"You'd have to be able to get out camp at some point" I says as me and Octavia were trying to talk Jasper to step out of camp, just to show him he shouldn't be so scared

He's terrified ever since we brought him to camp, I understand him. I am not expecting him to run into the woods but he have to get out of camp at some point

"Mary, can I talk to you?" Murphy asks as he walks up to me "fuck no" I says "it'll be just a minute" he says

"I am not talking to you" I says "it's okay, I am with Jasper, you can go" Octavia says "I am not talking with him, he wanted to kill Jasper" I says "what?" Jasper asks

"It wasn't like that, let me explain" Murphy says and I sighs "if you need anything I am here" I says looking at Jasper

"I'll be fine" Jasper says before Octavia walks him out of camp

"What the fuck do you have to say to me?" I asks "I though he was dying, I though it was for the best" Murphy says

"I don't give a shit, I am not your friend, I don't care about you, I won't wait for you to be a good person. Like you said, you don't own me anything" I says "you don't understand, he was in pain, he freaked people out" he says

"No, you don't understand, Jasper is all I got, you know it. Every thing that puts him in danger is my enemy, you're my enemy" I says "you don't mean that" he says before I hear screams, I run towards the screams

"Jasper, come on, there's nothing to be afraid of" Octavia "what happened?" I asks "nothing, just a stupid prank" Octavia says before Jasper falls down, him and Octavia stares at the ground for a moment

"What is it?" I asks before I sees two fingers with a knife next to them laying on the ground

"This knife was made out of metal from the drop ship" Clarke says. We reported her and Bellamy of what we saw

"What do you mean?" Jasper asks "who else knows about this?" Bellamy asks "no one. We brought it straight here" Octavia answers

"The grounders didn't kill Wells, it was one of us" Clarke says "yeah, that's not good" I says "so there's murder in this camp?" Jasper asks

"There's more than one murderer in this camp. This isn't news keep it quiet" Bellamy says before Clarke is about to walk away but he stops her

"Get out of my way, Bellamy" Clarke says "be smart about this" Bellamy says

"Look at what we achieved. The wall, the patrols. Thinking the grounders killed Wells is good for us" Bellamy says

"Good for you, you mean. What, keep people afraid and they'll work for you? Is that it?" Clarke says

"Yeah. That's it, but it's good for all of us. Fear of the grounders is building that wall. Besides, what are you gonna do, just ask the killer to step forward. You don't know whose knife that is" Bellamy says

"Oh, really? "J.M". John Murphy" she says "Murphy killed Wells? It doesn't make any sense" I asks "it makes the perfect sense. The people have a right to know" Clarke says walking away

"You son of a bitch" Clarke shoves Murphy "what is your problem?" He chuckles "recognise this?" She raises his knife

"It's my knife. Where'd you find that?" He asks "well you dropped it after you killed Wells" she states

"Where I what? The grounders killed Wells, not me" He says "I know what you did, and you're gonna pay for it" Clarke says "really? Bellamy you believe this crap?" Murphy asks

"You threatened to kill him. We all heard you. You hated Wells" Clarke says "plenty of people hated Wells. His father was the Chancellor that locked us up" Murphy says

"You're the only one that got into knife fight with him" she says "yeah, I didn't kill him then, either" Murphy says

"He tried to kill Jasper, too" Octavia says "come on, this is ridiculous. I don't have to answer anyone" Murphy says

"Come again?" Bellamy says "Bellamy. Look, I am telling you, man, I didn't do this" Murphy says "they found his fingers on the ground with your knife" Bellamy says

"Mary" he says looking at me, searching for me to tell them it wasn't him. Part of me wanted, part of me believed him, but the other part doesn't trust him.

"Is this the kind of society that we want?" Clarke starts "you say there should be no rules, does that mean we can kill each other without punishment?"

"I already told you, I didn't kill anyone" Murphy says "I say we float him" someone says "that's not what I am saying" Clarke says

"He deserves to float. It's justice" someone says "revenge isn't justice" Clarke says "wait!" I says "it's justice, float him!" Someone yells before the crowd starts to yell "float him" in repeat

"No! Get off him!" I says as everyone starts kick him "Clarke!" I yells "stop this!" Clarke yells "get off of me!" Murphy yells

"Let him go!" Clarke yells as they ties him up, everything happens so fast. They pushed him and tied a rope to a tree

I didn't want Murphy to die. I don't know why, but I still feel sympathy for him. I didn't forgive him, but I still didn't want him to die

"You can't do this! Clarke!" I yells "you can stop this! They'll listen to you!" Clarke says to Bellamy

"Bellamy, you should do it" someone says "Bellamy! Bellamy! Bellamy!" Everyone cheered

"I saw you on the woods with Atom, I know you're not a killer. Bellamy don't do this. Don't do this" Clarke says as me and Murphy shares a look, he shakes his head

"Don't. Bellamy" Clarke says as he goes for the rope "you can't do this!" I yells "I didn't kill him, listen to me" Murphy begs before they hang him "No!" I yells with tears

"How could you?" Clarke sobs "this is on you, princes, you should've kept your mouth shut" Bellamy says to Clarke

"What the hell are you doing? Cut him down!" Finn says "Charlotte get out of here, cut him down! Now!" Finn says

"Just stop, okay? Murphy didn't kill Wells! I did!" Charlotte says "oh my god" Clarke says taking an axe and putting Murphy down, I feel Jasper grabbing me out from the crowd

"Are you okay? It was tense" Jasper says "I am fine" I nods

"Being out the girl, Bellamy!" Murphy yells "being the girl out now!" Murphy yells "shut up!" I yells at Murphy

"She's just a kid" I says "she killed Wells, she's not a kid" he says

"You want to build a society, princess? Let's build a society, bring her out" Murphy says

"Well, look who decided to join us" Murphy says Bellamy gets out of the tent "dial it down and back off" Bellamy says

"Or what? What are you gonna do, Bellamy, hang me?" Murphy asks "I was just giving people what they wanted" Bellamy says

"Yeah. Yeah, that's a good idea. Why don't we do that right now?" Murphy asks turning to the crowd

"So who here wants to see the real murderer hung up? All in favour?" He says raising his hand, only a few raising their hands after him

"I see. So it's okay to string me up for nothing but when this little bitch confess you wanna let her walk? Cowards! All of you-" Murphy gets cut off by Bellamy

"Hey, Murphy. Murphy. It's over" Bellamy says "whatever you say, boss" Murphy says, as Bellamy turns around he picks up an oak plank and slams it on Bellamy

"You son of a bitch!" Octavia yells, about to hit Murphy but Jasper blocks her and Murphy punches Jasper, so I quickly throw a punch at Murphy

"Mary, get out of this" he says "come on, let's get the girl" he says but when he look at the tent he sees it empty "Charlotte! Charlotte, I know you can hear me and when u find you, you are gonna pay!" Murphy yells

"This is crazy" I says looking at Jasper as I helps him stand up

Clarke and Bellamy told us Charlotte killed herself after Murphy run after her, they decided to banish him

I understand that. I understand what Murphy's chances to survive out there with the grounders and the fog is almost none, but that was on him

Charlotte didn't deserve to die, neither him. She was a kid but she made mistake that's bigger than us

We're all just kids that has been forced to make their own rules, kids that got to survive on our own.

Murphy is not my enemy, but he's also not my friend. I just wish I would stop them from hanging them, then he wouldn't chase after Charlotte and they wouldn't banish him

I understand why he was banished, I don't blame Clarke or Bellamy, I just wish he wasn't. I don't need to be friends with him, but I just want his presence. Just to know he's okay

"Will we able to talk to them?" Clarke asks Monty as me, Finn, Octavia, Clarke and gathered to see is Monty could make connections with the Ark

"No. More like Morse code" Monty says "you wanna do the honours?" Monty asks Jasper "that port right there" Monty says before Jasper takes a wire and connects it to the wristband. But it fails

It made everyone's wristband a short circuit "what happened?" Clarke asks "didn't work. I think we fried all the wristbands" Monty says

"We're dead" I says before Monty glares at me "what?" I asks before Finn walks away, Clarke follows him. Jasper sits down

I look at Jasper seeing Octavia kissing him, I share a look with Monty before all three of us shares a look after Octavia walks away

"Good job brother" I says, he's my brother in a way.

I skipped the next chapter because I think it'll be boring, I didn't really find where to place Mary because they don't show Jasper&Monty in it so I decided to skip it
