It was a normal day in Beach City. The sun was shining, the wind was blowing, and Steven was visiting the Crystal Gems. The Diamonds heard about this, so they wanted to visit earth to see him! But, they didn't tell Spinel.

"Spinel? Something verryy special is happening today!" White Diamond chirped.

"What is it?" Spinel unenthusiastically asked.

"Steven Universe is visiting Beach City! And we are going to visit him!"

"WHAT?! REALLY?!" Spinel shouted, her eyes lighting up.

Spinel freshened up, excited to see Steven. It had been FOREVER since she had seen him in person! Meanwhile, at the beach house, Steven's car drove up to the house. Amethyst was watching the clouds through the window, and noticed his car.

"OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH! PEARL! GARNET! GREG! STEVEN'S HERE!" Amethyst shouted in glee.

"WHAT?!" The three others yelled, running out the door, Amethyst following. As Steven got out of his car, the gems and Greg pulled him into a hug.

"I didn't think you'd miss me so much!" Steven laughed.

"Beach City without you is boring as hell!" Amethyst exclaimed. Soon, everything started shaking. The Diamonds' ship landed on the ground.

"Wow, they actually show up at a not bad time," Pearl said with a chuckle. The Diamonds burst out of the ship, crouching down for the gems and Greg. Spinel stretched her way over to Steven and gave him a hug, wrapping her arms around him a couple times.

"I missed you too, Spinel!" Steven laughed. Just then, they heard someone.

"Hello Steven!"

"Huh?" Spinel looked to see Pink Pearl.

"Volleyball!" Steven went and hugged the pink pearl.

"Volleyball?" Spinel muttered.

"Oh yeah, I don't think you guys have met yet! This is Spinel, and This is Volleyball, or Pink Pearl!" Steven introduced.

"Nice to meet you Spinel!" Volleyball greeted her in a joyous manner. Spinel felt her heart beating as she blinked twice, making sure she was seeing her right.

"Wh-what is this feeling? Is this that thing that Garnet told me about that one time when I was trying to kill Steven? What was it called... Love?" Spinel thought, staring at Volleyball. "N-nice to meet you too, P- uh, Volleyball." Volleyball smiled at her, only making Spinel's heart race even faster. Lapis and Peridot rushed over, but stopped as they saw Spinel staring at Volleyball.

"I know that look! It's the look Peri used to give me when we first met!" Lapis thought, while Peri thought almost the same thing.

"Lapis! Peri!" Steven gave them a hug. Volleyball turned to see them, breaking the eye contact between her and Spinel. While all the others were busy talking, Spinel pulled on Garnet's arm.

"What is it, Spinel?"

"You know that love thing you told me about back when I tried to kill Steven?"

"Yeah?"

"I think I'm having it."

"Really? Hold on-" Garnet unfused to reveal two excited gems, ready to hear what she would say.

"With Volleyball," Spinel told them. Sapphire and Ruby squealed.
