, kya hua hai? Aap ro rahe ho?" He asked desperately without caring his voice was on top of his voice making others attentive towards him.

"Papa, woh Aradhya ko hospital leke ja rahe hai. Aap please aa jao. Mumma, main aur Aru akele hai." Rehaan said all hiccuping and he even heard Aradhya's cries.

Manik immediately took his coat and taking the car keys he immediately left without listening to his friends questions.

"Ajeeb hai. Bina bata ke chala gaya." Mumbled Dhruv to which they agreed.

"Baby stop crying. I'm coming. Jab hospital pahuchoge tell mumma to call me okay?" Manik asked him settling inside the car and getting a positive response he cut the call.

After few seconds his phone rang with dhruv's number. He immediately picked it up.

"Manik, why did you leave like that?" He asked a bit desperately.

Before Manik could reply he got a call from Nandini. He cut the call if Dhruv and picked up Nandini's call.

"Hello, Nandini send me the location. Which hospital are you in?"

"Manik, we are near our hospital. Please don't drive harsh." Manik hummed and cut the call and drove as fast as he could.

Here when Manik the call all became angry at it.

"Seriously? Call cut kar diya. Itna bhi kya important tha call?" Dhruv said angrily.

"He looked worried. Kuch hua hoga guys. Anyways it's already late. We should go." Said Cabir taking his coat and left.

In hospital

Nandini and Rehaan were in the emergency area. Aradhya was getting checked by the doctor and they were beside her.

"I guess she fell really hard on the floor. We need to take x-ray." The doctor said to which Nandini bobbed her head.

"Mumma. Paining..." Aradhya cried as it was really unbearable. Nandini gave her a sad smile with tears in her eyes.

"Nothing will happen baby. Aap toh strong baby ho na? See doctor aapko treat karenge phir dekhna aap kitne jaldi theek hote ho." Nandini said wiping her face to which she bobbed her head.

"Aru, stop crying. You know even I will cry now." Said Rehaan controlling his tears.

Soon enough Manik came there, seeing his family there crying in pain was the least he had expected. Seeing him Rehaan hugged him through his waist where as Aradhya cried all the more.

He moved towards Aradhya and seeing her right hand swollen his eyes welled up.

"My strong baby you are." He said pecking her forehead.

"We should get her x-ray." The doctor said. Manik lifted her and followed the direction towards the room. Even Nandini and Rehaan followed them.

After half and hour they were done with it. By now Aradhya's pain was subsidised.

"Luckily the bone is fine. I'll prescribe some medicine make sure to give her. And also she shouldn't use her hand that much. Nothing to worry she will be fine." Nandini and Manik bobbed their head. They came out if the hospital with sleeping Aradhya and Rehaan.

"I'll tell Mahesh to get my car tomorrow. You sit." He said making Nandini sit in the passenger seat and let Aradhya and Rehaan sleep on the back seat making sure that Aradhya doesn't hurt her hand.

Taking the driver seat Manik started driving towards their home. He glanced at Nandini who was still worried and was glancing in rear view mirror.

"How did this happen?" He asked, she looked at him and taking deep breath she replied

"I was waiting for in the living room since it was all late. But Rehaan and Aradhya came down and told me that she fell down. I didn't know exactly what to do so I immediately took her to hospital."

"Are you fine? I'm sorry, I forgot to inform you. Tch! I feel like pathetic now." He said groaning slowly. She stared at him and let out a big sigh.

"Jo ho gaya so ho gaya. We can't change. Anyways, just keep driving I need rest too." Nandini said making him bob his head. Soon they reached home. Opening the door Manik picked up Rehaan and took him inside to his room and made him lay down where as Nandini waited for him to come.

He came and held Aradhya carefully and took her to their room and Nandini followed them. He made her lay down on the bed and kept her right hand on the pillow carefully.

"Sleep Nandini, you are tired. I'll get changed and come." Pecking her head he moved inside the washroom. Nandini took the support of the headrest and settled over there caressing her hair.

Soon Manik also came out and seeing her awake he moved towards her.

"She is fine Nandini." He said making her bob her head.

"Can we talk?" Nandini asked to which he bobbed his head. She indicated him towards the couch. They moved towards it and settled down over there.

"Where were you earlier? You know how worried I was." Nandini voiced out her worries leaning on hus chest wrapping her hands around her baby bump.

"I was with Fab 5. I'm sorry I couldn't tell you. I thought I will finish soon and come home. But it took longer time." He replied making her sigh deeply.

"How are you feeling?" He asked roaming his hand on her arms.

"I was scared. Manik you know na how sensitive she is. You were not there, I couldn't even console her. Please try to be early at home. They miss alot." She said looking at him with sadness in her eyes making him feel guilty. He pecked her forehead and replied

"I promise. I'll be home by 7:30 or by 8 clock. I know it is difficult for you to handle these two and now even new member will be coming. I'm sorry, I'll try to be with you all the time, with our family." She bobbed her head and soon she slept in the same position. Manik picked her up and made her lay down on the left side of Aradhya and he came and lied down towards the right side.

Keeping his distance from Aradhya's hand he slept putting off the bed lamp.

Few days passed with taking care of Aradhya. Her hand was recovering. Manik started working from home itself but if there was any important meet he would leave promising his family to come home early.

Today it was Sunday and to enjoy the day Fab 5 were at Malhotra Mansion. They all were having their lunch peacefully. Nandini was feedibg Aradhya since she can't move her hand that much.

"Mumma! Bas." Cribbled Aradhya making her nod. Manik who was sitting beside her made her drink water.

"Acha guys, I need to meet a really important client near by. You guys be here." Manik said getting up from his chair.

"But Manik, aaj sunday hai." Nandini said to which Manik replied

"Janta hun. But he is really important client. I'll come home by 5." Sighing she agreed and continued to eat. Others sighed seeing him leaving.

"Acha Nandini, how did she fall?" Alia asked curiously making her look at her and reply

"I have no idea, may be she turned and fell. But she is recovering." She bobbed her head and continued to eat. It was almost 4 and children were playing with each other and out of nowhere they asked to play hide and seek.

"Mumma aap bhi khelo. Sab khel rahe hai." Said Rehaan making Nandini smile at him.

"No baby, you all play. Mumma is tired. I will go and sleep. Guys you all be here." She said and got up to go. Others started playing once she left to her room.

After half hour she started coughing badly. She took the jug to see it empty. Taking it in her hand she moved out only to notice the house to be silent. Thinking that they might be in the garden, Nandini moved towards the stairs when someone from came and said

"Bhoo" Nandini got scared that she slipped from the stairs. Rolling down from top till the end of the stair resulted in hurting her belly, forehead and he elbows. Rehaan who came inside shouted seeing her...

"Mumma!"
