Ryobo's POV ❄️

For a while, Gadget remained asleep until it was around 6:21 pm when he eventually started to wake up and yawn a little.

Looking over, he immediately noticed that I was awake too before he sat up on the bed and stretched the tiredness out of him for a moment.

I sat up too as I watched him, thinking and not sure about what I should say.

"Hey...Didja rest well?" I asked him out of random.

Gadget nodded his head in response before smiling and chuckling a bit, as he ruffled me on the head.

As soon as Gadget started to do that, I started to purr a little cutely, making Gadget gush in adore over what just I did.

"You sound so adorable when you purr like that..." Gadget says as he pulled me close to him and his body, cuddling me as he did so.

I blushed lightly over that before nodding and thanking him for complimenting me.

Without saying anything, we just remained cuddling each other for a few more minutes until I sighed.

"Something on your mind, Ryobo?" Gadget asked as he looked at me.

"No...Not really. Just feeling uncertain about what I should do, in order to win my secret crush's heart." I answered as I buried my face into Gadget's chest and started to blush a little.

After I did that, I heard Gadget chuckle for a sec until I felt him rubbing and petting the back of my head, comfortingly.

I smiled and started purring again, enjoying that nice feeling, as I curled up into a ball and wrapped my arms around Gadget's waist.

As much as I wanted to say it to Gadget right now, but I can't because of my stupid dandere side, I actually wish we could stay together in each other's arms forever.

"Hey, Ryobo?"

"Mm?" I went.

"You wanna get something to eat before we head over to the infirmary to see what's going on with you?" Gadget asked as he looked at me, still keeping me embraced in his arms.

I nodded in response as I looked at him by the eyes.

"Alright..." Gadget says before letting me go and getting off the bed.

After he did that, I got up and off the bed too as I stretched while yawning a little.

Once I was done, Gadget looked over and smiled at me as we were heading to the cafeteria, until he asked me what do I want to eat.

"I'm not so sure..." I replied, scratching the back of my head as I blushed a little in embarrassment.

"That's alright. Take your time...I'm gonna get some curry, since that's what I want to eat." Gadget mentions, making my ear perk up a little at that.

"Did you just say 'curry'?" I asked. "What kind of curry are you getting?"

"I'm getting the japanese curry. And I'll be picking the spicy one, flavor wise, since I like that flavor the most." Gadget answered.

"Ooh! I wanna try some! But, I'm picking a different flavor instead." I say as I started wagging my tail excitedly.

"Nice...I'll tell you what the flavors are and you can tell me which one you want."

"Okay, sounds good!"

However, as me and Gadget were in the cafeteria, I was completely unaware of a certain jackal I knew, who was currently stalking us without being noticed.

Once we got our food, me and Gadget went over and sat down at a table to hang out and chat with our friends.

Every once in a while, I would glance over at Gadget before looking back at my friends as I continued chatting with them.

Until the conversation suddenly changed, thanks to Sonic.

"Hey, Ryobo?"

"Yeah?"

"I just noticed that you keep looking at Gadget lately..."
