YOU ARE FEMALE, SORRY

Unlike Sans, you always thought your way around a problem. Not through it. In a way, you could be considered a coward. But, Gaster saw you showed your cleverness in any way you could. Since you were a... different gender than the three skeletons, Gaster had you wear a (f/c) shirt and a pair of old sweat pants. Today you were sitting in your little cell, back against the wall as Sans waited for Papyrus. "Why do you always avoid the problem?" You perked as you heard Sans.

"What?" You said in confusion. "Why do you always avoid the problem?" Sans repeated with a growl, you looked at your hands before images played in your mind. Red, red blood from your parents as two royal guards stabbed them. Black, black and dark skies that blocked the light. Clear blue, your tears as you cried.

You glanced at the wall before taking a breath. "I don't avoid the problem, I just out smart... others." You replied, Sans huffed as if he knew more to it. "There's more to it. Isn't there?" "Shut up Sans. I'm not dealing with you today." "You deal with me everyday. What's the difference?" You growled lowly.

You HATED it when Sans was right. You were about to reply when you heard footsteps. You stood up and looked from outside the barrier to see Papyrus and Gaster. You sighed in relief before Gaster walked up to your cell. You silently groaned. "Come along Subject 3."

You followed Gaster to one of the testing rooms. Gaster then noticed... You seemed a bit off. "Subject 3, what is bothering you?" You looked at Gaster then looked at the ground. "I will not ask-" "It's Sans." Gaster seemed surprised before he noticed your shoulders were shaking and tears were hitting the ground.

"H..he..." Gaster placed his hand on your back and led you to what seemed to be an office. "Sans, what?" Gaster asked, you took a breath and allowed some tears to run down your cheeks. "Sans cannot mind his own damn business. He knows there's more to me. I... I am trying not to let him know..."

Gaster knelt in front of you before you hugged yourself. "I'm scared. It took me so long to earn his trust. If he... I..If he..." Gaster gently placed his hand on the back of your head and made you step forward.

"With how well you pass the puzzles and tests I give you. I doubt Sans will figure out your past." Gaster said confidently as he pressed his forehead against yours. You closed your eyes and accepted this moment. "You are a very clever (8-14) year old. A beautiful one to be honest. Embrace it."

You slowly nodded before Gaster noticed there was something in your pocket, it was a little golden heart. He ignored it and made you go through the tests, of course, you scored perfectly. As you walked back to your cell, you smiled.

Gaster was... secretly father like...

You knew it from the start.
