Recap: Ragini's past

Ragini heard the sound of the door shutting. She fears under the shower, her head was leaning on the cold wet tiles, her eyes were widen and she was breathing heavily.

"Ragini! What happen to you? Talk to me... here look I have gone under the test for you!" He showed her his reports of fertility. He went to the doctor and give his sperm sample to see if there is any problem.

Ragini saw that. "But Laksh, why you went under this test. I mean there wasn't a need for it!"

Laksh nodded. He come closer rubbing her arms. "I know, but I thought to show you, that I'm there to support you! I haven't forgot your wish of a child. I know I'm working a lot, but I'm always there for you!"

She hugged him. "Thank you! But I have changed my mind!" She left from there.

Ragini wipes her tears away. She stood up and shaded her pain away. Ragini wrapped herself in a towel looking at herself in the mirror.

The steam of the hot water had blurred the mirror. She wipes with her hand on the mirror. I hate myself for this lie, if has ruined everything, but I couldn't tell him. I couldn't.

"Ragini please get ready. The party is going on, they are waiting for you and me!" Laksh shouted.

Their parents have decided to give a spontaneous party for their anniversary (many months later)

Ragini was ready

"Wow maybe we should stay here!" He smirked, but she didn't give any heed to him.

"Laksh I already met a few of them. You go I just have to adjust myself!" She looked into the mirror ignoring him.

Laksh pouted and left downstairs.

Ragini come out of the bedroom, she had worn a simple dress.

She comes out in a full outfit. Laksh was looking at the ceiling, one of his hand was resting on the couch the other one on his lap. He was rubbing the finger of his hand, which was on his lap.

Ragini could feel his anger and the pain. The sound of the bell made both aware of the other one. As both went to the door.

Ragini opens it. "Abhay, you? What do you want?"

Abhay smirked. "Everything you can give me!" He said with a dirty smile on his face, he didn't know that there was someone hearing him.

Laksh opens the door and pulls Ragini inside the apartment. "Everything!" His voice was filled with hate and anger. He come out and punched Abhay.

Ragini frighten. She heard this anger once, the hate in his eyes, was the same she had seen and felt once.

Thaadh

"Ragini how could you do this to me!"

Ragini was holding her cheek, the one which was burning after receiving his hateful slap.

"You told them that I'm impotent how could you do this?" He shouted at her while she was lying on the bed crying.

"You had no right to do this, it was you, who said you don't want a child anymore! Then why you did this"

She didn't looked at him, she couldn't met his gaze.

Laksh anger raised more. "You have no idea how I felt the moment, like someone dragged me into corner and I can't come out of it!"

Laksh bend down to her, he hold her wrist tightly. "You have no idea what you did, you have betrayed me! I have LOVED you, but now I hate you!"

Laksh pressed her arms more. She felt the pain. "You know if I wanted I could have cleared it all, in one moment. My test results are here present and would have shown that the problem isn't with me, but then I had to defame you. What I can't! I want to keep you save from all those bad words, but not the way you chose!" A teardrop fall on her face, she looked up and saw into his face.

The bangles broke on her wrists...

The sound of a broken glass brought Ragini back to the present. "Laksh!". She shouts at him.

Ragini rushes to him to prevent him to do something wrong. Abhay was lying on the ground, the blood was oozing from his nose.

Ragini saw that a frighten. "Laksh please!" She stood in front of him and closed her eyes in fear. Not to get a slap from him.

Laksh was fuming in anger. "Idiot how dare he to ask for something/everything. Your my wi... ex-wife, you are related to me! You won't help him out. He got my apartment!". He keeps murmuring under his breath.

Ragini nods. "I won't help me promise!" She dragged him into the apartment and closed the door behind them.

"Laksh please don't do anything wrong, he isn't worth it, I promise you I won't help him!"

Laksh shook his head. "I give a damn to your promise!" He looked at his hand, which was bleeding. Ragini saw it too and comes closer to him. "Should I give you first aid?" Laksh shook his head. "No, I don't need it".

Ragini closed her eyes. "Laksh please let me help!". She went into her bedroom and opens the cupboard. She looked for the first aid kit and heard another sound.

Ragini comes out and found the living room empty. She had heard the door shut and saw a note at the couch table.

Can't live without under one roof. If he harassed you again, I will kill him!

Laksh.

Ragini falls back on the couch. Laksh I have lost everything with one mistake I had committed. I want you...

"Ragini the dream of having a own child with you died with this relationship!" He stood up and left the room and stayed in the guest room...
