It was a stormy day. I look outside my window and stare at the drops of water running down the glass. Flashes of lightning could be seen in the distance and the loud roar of thunder could be heard soon after. It's been nothing, but rain the past few days. Rain is so gloomy.

I turned my head to my nightstand next to my bed. I look at the clock that was resting on the nightstand. It was 6:30. School doesn't start till 7:45. I dressed up in my uniform, grabbed my bag, and took an umbrella with me. I open the door to my dorm and lock it once I was in the hallway.

My room number is 307, it's on the third floor, seven doors away. I go to the first floor of the building. I look around at the lockers of the first floor. I spotted the number, 307, and took out my keys from my bag. I opened the locker to check for any letters or mail. A white envelope was laying on the metal locker.

I carefully gripped the edge of the envelope and pulled it out. It was nicely sealed with a wax stamped with the letters "G" and "O". I rubbed my fingers against the wax, then unsealed the envelope. I slide the paper that was inside onto my hand. I took the envelope and placed it under my arm to unfold the paper.

It was a letter from my school on recent changes. I didn't bother to read it, since I guess it's probably not of importance. I placed it back in the locker, being too lazy to bother going back to my dorm to store it, and opened my umbrella to walk out of the building.

A few minutes of walking to school, I spotted a familiar face. It was one of my closest friends, Chi. Chi has light brown hair with purple tips, caramel eyes, and freckles on her cheeks. Chi and I were childhood friends. Chi was an orphan, just like me, and went to the same orphanage. Chi and I were really close until I was adopted. The family that accepted me as their own was really kind and understanding. Golden Oak High School was a great high school that I wanted to join. I was accepted and was required to move into a dorm. It so happened that Chi was also accepted and we were reunited during the long wait for our dorms.

I saw Chi talking to a few other people. Chi was always one to make friends quickly. I walked over to her and greeted her. She smiled and replied back. We walked to school together talking about a new fast food place that opened nearby.

"Koshukei, why don't we go there this weekend?" Chi asked. I thought about it for a second.

"If my schedule doesn't get foggy, then maybe we can go." I replied. I wasn't sure if any of my teachers will assign me a project or more homework before the weekend. An idea then came to my head. "Why don't we invite the rest of the guys?"

"Huh, oh okay." Chi said hesitantly. Chi doesn't like big crowds. I don't know why, since she is so friendly and outgoing.

"Speaking of the guys..." Chi said snapping me out of my thoughts. Chi pointed to a small group of people. "There they are."

Some Story Info

1. This will be a short story with only a couple of chapters.

2. This is a Psychological/Horror story.

3. All Character names are translated from normal English words to Japanese words. (Pronounce based)    

4. Koshukei is written like this, 絞首刑 ,in Japanese.

5. The school, Golden Oak, is based off of my school mixed in with some Japanese customs.
