When I first saw the link to this fic floating around on my tumblr timeline I wasn't all that interested because I'm not a fan of Haylor (Harry/Taylor) but I kept seeing it pop up everywhere and people were saying how much it destroyed them. I'm a sucker for sad fics so I decided to give it a try and holy shit they were not wrong.

I read the first chapter of this on an airplane and I kid you not I had tears streaming down my face almost the entire time. I was a disaster I honestly don't think any fic has made me this much of a wreck in ages.

I really don't want to spoil anything but a basic summary is that Harry and Taylor get drunk and sleep together but she ends up pregnant and Harry is with Nick when he finds out and just oh my god it hurts so much I loved it.

And I really adore how the author wrote this. I haven't read many fics where pregnancy is involved but the ones I have usually seem a bit ridiculous. Not this one though it felt so real as if this is what would actually happen if Harry did get someone pregnant and it helped me become even more invested in the story because of that.

Also do you remember what I said with the last fic I put on this list about how they dragged on the ending for too long - well this one ties up perfectly. It was the conclusion I think the other fic needed, it didn't tell me everything but it gave me hope and it was so wonderful. I know that might not make sense but I can't really explain it any better without saying what happened.

Overall this might actually be one of my favorite stories. I did have a few problems with it like there was some odd time skips and I felt it could have been filled out a bit more in the middle. The second chapter was very short compared to the others and that threw me off a bit, and I lowkey really wanted some more Gryles smut, but these are all minor complaints.

Seriously though if you want to have your heart torn out of your chest and then slowly stitched back in I highly recommend this fic.
