"Mary, are you doing anything?" Raven asks me as I was on my way to my room "what's going on?" I asks

"Can you replace me and listen to the radio? In case they make any contact" She says "yeah, sure" I says before I sits down in her chair next to the radio

"Thank you" she says "anytime" I smiles before she runs towards Clarke. Her, Lexa, Octavia and a couple of grounders brought some guy from Mount Weather

We were waiting for Bellamy to get I contact with him, but now we didn't hear from him

"Hey, Mary?" Raven asks as she comes back "they didn't made any contact yet" I says as I stands up

"No I- I uh, wanted to apologise for being a jerk to you" she says "is this about what happened on the drop ship?" I asks, she nods before she takes a sit, I take a chair and sits next to her

"We can't judge each others, you only wanted to protect Finn. I think what you did was fucked up but I am not the one you should apologise to" I says

"I am not going to apologise to Murphy" she chuckles "he's not here nyways" I shrugs

"Where is he?" She asks "in his way to the city of light" I says "no way" she chuckles "yeah, I know. I tried telling him it's a big joke but I don't know, he's searching for his place in this world" I says

"Good luck for him" she sarcastically says "look, I don't mean to speak for him or anything. You have every right to be mad at him, but don't judge me for being his friend" I says

"I am not" she says "it feels like you're punishing me for it" I says "look, it's not like that" she says

"So how is it like?" I asks "okay, maybe it was a little bit, but he fucked my leg up" she says

"I am sorry about your leg, but it's not my fault" I says "I know, I am sorry. I should've try to get to know you" she says

"It's okay, I haven't really tried either. I can be a little bit mean when people meet at first, but that's not because I am a mean person. At least I'd like to think I am not" I says

"So why are you pushing away people before they even get to know you?" She asks "I am scared to attach to people, I just don't want to get hurt" I explains 

"I understand that, but I am glad I got the chance to talk to you, you sounds like a wise person" she says "thank you, I am glad we got that chance too" I says

"I gotta ask, how a wise person like you becomes friends with Murphy?" She asks "me and Murphy knows each other since we were 14, our parents used to date for a couple of months but we had a special bond. He really helped me back on the Ark" I says

Flashback

"Mary!" Murphy says with a smile as we both meets at some abandoned warehouse on the Ark me and him discovered, we both decided we could go there when we don't feel like staying home. We were there a lot.

"Hi" I smiles back at him as he hugs me "yo, what happened to your face?" He asks as he notices a couple of bruises on my face

"That thing? It's nothing. I just- I fell on the way here" I says "you fool no one" he says "what do you want me to say?" I asks

"Why are you defending him?" Murphy asks, referring to my dad "I am not" I says "it can't go on like this" he says

"He said he would stop drinking soon" I says "and you believe him? He's fooling you, Mary. And your falling for it" he says

"What do you know?" I snaps "Mary-" he says "no! What do you know about my dad that I don't? I know him better than you, okay?" I says

"I don't know your dad but I know you're falling for his lies every single time" he say

"well fuck you, you know nothing about my dad" I says "I am just trying to tell you the truth, at least I am honest with you" he says

"I am not honest with you?" I asks "no, what's that scar on your arm that you never talks about?" He asks and I am about to leave but he stops me

"No, you're not leaving, you're not going" he says "what do you want know, what? You don't want to hear that I got fucking cigarettes put out on me when I was a kid" I says

"I didn't know that" he says with a broken voice "you don't want to hear that shit, Murphy!" I says

"I do-" he says "don't tell me you want to hear that shit!" I cuts him off "I want to hear because I want to help you!" He says as I sits down, letting myself sob

He sits down next to and put his arm on my head letting me rest my head on his shoulder as he pats my hair

"I just want to help you" he says "I am sorry" I says. I don't know how he would've put up with me back then, I was a real pain in the ass, but I was in a lot of pain too.

"You don't have to be sorry" he says "I just yelled at you" I says with tears "this? Nah, you should see my mom yelling at me, this wasn't yelling" he says making me chuckle through my tears

"You know I'll always love you, right?" He says "you promise?" I asks "promise" he gives me a small smile

It was one of our last conversations on that warehouse. We were 16, before both of us got arrested.

It was before he cut me off on the Ark, it hurt me a lot, I thought he broke his promise, but he didn't. He was just pushing my away, and I let him

"But the things he did... how can you forgive him?" she asks "the same way you forgave Finn" I says

"It's not the same. He lost it, when Finn did what he did in that village he wasn't himself" she says "I could say the same about Murphy" I says

"But Finn didn't kill our own people, he killed grounders" she says "Murphy killed people that hung him for no reason, Finn killed innocent people" I says

"Finn was a good person!" She snaps "I know, okay? I am not blaming him. I am just trying to explain myself" I says

"I am not going to forgive Murphy" she says "I am not trying to get you to do that, you asked me why I forgave him" I says and she nods as she starts working on some device

"What's that?" I asks "it's the device the mountain man use for controlling the Reapers, Clarke gave me this to replicate this frequency, the mountain man they brought had this" she explains

"So if this works you can control the Repears?" I asks "yeah" she nods "that's smart" I says

"I am going to need to work in this, it's kind of boring" she says "nah, that's cool. I don't have something better to do" I says

"Murphy is gone so you don't have someone to annoy?" She laughs "shut up" I laughs too

"Oh, mary. What are you doing here?" Clarke asks says as she walks towards us "bringing Raven some company" I says

"I hope she doesn't disturb you" Clarke says to Raven "she's cool" Raven says looking at me with a smile

"Well, does it work?" Clarke asks as she "Yeah, I can totally replicate this frequency" Raven says as the device was humming

"Good. If we can't neutralise the Repears, the tunnels are an option. Get on it" Clarke says "you don't need to give me orders, I got this" Raven says

"Raven. Any word from Bellamy?" Octavia asks as she walks towards us "nothing yet" Raven says "Lincoln's still missing too. He should be back by now" Octavia says

"They will be okay" Clarke says "they better be. Your whole plan rests on Bellamy getting in" Raven says

"He will" Clarke says before we heated a man on the speakers "Councillor Kane and Clarke Griffing please report to the south air lock immediately"

"We'll finish there later" Clarke says, Octavia walks away a moment after her "what if I go in there?" I asks

"You won't have anyone to show you the way in there, and the repeats-" she says "okay but you said you could use this to control for the Repeats, without killing them" I says

"No, Mary. You don't have a way in, you're not thinking straight" she says "it's not the first time someone says it to me" I says

"Clarke won't let you go in there" she says "Clarke doesn't have to know" I says before Clarke walks in

"What Clarke doesn't have to know?" She asks "nothing" I says "Mary" she says "I want to get in there" I says

"We've been there before, Mary" she says "why did you come in here? What happened?" Raven asks

"We're too late. They are already bleeding them. It's over" Clarke says "what?" I asks "No. You don't get to give up, Clarke. You killed Finn and I didn't give up. I am building a damn tone generator, do your job" Raven says

"What is my job?" Clarke says "I don't know. To come up with something" Raven says "I have tried" Clarke says

"Camp Jaha, this is Mount Weather. Anyone read me?" We heard Bellamy through the radio "holy crap" Raven says as we all runs towards the radio

"Bellamy?" Clarke says to the radio "Clarke?" Bellamy asks "are you all right?" Clarke asks "I am fine. But that's it for the good news. We have to talk fast. Something has changed" Bellamy says

"Jasper, Monty, everyone is locked in the dorm" Bellamy says "but they're alive? All of them?" Clarke asks

"I think so. For now. Maya says they're already taking their blood. Things will get ugly in here real fast" Bellamy says

"Maya is with you?" Clarke asks "she helped me escaped. If not for her, I'd be dead. And Clarke. There are kids in here. We need a plan that doesn't kill everyone, please tell me we have one" Bellamy says

"I hear you, but we can't do anything until you disable the acid fog. Raven is gonna help you" Clarke says "got it" Bellamy asks

"You have it figure out a way to free the grounder prisoners. There's an whole army inside that mountain and they don't even realise it" Clarke says

"A Trojan horse. Good plan" Bellamy says "what does Maya think? Is it doable?" Clarke asks "she says it's lot a problem" Bellamy says

"Clarke, if I am gonna pull this off, I need you to buy me some time. It won't be long before they realise I don't belong here and if that happen-" Bellamy says

"That can't happen" Clarke cuts him off "I'll come up with something" Clarke adds "come up with it quick" Bellamy says

"Copy that. And Bellamy?" Clarke says "yeah?" He asks "you came through. I knew you would" Clarke says

"All I've done too far is not get killed" Clarke says "you're up" she says giving Raven the radio "what are you gonna do?" Raven asks

"Keep on looking outside instead of in" Clarke says "Mary, stay with Raven. Help her, okay?" She asks "yeah" I nods

"Raven, don't let her do something stupid" Clarke adds before she walks away

Murphy's pov

"Sir, do you recognise anything?" Caspian asks Jaha "the tent was near here, I am sure of it" Jaha answers

"What's the matter? You guys got some place better to be?" I ask. Me, personally I actually has some place better to be in

Not really a place, but a person. But the thing is, the place Mary is in right now is her place, not my place

But I need to find my own place, this is what all of this is about.

Jaha stops making me confused "You see anyone?" I asks before he keeps walking. A girl appears saying something in grounder

"We mean you no harm. Do you speak English?" Jaha asks "what do you want?" The girl asks "nothing. It looks like you could use a hand. What are you doing out here alone?" Jaha asks before the girl takes her head cover off and puts her knife down

"My brother and I were on our way to the city of light when waste landers attacked. They took our horse. All our water, everything. They killed him. This cart is all I have left" the girl explains

"Give her some water" Jaha says, I reached to my bag to get her water, I felt for that girl

"No, no, no. We barely have enough ourselves here" Caspian stops me "touch me again and I'll end you" I says before I sees Jaha glares at me

"In a non criminal way" I adds as I face him with my hands raise before I walks towards the girl and offer her water

"It's okay" I says before she takes the water "we're on our way to the city of light as well. What's your name?" Jaha asks

"Emori. Everyone in the dead zone is looking for the city of light. Almost no one finds it. I can get you there, if you pull my cart" the girl says

"Done" Jaha says "thanks for the water" Emori says as she hands me back my water "it's, uh- it was not problem" I smiles at her before we all keeps walking

She was interesting for me, she seems tough. Not as tough as Mary, but still... tough.

"So I gotta ask, what made you ditch your home and risk your life to cross the beach from hell?" I asks as I was walking besides Emori

"It doesn't matter" Emori answers "come on, take my mind off all the fun we're having" I sarcastically says

"It wasn't my decision to leave" she says "kicked out?" I asks but she stays quite

"Okay, now I am interested. What did you do?" I questions "if I told you, you would not look at me the same" she says

"Maybe. Then again, I might surprise you" I says "what about you? How did you end up in the dead zone?" She asks

"I could tell you the gory details but since you're one of the few people on this planet who doesn't hate me at the moment I don't think I wanna blow it" I says

With how much I love Mary, she knows me, she knows what I've done. Even if she doesn't hate me, she could never forget what I've done

She could forgive, but not forget. It doesn't really help me when people knows me. I know she loves but it's because she's different

She never judged me, maybe only when I kidnapped Jasper, but that's on me. Other people aren't like her

"Now I am interested" she says "okay, you really wanna know? I killed two people, tried to kill two more. I had my reasons, but nobody cared. I am the bad guy" I explains as I looks at her, scanning her expression. She stays quite and doesn't say anything, that says it all

"I told you I'd blow it" I says before she taps on my arm and stops, she looks around before she takes her glove off.

"My people saw me as a stain in the bloodline, something to erase" she says before she keeps walking. Her hands was for sure different, but not something to erase. "screw them" I says making her stop and returns to face me

"I won't cover it up. I think it's pretty badass" I says making her laugh and turns around "liar" she says as she keeps walking, I follows her

"Chancellor! Look out!" Someone says as a few people loads their guns and points it at a grounder on a horse that appears

"Hold your fire!" Jaha says as I feel Emori grabbing me and putting a knife on my neck "wait, wait, wait" I says

"Everybody, put your weapons and supplies in the cart and nobody gets hurt" Emori says "if we give you our supplies we'll die out here" Jaha says

"If you don't, you'll die right here" she says as she holds the knife tighter towards my neck "do as she says. Now" Jaha says

"How is your faith holding up, chancellor?" I asks "shut up" Emori says "unwavering" Jaha says

"You don't want to do this" Jaha adds as he takes a steps towards Emori "stop walking" Emori says

"We all came out here searching for a better life, same as you. Maybe we can find it, if we work together" Jaha says

"Thanks, but no" Emori says as the man on the horse yells something to her "now, everyone back away from the cart and get on your knees. Now!" She says

"Do what she says" Jaha says "you too" she says before she lets go of me "what a surprise. You're just like everyone else" I says before she whispers something in my ear

"Good luck, John" she says before everything turns blank.

"John" I hear Jaha says as I opens my eyes, it got dark "come on, we gotta go" he says as I cough "there, he's up it's about time" Caspian says

"Quite, Caspian. You're alright?" Jaha asks "if he's not, we're leaving him here" sample says "I am okay" I says as Jaha helps me gets up

"It's time to go home" Caspian says "and where exactly is that?" Jaha questions "sir, I know you're trying to take us to a better place but look around. We've got no good, we've got no water, and no idea how to find it" Caspian says

"Due north. She said Due North" I says "what is due north, John?" Jaha asks "she was talking about the city of light" I says

"Did she say that?" Caspian asks "no" I answers "did she say how far due north?" Jaha asks "no, she didn't. But she wouldn't be sending us there if we couldn't make it" I says

"Who's that? The liar and the thief who robbed us and knocked you out? Sir, I really hope you are not considering this" Caspian says

"John, we have no weapons and no rations if we go north and you're wrong then all of us will die, if we turn back now... we live" Jaha says

"So that's it? We've reached the point of no return? You wanna give up?" I asks "I didn't say that" Jaha says

"You didn't not say it either" I shakes my head "that is the North Star" he points at the Noth Star "after you" he adds before I starts walking away

" the rest of you need to decide for yourselves. But either way, we'll come back for you when we find it" Jaha says before he follows me

"Sir, this is a mistake. You're not gonna find it. You're not gonna make it" Caspian says

"I believe this is what they call having faith, John" Jaha says "faith? No, I just got nothing better to do" I says
