" Handan, my sister? Are you fine?" Sultan Mehmed asked me when I woke up in my chambers. Next to him his Valide Sultan Mahfiruz was standing.

" I am fine now, Hunkarim." I said to him. My leg still hurted me and who would know if I would have been still alive if Iskender didn't save me.

" Thanks God on Iskender, he saved you. Who knows what would be with you if he wasn't there." Mehmed said as he seemed really worriedly for me, while Mahfiruz was rolling her eyes on me.

" If you haven't stayed in Old Palace for so long, this wouldn't happen. " Mahfiruz said to me annoyingly.

" I just wanted to see my Valide. I missed her so much. I never even imagined something like this could happen." I said to Mehmed not caring about Mahfiruz.

" You will calm down now and I want you to rest until your leg is fine. Please take care of yourself. " Mehmed said to me and left my chambers together with his mother Mahfiruz.

I knew I would need some time to recover, but I had important jobs to do. My plan couldn't wait anymore. I needed to talk with Sultan about my marriage as soon as possible. I needed to make him marry me with Kapudan Murad Pasha.

" Sultana, you shouldn't stand up on your legs. You should rest, please." Musa said to me as he entered my chambers worriedly.

" It's fine Musa, I will be fine. I can't be in my bed for the whole day." I said to him trying to stand on my legs, but it was too hard.

" Sultana, I have really important informations for you. I heard when Mahfiruz Sultana was talking with Iskender." he said to me and started to tell me how it was.

" Why did you save Handan? Don't you realise that the bandits were there to kill her? Who are you to risk your life to save her? " upset Mahfiruz asked Iskender.

" Sultana, what do you talk about? You ordered bandits to kill her? That's why they attacked us? " Iskender asked her in distrust as his voice quickly changed to worried.

" Of course I did, why did you save her? Why would you risk her life for her?" Mahfiruz said to him angrily.

" Sultana has done nothing wrong. I saved her because she didn't deserve to be punished like that. She has done nothing bad." Iskender said and looked away from Mahfiruz.

" I am Valide Sultana here and you will listen to my orders. She is enemy of my son Mehmed. This was perfect opportunity for us to get rid of her, but you destroyed it." Mahfiruz yelled on Iskender.

" I am sorry, Sultana. But only person here that I will listen to its order is Sultan Mehmed. I can't and won't do anything bad to anyone." Iskender said and bowed his head down.

" Shame for you. We teached you about everything. I took you with us in Sanjak. You are best friend of my son Sultan Mehmed. I would do whatever is needed to make you a Grand Vizier, but you disappointed me." Mahfiruz said dissappointedly to Iskender.

" I won’t take any innocent life. I am not here to murder people for you, I am here to help Sultan Mehmed." Iskender bowed and went away to his chambers.

I couldn’t believe what Musa said to me. Mahfiruz ordered bandits to attack me and kill me, and one of her servants Iskender saved me from them.

" Sultana, I couldn't believe what I heard. That snake only wants bad for you, you need to take care of yourself." Musa said to me worriedly.

" Mahfiruz will get what she deserves. I won't forgive her this easily. She gave me one more reason to destroy her." I said to him and continued to lay on my beed.

One week later, after I recovered, I decided to meet again with Kapudan Murad Pasha in Secret Gardens. I needed to talk with him about the marriage and I wanted to ask him if he is really for that the same way I am.

" I am glad you came here, Pasha. I need to talk with you about something important." I said to him as he couldn't stop looking away from me. I dressed most beautiful I could because I wanted to impress man I love.

" Sultana, where does all of this beauty come from?" he looked at me from head to toe and his words made me blush.

" You are always so kind, Pasha." I said to him and gave him soft smile.

" Your mother was really afraid for you, I was too. I wish I could go with carriage with you to save you. She heard Iskender saved you and she wants you to keep distance with him." Murad said to me looking me worriedly if I am fine.

" I was afraid in that moment too, but luckily Iskender saved me. If he wasn't here, I would already be dead. And I found out Mahfiruz ordered bandits to kill me." I saw Murad looking jealousy at mention of Iskender.

" I wish I could be close to you Sultana, not that enemy Iskender. I can't sleep peacefully when I know he is close to you. " Murad said to me jealously.

" That's why we need to talk about that plan. As you know alone, I need to find suitable husband for me which I can trust." I said to him and he smiled to me.

" I wish I can be that lucky man, only God knows what I would do for my dream to make it come true." I blushed on his words, I knew this meant he accepts my offer.

"  Don't you know it's inappropriate for young Sultana to secretly meet with men? You know what kind of punishment can you get?" Mahfiruz Sultana said proudly to me as she entered the Secret Gardens.
