Marinette has always been a kind, cheerful girl. But Alya found out that she can be the exact opposite when Adrien Agreste is mentioned.

Dislike is an understatement, Marinette simply hates him.

It started off like any other day, she woke up, taking in the beautiful rays of sunshine burrowing into her room.

Then she realized it was the start of soulmate season, a month where you are hand cuffed to your soulmate. On instinct, she curiously turned her head to peer down at her new companion, only to be met by Adrien Agreste's blazing green eyes.

"Hello." The boy yawned, hair ruffled slightly, she froze, eyes wide in shock.

"..Do you want an autograph?" He questioned at the girl, smirking softly as he played with his hair.

Snapping back to reality, she grumbled in response, glaring at the blonde man.

"This is torture." She simply responded, kicking her sheets off her bed. He raised an eyebrow, but grabbed her cuffed hand in protest.

"Five more minutes?" He questioned hopefully, rubbing the temple of his right eye.

"Look, I have school today- and I can't afford to be late." She huffed, yanking her hand away from his. She climbed down with ease, pulling him down beside her.

"You're no fun." He grumbled in response.

"

Honey! Is this your soulmate?" Her cheerful mother roared, trying to get a glimpse at the mysterious blonde boy.

Marinette nodded, obviously not in the mood as she attempted to grab a croissant- but the plate was immediately pulled from her grasp.

Her mother was now holding the plate, offering a few to Adrien has Marinette huffed. Making him smirk at the girl.

"Is bugaboo hungry?" He held a croissant in his hand, holding it in front of her face. Boringly, she replied.

"I'd rather not." She mumbled, pushing the hand away from her. The blonde shrugged before happily taking a bite.

"This is delicious~ you're missing out." He concluded, taking another bite. She was tempted to punch him in the face.

"I want my breakfast Adrien, move." She groaned as the boy blocked her path, she tried to shove the boy away but the fact that he was fit wasn't helping.

"I already offered you breakfast, but you didn't want any." He shrugged, barely flinching as she pushed at his chest.

"Aren't you two an interesting pair." Sabine chuckled softly, before handing Marinette a croissant. Marinette thanked her mother, before making her way out the door.

"Princess~" The boy whined, obviously not wanting to go. A few people gasped and pointed at Adrien, muttering a few things to eachother.

"Just call me by my name!" She snapped furiously, eyebrows furrowed in frustration.

"Well.. What's your name?" He questioned, Marinette blushed in embarrassment. She didn't tell him her name, did she?

"Marinette." She answered, before yanking him towards her friends. He mentally groaned.

"Hi Alya! Hi Nino!" Marinette greeted with a small wave, a smile pricking her features.

"Ah, didn't know you could smile Mari." He chuckled teasingly, she flinched, ignoring his comment as Alya and Nino exchanged glances.

Alya chuckled quietly at Marinette's misfortune, before waving her cuffed hand in the air. Signalling she was cuffed to Nino.

"I'm so happy for you!" Marinette smiled, before winking.

"I know you will make beautiful children." The blue eyed girl commented sneakily, making the duo blush in response. Adrien stood there quietly before the attention was turned to him.

"I see that you got him." Nino raised an eyebrow, Marinette groaned in response.

"What about me?" He questioned, scratching the back of his neck nervously.

"Nothing." Alya replied, shrugging at the blonde haired boy. Adrien had no choice but to follow his soulmate, glancing around the school.

"Adrikins!" His eyes widened. They were in Paris- weren't they? That was Chloé Bourgeois..

Immediately, he grabbed Marinette's hand, making her flinch. She was tense. "Sorry Chlo, but I have al soulmate." He glanced behind Chloé to see Lila, she looked like she had given up hope.

When Chloé opened her mouth to protest, Marinette cut in. "You can have him. I don't want him." She stated, he frowned. Mari didn't want him?

"Marinette?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Adrien." She spat back, before trying to escape from the hand cuffs. He sighed, before snaking a hand around her waist.

"Come on, you know you can't escape. Lets just go get something to eat- okay?" He mumbled softly.

"I don't think you understand the word- 'Public School'." She snapped, slapping his hand away as she turned.

She stormed towards her classroom- ignoring a protesting Adrien. "What do you mean you don't like me?" He mumbled.

"Lets just say I'm not one of your fans." She hissed.

"Soo.. Your my girlfriend?" He corrected. Raising an eyebrow.

"Not funny Agreste." She hissed back, clearly not in a great mood.

"I don't know. I find it really punny." She groaned in annoyance as he wiggled his eyebrows at her.

"Why- can't you just stop and realize I'll never love you?"

"Never say never."

"Stop."

"Never."

She face-palmed.

After school, he kept calling her name. "Mari, Marinette, bug," Suddenly, a smirk appeared on his face.

"Lovebug! Marinette! Princess!" He kept on calling. She groaned.

"Purrincess.." He mumbled into her ear.

She snapped.

She turned around, eyes blazing. "Kitty, you are pawsitivily purrfect in every mew. I mew you so much. You are the light to my darkmeows." She growled through clenched teeth.

He blushed. "R-really?"

"No." Came her icy reply. "Go away."

He reminded her by lifting up his hand. A mischievous glint in his eye. "No can do."

"Great." She huffed under her breath, brushing back her own hair.
