I am... so freaking excited for y'all to read this.

For those who have been concerned about our beloved snek boi, your questions will be answered.

I hope you enjoy the last part of this book.
Also, please read the A/N at the end!! It's got a few important things.

|Previous chapter:

Lying there, Roman's arms around me and my head resting on his chest, allowing me to hear his heartbeat, I knew that it'd be hard to forget the past few months. But I knew that I could, so long as I had Roman there to help.|

TW: Swearing, kissing

Roman POV:

Virgil and I were cuddling in my room, a peaceful silence between the two of us. Virgil's head was resting on my chest, one of his arms lying across my stomach so that our hands could be intertwined. My other arm was wrapped around Virgil's shoulders, allowing me to comb my fingers through his hair.

"I love you, Ro," Virgil murmured after a while, slowly moving his head so that he could look at me.

"I love you, too, Starlight," I murmured back, placing a kiss on Virgil's forehead as a blush appeared on his cheeks.

A few days after we had started dating, Virgil and I had been stargazing, and I had come up with that nickname. The plus side to the nickname was that Virgil always became incredibly flustered when I called him that, which just gave me more reason to call him that.

"Rooommmannnn, you know that makes me flustered," Virgil whined, face hidden in my chest.

"I know, Love," I chuckled. "Seeing you flustered just gives me more reason to continue."

"Roman!" Virgil squealed, turning to face me. "You are such a jerk!"

"But I'm your jerk," I said with a smirk.

Virgil pouted slightly, and I leaned in, capturing his lips in a kiss. Virgil sighed and leaned into the kiss, his hands lacing through my hair.

Even after months of dating, it still amazed me how well my lips fit against Virgil's.

Virgil pulled away from the kiss, but I stayed close, trailing kisses down his jaw and neck.

It was then that my phone started ringing. When I heard the tone, I huffed, pouting slightly. Virgil laughed at my pout, and I stuck my tongue out at him as I climbed off my bed to get my phone.

Looking at the screen, I saw that Elliott was trying to Face Time me. Laughing slightly, I pressed accept and walked back to my bed, sitting next to Virgil, who rested his chin on my shoulder.

"Hey there, Elliott!" I greeted when Elliott appeared on the screen.

"'Sup Roman," Elliot replied. It was then that they noticed Virgil. "Virgil! How are you?"

"I'm good, Elliott," Virgil said with a smile. "How are things going for you?"

"Well," they started, and, while they were thinking, I noticed that their eyes were slightly red.

"Are you okay, Elliot?" I asked, concern for them growing in my chest.

"Oh, um, yeah," Elliott replied, glancing down for a few seconds. "I finally broke up with-"

"Oh my god!!! Elliott, I'm so proud of you!" I shouted before they had finished speaking.

"Thanks, Roman," Elliott whispered softly, a faint smile appearing on their face. They then continued to talk about their last appointment with Picani.

While they were talking, Virgil kissed my cheek before whispering that he'd leave me and Elliot to talk.

After Virgil had left, Elliott and I talked for a while longer before they had to leave.

Once we had hung up, I looked around and stretched, my arm tired from holding my phone. As I was lowering my arms, my fingers brushed against a piece of paper. Glancing to my left, I saw a slip of paper. Picking it up, I instantly recognized Virgil's handwriting.

Catch me if you can ;)

"Oh my," I chuckled, shaking my head as I left my room.

Heading to the living room, I saw that it was empty, but I knew better.

"Virgil!" I called, pausing to listen for a response.

The living room remained silent. I sighed and smiled, walking around the room and looking behind the TV, couch, and chair.

Not finding Virgil, I entered the kitchen, quickly glancing around before moving on.

After about 15 minutes of searching, I groaned, leaning against my door as I tried to think of where Virgil could be.

Giving up, I walked across the h ll to the door of the one side that knew Virgil better than I did. After knocking on the door, I waited in the hall, bouncing on the balls of my feet as I waited.

A few seconds later, the door opened, and I was greeted by a tired-looking Deceit.

"What do you need, Roman?" Deceit asked with a yawn. "You interrupted our nap. This better be important."

Glancing into his room, I saw his boyfriends Remy and Picani curled up in his bed, sound asleep.

"Sorry about that," I quickly said. "It's just that Virgil's hiding, and I can't find him. I've looked everywhere. I figure that, since you're his best friend, you'll probably know where he is.

"Kitchen sink," Deceit said immediately before letting out a few laughs.

"Kitchen sink?" I repeated, utterly confused.

"Trust me on this one," Deceit said with a smile, patting me on the shoulder. "It'll make sense."

With that, Deceit shut the door, leaving me standing in the hall. Shrugging, I turned and walked back to the kitchen.

Entering the room, I went over to the sink. Standing there, what Deceit had told me made no more sense than when he had first told me.

"Fuck you, Deceit!" I shouted, hoping that Deceit was able to hear me, although I was immediately silent afterwords. I could have sworn that I heard muffled laughter coming from under the sink.

"You little stinker," I chuckled when I realized where Virgil was before crouching down and opening the cabinet doors under the sink.

Sitting there, with a bag of chocolate chips, was Virgil.

"I found you," I said slyly, laughing when Virgil simply continued eating chocolate chips.

"What, not even a hello?" I teased, to which Virgil smirked and continued eating.

"Well, then," I said gravely. "I shall have to resort to extreme measures."

Before Virgil could react, I reached in and snatched the bag of chocolate chips out of Virgil's hands. As soon as I had them, I dashed to the doorway of the kitchen, turning around to watch Virgil scramble out of his hiding space.

"Give 'em back, Ro!" Virgil pleaded as he finished climbing out.

Once Virgil was free of the cabinet, I turned and bolted down the hall, giggling when I heard Virgil chasing me. Turning to look over my shoulder, I called back.

"Catch me if you can!"

A/N:

Oh god... this is it... this is the last A/N for this book.

God, I'm gonna start to fucking bawl

I seriously don't want this to be over. Writing this book has been such an incredible experience for me. It's allowed me to grow as a writer while meeting so many amazing people, and I'm so, so immensely grateful for every single one of you beautiful people for reading and loving this book as much as me.

Every single one of your comments makes my day. I may not have responded right away, but I always read the emails I get that show me what the comments are, and I'll just be sitting at my computer laughing my ass off.

I just... I don't even have the words to describe what I'm feeling right now. Like, I don't even know. And if you can't tell, I'm trying to make this A/N incredibly long so I don't have to end it, 'cause that's just the kind of person I am.

But, um, I guess the last thing I have to say before closing out is just to keep an eye on my profile 'cause I'm probably going to be posting the first few chapters for the next book I'm working on within the next month or so.

ALSO!!!!!!!
I'm going to be doing a Q&A where you can ask any of the characters in the book anything you want (within reason, of course.)

More details on that will come in, like, two or so days.

Until next time,

Take it easy guys, gals, and non-binary pals!!!
