Nick says it casual, like it's three years ago and Harry being at Nick's is as routine as monthly team nights out or take-away curry and Bake Off on Saturdays. Fiona considers for a second, slight frown at the corner of her mouth as if she's trying to remember the last time Nick mentioned Harry being over and before she can do the math, he smirks and asks, "Who gets up that early, anyway?"

I think I actually read this fic ages ago either that or I was just skimming it for porn at one time because I recognized parts of it but I don't believe I ever finished it.

But I was stuck on an airplane again with nothing to do so I read through it all and by the end I was crying.

I need to stop reading fanfics on airplanes in general I always end up nasty or in tears.

Anyway this was a lovely story with a pretty simple plot which I liked because it let me focus on the emotions more.

Basically Harry shows back up at Nick's place after disappearing for nine months and Nick has no idea what to think. He isn't sure if he can bear getting close to Harry again only for him to leave and his internal struggle is so well done, this author writes Nick wonderfully.

It was soft and angsty with a tiny bit of smut at the end which always makes up a lovely Gryles.
